Well, I've said I left due to issues in my life.

Honestly, this is something that I'd love to see.

I love this site a lot, even if I don't see eye-to-eye with mods sometimes.

As long as both sides remain respectful, there's nothing wrong with honest dissent. Heck, Evilshy used to be fairly critical of us in the past, and now he's one of us.

Appreciate the feedback, by the way. It always brings a smile to my face.

The forum as a whole has been very busy - we just wrapped up our most active week in several months in fact. 

From what I've seen of forum roleplays, they can be a bit stop-and-go at times, for a number of reasons... not the least of which would be uncommitted roleplayers that are in over their head.

Like I was, the only time I tried roleplaying here.

They probably thought that it might appeal to little girls.

You make a good point about Rarity's wings - I hadn't even thought of that at all. ^^

I have little doubt that FiM's crew could do a fairly good job with the flutter ponies - moreso if they were to be featured prominently in a two-parter, similar to how the crystal ponies were introduced. Trying to shove the introduction of a new and unique race into a single episode... well... probably wouldn't go too well. x)

I've gotta say - the original Flutterponies in the picture toward the top look significantly cuter than most of what I've seen from the G1 era, which is admittedly not a whole lot. 

Given that we've stumbled upon crystal ponies in the show (albeit significantly different than the early generation equivalents that I've seen) I wonder if there's any chance that something similar to these will appear at some point in FiM? Might be interesting to see what the present production team does with them,  in that case.

Also, I've gotta say - that picture you made of the G4 style Flutterpony concept is very well done. You should consider posting that in the art section of Octavia's Hall for a bit of extra exposure - I think it very easily deserves it.

Interesting stuff so far, at any rate. A lot of fan species seem to veer off into the... slightly silly side of things, to be honest, so something with a bit more thought put into it like this is a welcome change of pace.

No community or fandom is perfect - there will always be stumbling points, and people or events that sometimes bring about a bit of discord and/or chaos.

The best course of action is to simply not give up and give in, and to instead rise above.

Should be interesting to see some stuff inspired by the earlier generations x)

The My Little Pony fandom isn't perfect. It never was - it's no better, and no worse, than just about any other online fandom no matter how many fancy slogans or labels we may give to ourselves.

As stated above, I think you're focusing too much on a particular aspect of the community, and allowing that particular aspect to color the way you view the community as a whole... in addition to that, I think you're probably looking at the past with rose tinted glasses, because we've always had the sort of folks that you're complaining about - it isn't a new phenomenon at all.

If you're still fond of the show, you're still a fan. There's no need to take it any further by debating whether or not a silly made-up label applies to you.

Positive. I am 100% supportive of trans folks, and people with gender identities that fall outside of the usual binary system.

I wish you good luck and success in whatever approach you take to further establishing your gender identity.

In other news some people that enjoy R34 material are not subtle about it. Similarly, it was recently discovered that some people that are involved in fetish communities X, Y, and Z are not similarly not subtle about their interests.

There's nothing new or unusual here. Most people I've met that are into R34 material don't advertise it. They keep it to themselves. Are there exceptions to that rule? Yes - but that's hardly something that is unique to cloppers.

Privately owned forums. Speech is a privilege, not a right.
