I've just started a series called Red, Rover and Charlie. About three dogs who have survived the apocalypse. So far it's a good read!

I read at the moment Über, Sandman, MLP, Unwritten, Manhattan Projects etc.

@Pinkie Perry This comic is on my wish list. It really looks interesting and I like stories with non-human animals as main characters.

So after getting all the MLP comics I decided since I still have about 27gb of space on my phone's SD card it's time to fill it up with comics! I'm going to get the Silent Hill comics and the Alien + Alien Vs Predator comics. But what are you reading MLPForums? And would you recommend it?

well of course I read All the MLP comics both friendship is magic and friends forever. other then that I also really enjoy a series called morning glories, now I don't know how old you are but it is definably a mature comic (blood and language) but man is the story riveting. it fallows the lives of six young adults as they are enrolled in morning glory academy, and it just gets weird from there. anoughter comic series that I enjoy is Grimm fairy tails, this tell the classic(big bag woof, stuff like that) fairy tails but each with an adult/modern twist. If you are looking for something a little more kid friendly I also really like super secret crisis war. It takes classic cartoon network shows and mashes them together think power puff girls and fosters home for imaginary friends mashed together.

'Morning Glories lol. Currently I'm only reading Japanese slice of life' manga or watching anime of that genre, as I've read way too much of that genre in Western comics over the years. But I am amused by the concept. And yes I am an adult.

Well although it starts as a slice of life comic it really changes up in the second issue, it turns into more of an thriller/ mystery or at least that is what the back says. And morning glories refers to the name of the  school not well you get  it.

I rarely read comics; however, I heard about this one called Chew through a random thread that someone mentioned in passing. When I saw it was about some kind of psychic impression (I love things like pyschometry), I decided to look it up. Read it in one day. Loved it.

Chew is about a world in which chicken and other fowl meat types are banned due to an outbreak of bird flu that killed millions of people in the United States and Tony Chu (LMAO GET IT HIS NAME IS LIKE CHEW) is a Food and Drug Officer/vice cop who discovers he is a cibopath - someone who can receive psychic impressions from the food he eats, people included. ;) There are other similar food-related powers, but I won't say anything more.

It's a fascinating series with a great underlying dark humour and supporting cast. Highly recommend it to anyone, even if you don't like comics. There's some blood, etc., but nothing too bad. Seems like it's a silly concept? It's not. It gets pretty terrifying at some points. XD

A lot of people didn't like the jump from issue 18 to issue to 27 to issue 19. I thought it was cool and unique to show the future first. ^^

Besides the mlp comics, I've been reading a sci-fi horror series called Calibran (which kinda has a very Dead Space feel to it), the Spiderman 2099 revival and I'm collecting Green Lantern: New Guardians in trade.

I used to read Spiderman as a kid. Haven't read much of it since then though.

Well, after I caught up with the MLP comics, I downloaded the 6-issue Uncharted series. I wasn't expecting much, but the comic was pretty darned good, I felt. Loved the artwork, and the story really harkened back to the games.

Loved them! Now, I may get into some Godzilla comics next...

I remember reading some Godzilla comics from the late 90's all in black and white in collected volumes from the library. I recall the comics being kinda dull since it was about the politics of Godzilla not him actually demolishing stuff. Still I oughta get hold of them again since I plan to get a 10" tablet

I think there have been some more recent Godzilla comics come out; I believe IDW has the license right now.

I remember some time back I believe Dark Horse had the license at one time.

That was most likely who published the series in the 90's, along with the Alien and Alien V Predator series amongst others I enjoyed as a kid. IDW seem to own everything now. MLP comics included.

Well, I think multiple companies have had it, and I don't think Dark Horse is the one you're speaking of. Now that I think of it, I actually have the last issue of the Dark Horse series.

It could've been Marvel; I'm not sure. Here's a nice concise history of Godzilla comics.

Definitely Dark Horse where the ones  I read since they where from the late 80's-90's.
