Anyways, something weird happened today. Some dumbass smashed my skull in with a sledgehammer. Thankfully, it didn't kill me. PHRASE: Serrated Rabies
I was just sitting here, computer on my lap, reading Hyperbole and a Half, which I mentioned in my earlier entry, when this came into my mind. Rabies are (is?) a virus, not an object, so therefore they cannot be serrated. WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH MY BRAIN?
Ok, first, I should explain what this blog is about. My mind has this weird thing where it will sometimes spontaneously come up with hilarious, random things that have absolutely NOTHING to do with what's going on at the moment. I actually stole the name of this blog from Hyperbole and a Half. Anyway, so these entries will consist of the title saying the context, and then the actual post saying what happened. Like this is today's.

So today was the state-level of the Junior Olympics. My left leg had been hurting in multiple places, so it generated new nervousness in me on top of "Oh shit I'm running to qualify". So I ended up finishing eleventh. Top ten get a medal ( ). Top thirty-five go to regionals.
Yay.
So there is ANOTHER big event next Saturday (I believe it is next Saturday...). Regionals in Spokane, Washington. Top twenty or so qualify for nationals in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Time to step up my game, yo.

Something I've noticed is that the writers seem to be making Rainbow Dash more and more of a bitch as the show goes on. What happened to the good old Rainbow Dash from season 1 who was portrayed as a highly loyal friend, albeit maybe a bit cocky? Ever since season 2, Rainbow Dash's arrogance and rudeness has become increasingly higher (A prime example of this is in the episode "The Mysterious Mare Do Well"). I thought Rainbow Dash was supposed to have learned her lesson about being arrogant, but
First Impressions, is a new segment on my Critique blog where I just give overall, spoiler-free, impressions on something that I just saw that is rather new.
The difference between this and a regular review is that I hardly give myself time to really critically think about certain elements of a show or movie or whatever and its just a quick thing about how I felt about it.

Now what did I think about Season 3's premie
backstory:
I started making this show called fishman and doggybag about one and a half year ago.
The whole thing was me making a video each weekday which usually had something random going on with a punchline at the end. It ran for three weeks and it got fairly popular in my school.
I took a break for three months and after popular demand, i started season 2.

I watched The Crystal Empire Part One and Part Two with my sis this morning, and it was seriously the best two-parter in the whole series. Faust and the rest of the gang did a great job, especially on the dialect, songs, and character design. King Sombra was very well created, Pinkie Pie was even more hilarious than normal, and there was more Rarity singing parts. I really enjoyed it, and if you haven't watched it yet, look it up on Youtube, or something. It's really that great.
