You definitely aren't! I've been with Sonic since 2007, and began drawing in the summer of the same year.

I haven't played many of the games though or watched the shows or read any comics, just a fandom fan much like with MLP, though I have some merch.

You can always search for members with Sonic in their interests, then see the results. ^^

Though, as much as I like Sonic I don't really care for the official storyline and stuff like MLP, I'm more focusing on the fandom and fan characters. :/

There are entire threads dedicated to the many things Sonic. I don't think you're the only one.

 

I love everything about the Sonic franchise from games to comics to cartoons. In the games, I tend to like the newer stuff more than the older stuff. In the cartoons, sort of the older but I haven't seen all of Sonic X and the new show coming out looks like it could be amazing (the game too, of course). As far as the comics go I haven't read many of the newer ones but I've read about the first hundred issues of the main comic and I lurved every second of it.

I've been with Sonic since the gamecube first came out. I love the newer parkour-styled gameplay and such high speed action. The past couple of years I was disappointed with Sonic Unleashed. Colors was decent, Generations was AMAZING, and Lost World really brings back the classic sonic attitude. Can't wait for Sonic Boom

I absolutely love sonic. The original games were a big part of my chilhood. It is arguably one of the best platformers ever made and one of the most recognizable video game characters too.

 

I'm kimda iffy about the 3d games though.The Sonic Adventures were pretty good and Sonic Generations was great, but other than that they've been very hit and miss regarding their 3d titles.

I like Sonic too, there are drawings of Sonic-styled ponies on my DeviantArt. I'm actually working on beating Sonic Advance in the Visual Boy Advance emulator right now.

 

I also do like both Sonic X and SatAM.

I do like Sonic, however, I don't play much more of the games, since im lame and don't have a ps3, Xbox 360, and the other systems the newer Sonic games appear on. I mean, my boyfriend has those systems...but..

 

Anyways, what I would LOVE is they should make a Sonic game where they bring back the Chao gardens with newer features and newer things. I doubt they will ever again, but growing up with the Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, I practically played those only for the Chao, Oops :X no, they were good games, but the Chao caring was SO fun!!

 

At least, to me it was. Not sure about anyone else!

Sonic. Man, that character brings back a lot of memories.

I played the crap out of Sonic Heroes when I was a kid. I loved that game so much. I still love it. I'll always be a Sonic fan. I may not be a "hardcore" as some others though. (I don't watch the show, read the comics, ect.)

 

I'm definitely going to pick up that new sonic game when it comes out. (The one where he has a hipster scarf thingy)

I don't openly admit I like sonic. I like the genesis games but the current games suck really hard. I heard generations is an exception to the rule but as of late nearly all the games the sonic team spit out have been garbage. I was a fan of the Disney AoStH cartoon, but i cannot stand Sonic X :\

 

I really don't like the sonic fans. They are the reason i am so hushed about me liking sonic. Everyone and i do mean EVERYONE on deviantart and their moms have done fan character art and my god it is so annoying now. I am sick of seeing fan chars that resemble sonic, tails and or shadow. I despise the sonic art style because of all the fan chars i came across. I don't actively seek out these either, i look for something else and they creep into the results when i don't want them. Its so fucking annoying.

 

That being said i do like sonic. One thing i cant stand from the sonic team's end is eggman though. i know him as Dr. Ivo Robotnik. And i thought robotnik was brilliant. WHY EGGMAN? its so stupid. sonic could call him robuttnik and everything, it was perfection! gawd,

 

 

Go ahead everyone, hate me because i cant stand the "fan" chars and current games which suck eggs. >_<
