How to Delete Threads?

I can't figure out how to for the life of me... can anypony answer this quick question? Thanks.  (btw I mean my own threads, not other people's of course... as I know you can't do that. XD)

Probably the best thing to do is contact a moderator asking them to lock the thread.

You can't delete threads. You can ask an admin to lock the topic though. No one will be able to reply to your topic anymore. It's the forum's way of 'deleting' topics.

Best you can do is report it, and, given the nature of the topic, they'll decide whether or not to lock that thing up. They don't always do it upon request, though, keep in mind

Hiding' is the staff's way of 'deleting' things, locking is just locking The staff is willing to hide things for people just like we're willing to lock things for them, but in both scenarios you need to have a good reason x) 'Just cause' won't fly.
