There is this one ending that I nearly cry to every time (and I'm being serious too). It's the ending to The Nightmare Before Christmas ending where Jack and Sally sing and then finally get together. I love it so much :3

The Notebook, Se7en, and Schindler's List all had endings that made be exit in a near suicidal depression. That is how I know a film's ending is great.

Mine is a really old movie. Its called The Man who came to dinner. Its a hilarious black and white movie and the ending was so perfect. It was the best way to end such a strong film. I wont spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but seriously, go buy it on dvd or watch on netflix. Its a wonderful movie. This ending was so perfect and i am really glad i saw this film.

The downfall of the Galactic Empire, the celebration, the reunions and John William's beautifully orchestrated music and choir all make a perfect ending to the greatest film trilogy in cinematic history. Though I will say this.... pretend that douchebag Hayden Christiansen isn't in this scene (Sebestian Shaw, where are you?!)

I don't know if it's my favorite, but the movie Ink had a pretty good ending. It was up on Netflix Instant for a while, but then they took it down and I was sad. If you ever get a chance, though, I highly recommend it.

 

Also, The Penitent Man. Sort of a twist ending, although it wasn't that hard to see it coming. Still very good. Also found on Netflix Instant before they took it down.

 

The moral of the story is, there are a lot of good, independent, not-very-well-known movies on Netflix Instant.

And the first Saw movie, the first time you see it. It's kinda rubbish once you know..but when you don't know, thats some perfect ending that.
