Digimon all the way. That show taught me and a lot of people the true meaning friendship, and hard-working, and i grew up with that show, and of course i mean the first and second season, digimon adventure.

Ermahgersh, it would be Edd, Ed n' Eddy hands down. Reason being is that it's just so cleverly written! It had a great sense of humor which I absolutely love. I remember whistling the theme song every now and then.

It's up there with MLP as one of my absolute favorite shows.

I would probably like to reboot Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends or Dexter's Lab. Both are great shows, but I think I'd prefer to see Dexter's Lab more than Foster's, purely because Foster's is more recent.

Well........ I would reboot Invader Zim. But only if Jhonen Vasquez was able to do whatever he wanted with it. Because, I mean, seriously,  Nick took a lot of things out that I don't understand why.

I would like to see Ed edd n eddy back :D

basically grew up with that show and taught me the fun of JAWBREAKERS!!! (like how MLP taught me about friendship and many other morals :3 )

I would also like to see Digimon as well (not the crappy digimon squad shit! that sucked) more like the first season and Digimon battle frontier would be the kind I want rebooted (and with a more interesting story)

Without a doubt, I would reboot SWAT Kats. That was one of my favorite shows when I was younger and it's pretty disappointing to know it was canceled while there were several episodes still in production.

Aside from that, I'd also like to see a reboot of Voltron. Specifically one that isn't horrible.

I too would like to see what Invader Zim would have been like if Nick just let Jhonen Vasquez do his thing instead of trying to micromanage everything.

Megas XLR. I don't want it changed though, just re-aired. That show was god-tier.

I mean seriously, how many TV shows are about a fat guy who finds a giant robot from the future, turns it into a game console, and beats up giant robots and aliens with it, and destroys the entire state of New Jersey in the crossfire in every episode? None.

This.OH DEAR GOD THIS.

Loved that show to death,it was the greatest thing to ever exist.I heard rumors that they're trying to get it back on air on CN.Hope they're true.

Anyways,I'd love to see this being aired on TV again.

Hmm... I see little point in rebooting television shows because trying to live in your nostalgic past is something I just never understood all that well. Most the people involved with whatever old show you loved probably moved onto bigger and better things and perhaps you just never knew about it.

Like how so many people are hoping on these lame Powerpuff Girls reboot rumors. I don't get why people desperately kling onto a show like that and wish to reboot it if the makers moved on and the show ran its course. Lauren Faust and Craig McCracken moved on to make Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, which is a much loved show. Faust went on to make My Little Pony Friendship is Magic which is one of the few reboots I've seen to be somewhat necessary. And now Faust and McCracken are joining forces once more to make Wander Over Yonder!

---

But still that doesn't answer your question. If I had to pick a show that didn't quite live on as long as it should have and the main creators haven't really moved on to anything substantially better.

Tough one...

Well I'd mostly look at a few cartoons that I feel went down a tad too early.

Chowder is one that many people believe died before its prime since it was just getting good so I'd really go for that one since it only finally grew on me as soon as it went down. The only issue with that is that the series creator C.H. Greenblatt is apparently making some new show called Bad Seeds, but there is no real explanation of this show so I'm not so sure.

The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack is another show in the same boat as Chowder. I only really got into it right before it went down and its a real shame since it took part in this big comeback of Cartoon Network I've been seeing lately. Thurop Van Orman is currently producing Adventure Time though which is a show I'd rather not interfere with since its pretty much the best new age cartoon! haha

Invader Zim is a good candidate for a reboot seeing that the show was canceled in the middle of its 2nd Season pretty abruptly which has really ticked off fans ever since. I feel its a show that was just starting to finally develop before they killed it. It also has a pretty large fanbase for such a small show that is very interested in reviving it either through fans animating unfinished episodes or campaigning to bring it back to Nickelodeon.

With such a large fanbase wanting the show back that ended pretty prematurely, I say Invader Zim is VERY MUCH deserving of a comeback! So I guess Invader Zim is my choice.

^This, so much this, all of this!^

If I had to choose one I would say Invader Zim to. I love that show- even my parents (my mom has T-shirts an buttons of it). To bad it ended though...

If I could have a re-air it'd have to be like every 90's cartoon like Freakazoid, Road Rovers and Bonkers.

To have one rebooted though I would love to see Sonic SatAM redone and finished. It's one of those examples where 90's animation had some of the best and also worst animation in cartoon history and SatAM is borderline between worst and less than average.

Look how far animation has gone in recent years. Imagine Sonic SatAM like that.

i'd personally LOVE to see Samurai Jack rebooted. That series was seriously one of the best cartoons i've ever seen, and it didn't even get a finale or any sort of ending. That show deserved more, it was just so darn epic.

Stop talking about Ed Edd and Eddy as something from your childhood! I was already in college when that started airing... it makes me feel old! >_> LOL

If I could reboot any series I would have to go with Exo Squad.

WTF is an Exo Sqaud you say? Well I'm glad you asked.

Actually now that you mention it, I never got to watch all of the episodes as far I can remember. I can only remember like a couple of episodes (Jack vs The Scotsman will always be my favourite). It never got a finale or an ending? This makes me very sad. ;_;

How many episodes/seasons were there all up?

Courage, the cowardly dog would be nice one to reboot, with some awesome new mosnters and including slenderman.

Just imagine how cool it would be an episode featuring slender man.

Funnily enough, as trailers for the 2009 G.I. Joe movie came out, I thought, "Why can't something like My Little Pony have a cool reboot?" I was thinking in lines of a PG-13 movie, like Transformers and said G.I. Joe, but this series has definitely been a better substitute.

Not quite sure that I'd want a reboot, so to speak. One would be risking losing the goodness of the original series. The only reboots I'd want would be of appealling, poor-quality shows. But I can't think of anything right now.

Series that I would want brought back from the grave would have to be Samurai Jack and Sym-Bionic Titan. They need proper conclusions. In the case of Sym-Bionic Titan, it had so much potential that was cut off too soon. On second thought, bring back everything that was awesome that didn't have a proper ending.

Dexter's Lab, I miss you so much. I'd love for Dexter's Lab to come back, I really would. That show was hilarious, and I always loved watching it.

No that wouldn't be cool at all, the best part of courage is that all of it's monsters were original and not at all copied from anything else.

i know that monsters in courage were original, but i am just talking of it as a first reboot episode.

And i do like the original mosnters too.

I agree with Jokootle, I remember watching Medabots, it really would be interesting seeing a reboot of that show, I'm sure the nicer animation would be amazing, good times were had.

I can second that it seems these days there are plenty of mediocre or bad shows that just don't die like they should, good shows that went stale and good shows that die before their time. Beavis and Butthead was brought back with new episodes last year so I don't see why Samurai Jack and Symbionic Titan shouldn't also be given a chance for a comeback.
