movies/tv Moments from "Kids" Movies that scared the living shit out of you as a kid.

You know, those moments from "family" movies that made you shit your pants as a kid and left you with mental scars that lasted for years to come. There are only 2 rules, they had to be Kids movies (at least non-horror movies) and had to be watched at a young age. My personal traumas were the "Large Marge" scene from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and the scene from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? People who have watched the movie know what i am talking about.

The clown dream sequence is the one moment I remember from the Brave Little Toaster.

Just like every other child, I was also scared of clowns.

Actually, the WHOLE MOVIE is kinda scary for any kid to watch today.

It had its share of sad and happy moments as well though.

@@SUPERFOX5,

I'm fifteen and still scared to death of clowns.

My moment of horror? Hm...Oddly enough, in the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Xmas special, the part where Bumble first appears over the mountain and roared always scared me as a kid.

The Heffalumps and Woozles scene from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. And the ending scene where the stuffed Pooh blinked. Scare the Celestia out of me as a kid.

Is anyone not afraid of clowns? I refuse to believe there was ever a point in history where they were considered anything but creepy.

:okiedokielokie: Clowns are awesome. I dunno what's wrong with you people. The clown is meant to be the modern fool/jester. A comedian, even if tacky or in bad taste.

For example.

ANYWAY, The Black Cauldron had some freaky imagery. And have you heard Ruber's bad guy song in Quest For Camelot? That song instilled fear in me. It was like a scary or creepy moment that you get over cuz it's just a show, it really had an affect on how I saw the character.

The scary tunnel scene from willy wonka... I watched this scene in grade 1 and I was secretly crapping my pants in a group of around 50 students that voted to watch this movie. I was the only one that voted for puff the magic dragon...

But yeah, this scene showed up right after a really calm moment with nice relaxing music and imagery. It was also never mentioned again afterwards either, I think its only purpose was to scare the carp out of the audience.

if I remember correctly, it would be the Bear scene from the Disney movie The Fox and the Hound

seriously, I had nightmares for days

Oh yes.............that scene was some scary shit when i was a kid......

OT: Along with the Bear scene from Fox and the Hound.  I want to include the Cave of Wonders scene from Aladdin.  Now that, was scary as hell and haunted my dreams for some time.

And probably a few others that were either already mentioned or I just can't quite remember where they're from.

Such as and not limited to

Scars Death from Lion King

That scene from Who Framed Roger Rabbit that was already mentioned

The clown scene from the Brave little toaster also already mentioned.

And plenty of others.
