gaming Games you wished people still played.

Are we talking multiplayer games? If so I got nothin'. There are plenty of single player games I wish were still relevant in today's gaming world but are sadly gone.

Halo 3's online. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Reach's and especially 4's new Multiplayer modes and such, but Halo 3 was so simple, and I think that's what I loved most about it. ^^

TBH, Halo 3's MM was way too simple, however I truly miss the maps, especially Guardian, Longshore, Sandbox, and Sandtrap

Crysis 3. My friend and I both had copies on the PS3 and loved playing Hunter mode online. Sadly people died away from that game so I sold my copy.

I know a lot of people don't like Bioshock 2, but the multiplayer was fun because it was different. Sadly, people only ever play Team Deathmatch and that's it.

Oh well, it's something that happens with gaming.

Beatles Rockband for the Wii.

It can take up to half an hour to find anybody online now, and it can take even longer to find a full band.

It was thriving when I first got the game, and it took no less than 2-5 minutes to find a full band, but now I just can't be bothered.

Not that I have long to enjoy online on the Wii anyway...

Crysis 3 definitely. Even on PC it's pretty much dead. I guess Black Ops II on PC to a lesser extent, there's around a thousand players, but the league and party game servers are usually dead.

I wish people still played Modern Warfare 2, if only some people didn't ruin it.

There's still a total of 250 people(?) playing it, currently, on the PC. (According to Steam)

However, I'd bet it's only hacked lobbies.

Mega Man Starforce. I got that game a few years back, but even then it was already past its time.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, or at least outside of the first few servers on the server listing, because after those it's practically a ghost town.

Call of Duty World at War. It was my first ever CoD series game, I got it on the same day I got my Xbox 360. It was such a fun game when playing online. I remember there were a lot of people playing it back then. Nowadays it's mostly dead, can't even play all the modes.

And what makes it worse is that it's highly modded and hacked. Not hard to find those lobbies, well based on the last time I played it... I think the game was underrated though, many people have said it's shit.

I went to play it the other day on my PS3 and there was only one server. The opposite team was floating and invincible, and I was the only one on my team. Then I got my butt whooped, ragequit, and went back to playing Fallout 3.

But still WAW > every other COD(even MW2)

SOCOM II:US Navy Seals for the ps2. True they shut the servers down couple of years ago but that game was by far my favorite online shooter

What about all those games that are gonna be affected by the GameSpy shutdown later this month?

Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer(better than GTA online IMO) is going,SOCOM 3 is going,GTA IV's multiplayer is going(not that the MP for IV was good, but still..),MAG(online only FPS)is already gone and many more will  cease to exist in the near future.

Damn shame, some of those games were awesome.

Full list of games affected:http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/04/08/gamespy-shutdown-list-borderlands-halo-battlefield/

Zombie Master, (I know there is a Zombie Master 2 but apparently no-body likes it) there are like only 2 servers and it's a rarity to see a few people playing on one of the servers.

I wish it was 2007 again :(

The first Star Craft. The online or local games were fun! Especially the 'use map settings' games were creative! Too bad Blizzard cancelled the online for it. Atleast you can do local/system link to play. Fun fact: Did you know Star Craft was ported to the Nintendo 64?

Crysis 3. Hunter mode was all sorts of fun. With the panicking and shield throwing and the... shield... throwing. Bought the DLC and went online to find no one playing the new maps. Literally no one.

A little old, I guess, but Alien vs Predator 2.

Sig made by Kyoshi.

Cool things people have said about me:

Never heard of him but I guess just you mentioning him is a good reason not to go anywhere near that name.

(In reference to an author I suggested.)

Batman Arkham Origins. It takes almost 15 minutes to find a match.

Changing the topic, I can't believe Halo Custom Edition is not dead yet.
