Now that season 4 over, is now a good time to give up FiM?

I you ask that because you're getting tired of MLP, yeah, give up on it. Maybe you're just burn out, so, a rest from ponies might do you some good, and see if you come back to it, you shouldn't force these things

Personally, Im kinda burned out from the show. Actually, I havent seen an episode since the one with Maud Pie. But I have still not dropped mlp, nor do I not consider myself a fan. The reason Im not going to give up on it, and the reason why I dont think itll be going away is the community behind it. I still enjoy the fan-work and community so much that atleast personally, no matter what season it is, Ill never drop it.

It doesn't matter if season 4 is over, that's not a good reason to leave.

A good reason is if you're tired of mlp and wanna move on to new things.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it save equistria with its five candy coloured friends and shoot rainbows at bad guys using their necklaces and tiara unless you're celestia

Quoted for truth.

Stepping away from something should happen if it just isn't fun anymore, or you are just tired. In my experience, taking a break can actually refuel you later down the line.

Very excited for season 5. With the team doing mlp fim, I have no doubts that season 5 will be just as good as season 4 or even better.

Im personally so deep down in the mlp fim pit that no ladder can get me up from it, and thats a good thing.

Its not a good reason to give it up.

However if you have something else to do in mind, then go for it. Its not like the show is gong anywhere you can always watch the show whenever you want. :P

If a person is no longer interested in the show then they can go find another that they like. If they were still watching at the end of the season, then were they still interested? What would be the purpose of dropping interest because a season has concluded? I also am not fond of the terminology of 'give up' as if you were talking about drugs or something bad or addictive. If you feel that way about this show then why did you watch it at all?

Well, let's just say the last two episodes Twilight's kingdom has something to do with it!

I think I speak for everyone when I say this:

Season 5 coming in 2015 is a good thing. I think we all need a break from MLP. Too much of something will eventually lead to getting tired of said thing. I will still hang around the forum and watch a few old episodes.

No. First it's way too early to tell. That and i'll likely will stick with it till it ends, i think it's in good hands. They can go anywhere with how the show and characters currently are.

One chapter has ended, another has yet to begin.

Let's go downtown.

Well if it's just the finale, then think about it.  Do you really want to give up on the whole show and the fandom because you didn't like the last two episodes?

I'm not arguing that you should or shouldn't, or making any kind of judgment on whatever your decision is.  But I just have a feeling that if you really were truly burned out and disappointed in the show and fandom, it wouldn't be just because of two episodes.  What were your thoughts on the direction of the series a week ago?

Give it some time, see where your head is in a month or so.

Okay, well the fact that they bring back a G1 villain, but not the most important character of G1, the Human Megan!

okay then, well I don't think its a reason to leave the show, but that's my opinion. It wouldn't make sense bringing her back, she would have to be a pony anyway due to that portal twilight went through in EG. But tirek was in some place I forgot the name of and escaped.

Yes or no. If you're tired of MLP, then drop it. If you're not, then wait for Season 5.

Is this really something you need advice on? If you don't like something anymore, just stop watching it.

I think whether you give up on MLP should depend on a few things.

if you're starting to get tired of it, yeah then by all means quit.

But if MLP is still something that you enjoy and makes you happy, I'd say to stick with it.

I could never quit on MLP with a season 5 on its way. I think theres just too much in store for us with MLP.

Besides, we have to wait close to a year for the next season. Maybe just a long break from MLP is what you need.
