Cartoon gags in real life?

Some years ago a teacher of mine said that drumming fingers in a wave to a table while holding your head is a common gag that society learned from cartoons, now the question is, is there any other cartoon gag that you saw that become real? Do you unintentionally practice any of them? How would the world be if other cartoon gags like talking with closed eyes, walking ellegantly when moving your arms, jumping and closing your eyes while playing a whistle, etc. were real?

 

PS. I'm not talking about those unsurvivable things like being hitten by a falling anvil or getting an explosive gift, just about people's daily modals and behaviours.

I don't know if it counts, but sticking your tongue to a frozen pole. Yes, it really works.

The world would be a much more dangerous and gory place, where anvils and boulders can fall on you at random, and cars will hit you without warning, guns will fail to discharge at the most inconvienient of times, and you Wouldent know you had no solid earth underneath you until you looked down and fell to your death.

THe only one I can think of at the moment is the bugs bunny turnaround, "duck season....".... It really works in a lot of situations,

Does it count if your tongue gets stuck to an ice cube, and then you rip some skin/flesh off your tongue to get it off? Close enough to the frozen pole.

I see it's like a lot of cases in cartoons when if a character is thinking, the index finger is pointing on the mouth... was it taken from reality?   I haven't seen such in real so far.
