What is the best Christmas present you have ever received?

So, what are your favourite gifts you ever got in previous Christmases? Not ones you know you are getting this Christmas though.

My favourite was my ps3 which my elder brother gave to me. I didn't have a 360 or ps3 at the time so it was a big deal for me! :D he gave me a pretty sizeable amount of games too!

And yourselves?

Best present ever is that I can be part of a community like this. Full of loving and caring people who are always there. No item can match the joy that can be recueved from here. No amount of money can buy this.

It is something special.

I don't really have near as much an interest in Christmas and gifts as I used to, but if I were to pick a physical item that I enjoyed the most I would say my Saitek Yoke/Rudder setup, that nearly completed my PC setup. But in all fairness the best gift is just hanging out with my family while they are happy, the day doesn't make me as happy as them, but yea I don't get many moments with them like on Christmas.

My bestest most favorite gifts in recent years have generally not been Christmas gifts.

Although I guess I'll go with my laptop and previous desktop. They both helped me out a lot. I got a laptop for a graduation present and it messed up becoming completely useless for college. The laptop I got for Christmas was a total lifesaver for the year at university where I commuted. The desktop before couldn't even run videos anymore, and playing any kind of game at any level was impossible and would cause it to crash. So while this new desktop may have had integrated graphics, making playing TS3 no fun whatsoever, I appreciated it fully. I didn't even play TS3 really for a while anyway, as I was still sold on The Sims 2 being the best and that desktop had no trouble running it.

It's not like my new PC built specifically to play TS3 at max levels plays the game perfectly anyway. PC gaming is such a headache!

It's only a headache if you refuse help from people trying to give it......... :okiedokielokie:

My Chihuahua.

Years ago, I really wanted a Chihuahua (Didn't think it was ever gonna happen...but) and I would just make small comments that I really wanted a Chihuahua someday. We already had 2 dogs at this point and I just knew it would never happen. Plus, most of the time, people sell full breed dogs more expensive (Not all, but most) and it was so rare to find any at a decent price.

Well, on Christmas Eve, because we go to my Grandma's every year, there was this half open, wrapped box I was told to open and opened and IT WAS A FREAKING CHIHUAHUA!! That was the BIGGEST surprise of my life. Come to find out, my Grandma and mom went to a woman's house who bred them and sold them for pretty good prices for a full breed dog. Like, all the past Christmases i've had, I sort of expected to get the gift I requested, but that was the biggest shocker of all. Now our Chihuahua is a very happy, young man. He is still healthy, doing fine, friendly (not to other dogs xD) and loves us all dearly.

Oh, please. When did I ever refuse help? I asked for help from The Sims 3 players from the very beginning, to figure out exactly what I needed to run the game perfectly.

When I ran into trouble after I got the PC, I asked for help from plenty of places. The help I got never did solve the problem.

I went into it with an open mind, but got burnt... PC gaming just isn't  worth it for me. I'm just glad that the new The Sims is bad and not worth moving onto, and that I never got into any other PC games, so the headache can end!

Not sure . Maybe my GameCube :P? We played it for a long time and bought many games for it. Eventually the Wii replaced it since GC discs work with the Wii, but it goes to show you that the GC games are still worth playing :).
