Where Would We Be?

So I was browsing this forum tonight when I came upon this thread, and it grabbed my attention. It got me thinking what would have happened had Luna and Celestia had come to Earth 1,000 years ago.

 

But, that also got me thinking another question. What if they hadn't been here for 1,000 years? What if they came more like 100-200 years ago? How would technology change? How would religion change? How would life change?

 

But let's take this a step further, shall we? What if Celestia and Luna brought 100 or so ponies to Earth with her?

 

 

For consistency purposes, this is the scenario, the Princesses come to Earth in 1854. That's about 150 years before our time. What do you think happens?

If Luna and Celestia came to Earth...........mankind would do its "usual" routine.   Confront them, and somewhat tell them in a good way, "what's their purpose here and why?" (Basically, no matter their knowledge or appearance, our sense of superiority will always be running through our minds, to a point where they would chase them off Earth).

Depending on the time of the era, each scenario would be different. In 1854 humans would be powerless before the power of the princesses but they most likely wouldn't want to harm our race, so they would probably back off once confronted. However if in the fact that they do bring a number of ponies with them, humankind could probably see them as peaceful by interacting, instead of two glowing beings yelling at them to except them. Religion would have probably been established by then, and some people might see the princesses as goddesses and convince others of their worship. If all of this happened religion would definitely change giagantically, it would probably be centered on peace and harmony between everyone. Life would be better, in the fact that no one will be mean towards others. Technology would be way more advanced than it is now by the knowledge and guidence of the princesses. :comeatus:
