Scootaloo Is Best Filly 578 May 27, 2014 Share May 27, 2014 Nope, I work at a wawa( think along the lines of a Quik-Chek or 7-11) and a movie theater. I don't think I'd be able to handle a fast food job. Way too intense, for me. Facebook: Josh B.
ReverseFaller 2,484 May 27, 2014 Share May 27, 2014 Nope. I may have to work there for a year though. (If it's the only place that'll hire me that is.) Credit for the signature goes to Kyoshi
ravensilvertail 34 May 28, 2014 Author Share May 28, 2014 I used to work in Subway. Why do you ask btw? Tbh McDonalds has a good system for progressing as a worker. I ask because I'm currently working there. I've made one friend. I'm currently doing everything from dishes to fries and cleaning lobby and playplace. Kel_Grym 1,917 May 28, 2014 Share May 28, 2014 Night shift is bull. Day shift always has enough workers to keep things smooth, but everything goes to hell in a hand basket during night shift when it gets busy. Not enough workers, too many customers coming through the front and the back...and they hilariously expect each order to be done in under three minutes. I find myself working board, grill and fries at the same time, because the other two with me are taking orders in the front and back and the manager on duty is either in the office or doing something else. At least most of the time I get the managers that let me smoke outside. Were open 24/7. On Fridays and Saturdays, all the drunks from the clubs come our way. I remember taking orders out to a dozen people, each of em unable to really remember what they ordered and others complaining about when their order was going to be done, while the other workers were bustin their asses off in the back. It shouldn't have been hard to see, we were being overwhelmed. And then their are the fights that break out in the lobby, ever so often. Hilarious. ravensilvertail 34 May 28, 2014 Author Share May 28, 2014 (edited) Night shift was hell because I worked till close. I have worked from 7 until close, 8 until close and twice I had to close and go to work again at 9am. Not a good thing for someone with my medical condition. TBD 17,272 November 28, 2019 Share November 28, 2019 No or any fast food, retails yes. I don't like working in a environment where it's too chaotic and most importantly understaff. Not ever, since I used to work at a Deli and we're understaff, I feel like a one man army there. I don't mind the busyness overall just as long we got enough staffs. ♪ "I practice every day to find some clever lines to say, to make the meaning come through"♪

Splashee 28,599 November 30, 2019 Share November 30, 2019 If you work at McDonald's, how can you not steal like recipes for BigMac etc? How do they keep these secrets from their employees? Blindfold? Also, how much spit are there in an average burger? The flavor is so precise if you know what I mean?
