Ever hate your friend just a little?

I was surfing YouTube when I decided to check up on my email.

I noticed I had gotten an email from one of my friends.

Now this friend of mine knows that I'm a Brony and constantly teases me about it.

I don't mind though.

He sent a video to me, but he did something to the thumbnail to make it turn black so you couldn't tell what the video was about.

I clicked on the video.

I won't say what it was to spare some of you younger people.

So for the people who do know what the video is here's a photo of it.

My reaction:

I could not forgive my friend until a week later.

I mean seriously, he knows how much I love Fluttershy.

I hated him a little bit, but I eventually forgave him.

 I don't really have any real life friends at the moment, I just have internet friends. Sometimes I want nothing more than to punch them through the internet somehow. I always forgive people though, as long as they don't cause me any real major harm.

Yeah.......one of my friends tends to forget stuff easily. He's also a tad impatient, aaand he also cusses in public, quite loud and drawn out as well.

 

I swear, some days I want to gut him like a fish. He's just lucky I've a good heart enough that I can forgive him. That's what I like about myself. I have enough honour and the good grace to forgive others.

There's absolutely nothing saying you have to like everything about your friends. I have plenty of friends who tease me about liking MLP but it's only in jest. It's annoying but I also realize why it's funny. Learn to see stuff like that from their point of view as well. If they are real friends they will know when to stop as long as you make it clear that you feel you are being pushed too hard or being bullied.

 

And remember, if worse comes to worse don't feel bad about blocking someone if they are toxic to your environment.

Of course I have hated my friends. I don't think many deep friendships come without a dash of hate.

 

But you gotta learn to view it from their point of view, and combine it with some self irony.

 

A good example is me being a brony. They laugh at me for it, but I laugh with them since I can see how they view it. However I hate them for being so closed minded they won't even watch a single episode of the show before judging.

 

But in the end of the day they are not me. They are different, and have different motivations. I still love hanging with them

Unfortunately, I didn't have many "close" friends, b/c of my traumatic exp and my sense of caring from the death of both my best friends.   However, when they made fun of me, I would forgive them.

I had a best friend who lived next door to me and we were inseparable. We could talk about anything and we always had fun. However, she would always tell others what we talked about and twist it around. She was also pretty self-conceded.

 

She actually moved away 2 years ago, and I don't miss her attitude. But I do miss her.

I'm afraid I'm losing my best friend, in all honesty he's turned into a real douche bag, he hangs out with douchy guys that bug the hell outta me and who are obsessed with their looks, the girls he introduces me to are all ratchet, he's constantly at the gym taking selfies to show off his body, he treats women like just pieces of ass needing to be fucked and expects them to respect him, and I can't share with him how I like MLP because he thinks it's gay so I have to hide that from him to save whatever is left of this relationship,

 

people say I should get a new best friend but we've been best friends since we we 12, he means something special to me, and I don't make any close friends. Me and my friend went our whole lives teasing each other and saying insults back and forth for fun, now we are 26 it's hard to even hang out with him

Nah, I don't hate my friends. I do hate my ex friends though. I was hanging out with 2 of my buddies for about 5 years, I don't see them for 1 year, I see them on the street, I give them a big wave and shout "Wazuuuuuuup?!" and they just look away. I lost 2 friends and looked like a big idiot. Screw those guys!
