Thinking that Bandcamp is the modern Myspace(even though that still exists but in a shell of it's former self) 

Well, in terms of the music artists connecting with fans aspect, not the social media aspect that it's become notorious for.

I really appreciate them actually caring about music artists and having a great system in place to promote a large variety of indie artists and have them fairly compensated without going out of business. I hope that never changes (even though Epic Games has ownership of it now, it doesn't seem like they're changing how Bandcamp is run. All of that Fortnite money being used for good!) Really nice to be able to get a digital copy of music and also have the option to purchase physical media too (assuming they have it ready as Bandcamp doesn't provide that directly).
