Rockymoo 2,137 April 4, 2014 Share April 4, 2014 I like to consider Indiana an honorary southern state. Culture-wise, it's literally indistinguishable from, say, Kentucky, in the rural areas, which take up about 80& of the state. Especially southern Indiana. Dear God, you might as well be in Missouri. The only difference is our accents still have that rural twang, but it's nowhere near as thick. At least in my town. Oh, and according to Chevette, Indiana is the trailer park capital of the US. BayoUni2847 528 April 4, 2014 Share April 4, 2014 No other bronies (other than my friend that I hardly associate with) live within an hour radius of my place here in Wisconsin, I've checked the map.
hawkflame 3,310 April 4, 2014 Share April 4, 2014 Yeah it probably is. I was joking. New Jersey SUCKS. Don't live here... just don't. Hey, we have Paramus, the shopping mecca of the US. That somewhat makes up for things. Sig by Thunderstorm Check out my Rarity fansite!

aoEAF2FBvC0MIo2Q 3,673 April 4, 2014 Share April 4, 2014 Hm... Considering the stereotype of the notorious Bible Belt, it would definitely be ironic. You'd think it'd be too easy for people from there to avoid the show and its fanbase as if it were the new bubonic plague with their plague doctor masks and dark attire at the ready. Creamy Arty 6,252 April 5, 2014 Share April 5, 2014 Now that you mention it, I know quite a few from down there. Interesting. But I do know plenty from states north as well. As for me, I'm from Virginia, so I'm around the center of the country, latitudinally speaking. Some day I'd like to move north. Perhaps to Pennsylvania or to Massachusetts so I can bug . Not sure what you would consider me then. 1 Kyoshi made this ^^ Come join us on Equestria.tv on Fridays at 6 PM Eastern for our weekly movie nights! StarSwirlTheBearded 356 April 6, 2014 Share April 6, 2014 I'd imagine that bronies come more from cities and hipster-friendly places such as the Northwest. I think that the southerners just talk about it more since it's very ironic to be a brony from the bible belt. ReverseFaller 2,483 April 6, 2014 Share April 6, 2014 I live in Minnesota and there are tons of bronies here. I'm not sure if there are a ton of bronies in the southern US or not. I think there are a good amount of bronies in most places of the world where the show airs on TV. Credit for the signature goes to Kyoshi
Kel_Grym 1,917 April 6, 2014 Share April 6, 2014 I'm from Texas! I feel special. As far as I know, bronies can come from any place. (some can come from different countries! Woo! Texas! ...I'm from east texas...it stinks here. ...and that's not just the humidity. I think there are plenty of bronies here, but in smaller rural areas, it's less likely to find them, and also there is the whole southern fag hate phenomena to deal with as well. I know when to run, when I hear banjos...

facemelt91 62 April 6, 2014 Share April 6, 2014 (edited) I'm interested in meeting some bronies from the UK! Haven't met anybody else who likes it from UK :/ I don't think there are many bronies in the UK for the simple reason as nobody really gives a shit if you like MLP. I wouldn't say we were as "accepting" of bronies as much as we probably think it's a bit weird, but wouldn't really hold it against someone. We Brits don't tend to make a fuss about such things and I don't think that the UK gives bronydom the attention it deserves. I think we'd rather pretend it doesn't exist, much like how Queen Victoria didn't persecute lesbians because she didn't believe they existed. PsychedelicPony 440 April 7, 2014 Share April 7, 2014 I am from the South, live in Florida go to school in Arkansas. But maybe it seems disproportionate on these forums because, this is just my theory, the North has less of a stigma with female/male things so Bronies can more easily find other Bronies in their area not drawing them to a forum rather than myself where I know no Bronies in my immediate area and the only ones I have met are at least 2 hours away.
