I believe that the animators showed a Vinyl no glasses drawing and the eyes were magenta. I don't really like magenta for the simple reason that Vinyl's colour scheme is very catchy, ice streaked hair and pure white body but the magenta eyes don't really stand our like the rest of her colour scheme

Well I would wait for an offical explanation first in those circumstances. There is still hope.

who knows: maybe they will show off Vinyl in the season's last episode with red eyes. i mean, they recognized her name in that commercial ages ago. i'm sure they know just how popular she is and will acknowledge that.
