Did Equestria Girls need a love interest?

I think that he would be better if they 'Involved' him more in the episodes. Not just use him as a 'prop' for the film...

My opinion is:

 

Flash Sentry and Twilight only see themselves in the human world (in Equestria Girls) and this story that Twi liked him at first sight is cliché. I mean, they had never seen in Equestria. These things of "love at first sight" is cliché made by Disney (sorry to say that). In Three's a Crowd, Flash Sentry just appears in a single second of time! I don't like FlashLight (and I will never like). And there is no way of saying that Flash has memories of what he and Twi did in the human world.

 

The fact is that, like almost every protagonist, Twilight will have a partner. And the producers are betting on Flash (I think), but it is obvious that many people are angry about it. But we have to remember that it can take a while to happen. Flash barely had a decent appearance (in the series) and so I think (if this relationship happen) will take some time (You know, we have a entire season to watch... Just in 2015... Geez). And this is why I dislike Flash Sentry.

 

Also: Flash is the typical "Brad" from a high school romance. The fact is:

I agree with the love interest, but I wouldn't hate him for the way he came into the movie. Everyone is going to tackle me but, I like his traits, and the idea of having in a band. And he's basically only in the backround now.
