What instrument would your favorite pony be?

I know this may seem like a strange question, but have you ever really thought of it? ...No? Okay then, just bear with me. For the sake of discussion, I ask that you explain why so others may silently judge your opinion. Kidding! Really though, why not explain your answer? You may find that others share the same opinion and idea. ^^

 

Now, you don't have to do just your favorite pony, but I would like to know what musical instrument you think your favorite would be. Just a tip, but why not base your answer on how you view their personality and such? Could be helpful!

 

Okay, so if you don't know who my favorite pony is by now, then Celestia help you it's Twilight ~Best Pony~ Sparkle. If there was an instrument to represent her, I would think maybe a Grand Piano. First, I was thinking of a Xylophone, but thought that it wasn't good enough for Twilight Sparkle (nothing ever is), but a Grand Piano has so much class and can create a beautiful tone when the notes harmonize, you could say it creates a spark of magic in a piece of music. (See what I did there?)

 

So, now it's your turn bros! What instrument do you think would represent your favorite pony.

I think Rainbow Dash would probably be an electric guitar.

 

She definitely has that cocky rockstar attitude, plus it would make sense given that's what we usually hear when she shows off her 'awesomeness' while flying.

I would have said that Rarity was a harp. Never thought of a harpsichord.

Rainbow Rocks gave Fluttershy a tambourine, and honestly, I think it suits her very well; it sounds quiet and soft, and has a lovely ring to it, like her spirit and voice. Other than that, I think the triangle could work well for her, though that'd probably be pushing it.

Twilight: violin.

 

Reasons: Close to my heart. Adaptable, can be bright or sombre, simple and or showy, and has one of the biggest and most developed repertoires of any classical instrument. An instrument that rewards you if you treat it right and works with you; sort of goes in my mind with Twilight's friendliness.

I think Twilight would be a violin or a chapman stick. A chapman stick is a beautifully sounding stringed instrument.
