Celestial Panzerhund 289 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 (edited) I'm sure you guys know that Walmart went to competition with Target yes? Same genre in what they both do. Well hell, why not go outside the box and go into competition with Gamestop? Really Walmart? Going into competition with Target, you beat them, fine. Now you go straight to GameStop and say: "Haiy! Let's go into a competition and if you lose, you work with us!" You greedy son of a guns. Why go after GameStop when it's for young kids, to young adults. They have employees from young adults, to adults behind the register. They know gaming. Do we really need an old person behind the same counter, not knowing what he/she is talking about? Old: "Yeah so you can have this to go with... that... and that to do... this." Customer: "But what are they?" Old: "Don't question me! I served in WWII! I got 150 confirmed kills and you need to grow a pair and stop playing on these boxes with magic moving pictures!" Customer: "..... All I wanted... was a trade in for these games?" Old: "What are games?" Walmart can't hire nice people who know what they're talking about. GameStop can! Walmart has people that shrug you off with a shoulder, and I have plenty of stories about that if you want to hear them. But for now, what do you think? Is Walmart going to far with their rein of terror? Taking out Target and now trying to destroy GameStop? For a joke: I can't blame Walmart going after Target, because they painted a "target" on their back. Edited March 23, 2014 by Wolframite Sharp as a Blade. Swift as an Arrow. Instincts of a Wolf. Sir Xarthas VI 470 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 Wal-Mart is evil, that's why. Around 5 years ago when I moved here (where I live now), there was 2 Wal-Marts within a 15 mile radius. It's been 5 years and already there's 6 more (2 of them were put right next to the old ones, and all are still open). Not only that, but since then, a lot of Target's and Kmart's have been disappearing... Adorkable 2,737 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 Walmart couldn't touch GameStop, really. Unless they made new games cheaper than GameStop, and had better trade in deals than GameStop. Which Walmart is a bunch of greedy bastards, I used to work for them. They won't do it.

Celestial Panzerhund 289 March 23, 2014 Author Share March 23, 2014 UPDATE: Walmart cheats there employees! They tell them to work off the clock and if they don't, they get fired. They also cheat them into over time. They screw over there time and change it around on the computer system under false user ID and change it from 8hrs, to 40hrs. What. The. Hell!?! They abuse their employees and give them under budget wages! 1 Sharp as a Blade. Swift as an Arrow. Instincts of a Wolf.
Moved to Elsewhere 11,331 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 Okay Walmart going after Gamestop makes no since. them competing with Target, I can understand cause they're both super stores that sell more or less the same things. Gamestop however, the store is exclusively for selling video games. Sure, Walmart has a section for video games but it's not the main aspect of the store. What, do they wanna be the only ones who sell video games in the world. This is showing that Walmart is getting pretty greedy. No wonder I shop at Target. To make it even worse, they are also sexist. They think that if your female, you were not worth the time, nor the money. Edited March 23, 2014 by Wolframite Sharp as a Blade. Swift as an Arrow. Theshadowmaster235 70 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 Walmart is turning into the new Disney. We're all screwed. And everyone knows that disney is pure evil I mean who on earth would give miley cyrus a TV show! Sorry 46 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 Walmart can't hire nice people who know what they're talking about. GameStop can! Walmart has people that shrug you off with a shoulder, and I have plenty of stories about that if you want to hear them. Excuse you, I work at Wal-Mart (unfortunately) and I consider myself to be fairly polite and nice! Granted..I think I'm a rare employee...But still! And after working there for two years, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to mens underwear. I applied for produce just so everyone knows..Not the mens clothing and underwear... Also, if anyone wants to hear any stories from a current Wal-Mart employee..Message me at your own risk. I'd post them here but..Ya know, it was the only job I could get. I'll say this though, Wal-Mart's goal is to be the "one stop shop" for people, those are the EXACT words I was told. Competing with EVERYTHING only makes sense. Unfortunately. PS, I buy my gaming stuff at GameStop, not Wal-Mart.~ > u <
Diva Pony 345 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 I do not shop at Wal Mart and I will not shop at Wal Mart. But people who unfortunately live check to check often do because saving a few dollars to shop there makes more sense to them. When it comes down to the bottom line unfortunately most of society can't see past their own noses and see the big picture. Wal Mart can afford to sell at the prices they do because they cheat their employees. So the masses save money and give Wal Mart their power. As was said earlier we do have the power to take away their power but we won't. Getting a "deal" is too important even for those who could afford the extra few dollars to shop somewhere else. It's actually very sad.

ChoroChii 284 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 It's a big corporation and wants to get as much as it can. I also doubt they'd hire people who don't know what they're doing, if it's gaming. Still, I don't want this to happen.
Envy 6,162 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 There's a Walmart within walking distance of my house. To be honest, I'd much rather be able to get all of my gaming stuff there, instead of going into town for the Gamestop at the mall. Although, to be honest, I already do that. Gamestop really doesn't do anything special in my eyes. For used games, we have a small franchise of stores around that sells used games, CDs, and such. So... really, the need for a Gamestop just isn't even existent to begin with, in my mind. Everything needs more woodwind!
Starlighty 955 March 23, 2014 Share March 23, 2014 Omygosh when i heard the commerical seriously my first thought was wtf ? Why would someon wanna go to walmart to trade games when walmart doesnt sell anything execpt popular new ones? I would much rather go to gamestop then walmart for my games i can get pre owned games and older games far better priced then what walmart would price them at. I dont like the fact that walmart trying to take over the world its like chuckie cheese all over again. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=webhp&tbm=isch&source=hp&ei=kBduVKzHIMGqoQSA3oGYBQ&q=smile+smile+smile+pinkie+pie&oq=smile+smile+smile+pinkie+pie&gs_l=mobile-gws-hp.3...2593.19183.0.19546.43.36.0.0.0.1.1263.2249.6-1j1.2.0....0...1c.1.58.mobile-gws-hp..42.1.1263.0.t9GmIVfq5Q0#facrc=_&imgrc=PSKZ8o6BCR8iTM%253A%3BpH_DWjyDzGiWzM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Ffc08.deviantart.net%252Ffs70%252Ff%252F2012%252F049%252F6%252Fb%252Fcome_on_everypony_smile__by_dignifiedjustice-d4q4upq.png%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fhdw.eweb4.com%252Fout%252F554482.html%3B1920%3B1080
