Im currently in the writeing stages of makeing my new RPG with the RPGMaker program and Id like some feedback on the 3 main characters if possible. What Im looking for here is whether or not these names/backgrounds are already in use or are well known in other Fan works. I dont want to step on any toes Also since I suck at drawing and pony maker is only so powerful I dont quite have pictures yet but im working on that. Name: Mav “Maverick” Foster Race: Earth CM: Initially none Personality: Stalwart, collected, and comically arrogant. He doesn’t like to rush into things but at the same time never shies away from a challenge or adventure. Acting as an antithesis to his friend Ice Mane who will act without thinking, Mav will generally opt for the strategic approach. Although when under pressure he has been known to improvise. Background: He was found on the doorstep of Mr. and Mrs. Foster when he was just a foal and bearing an amulet with three letters “MAV”, thus he was named Mav. Given that he is the oldest pony without a cutie mark that anyone can remember, a lot of less than social ponies have taken to calling him “Maverick” which means “Un-marked”. Of all the ponies there are only two which he can really call his friends, a fellow orphan named Ice Mane who was raised with him and a mare named Dream Catcher who always follows them around. Name: Ice Mane Race: Pegisus CM: Bolt of frozen lightning emitting from a snowflake Personality: Brash, arrogant, and absolutely unable to comprehend limitations, Ice controls winter weather and takes a great pride in what he does. Ice always talks his friend Mav into going places and doing things that most would consider dangerous and reckless. He’s quite competitive as well, he doesn’t lose, he allows you to win. He does however, put his friends above his pride, although he will never admit to it. Background: Long-time friend and fellow orphan to Mav, Ice Mane has little memory of his parents who were both killed when he was young. Growing up he admired the Daring Doo series and swore that one day he too would go on an epic adventure. This lead to him taking a job as a winter weather specialist for Cloudsdale which allows him to travel to exotic lands on occasion. Name: Dream Catcher Race: Unicorn CM: A Native American dream catcher with feathers attached at the rims. Personality: Friendly, aloof, and inquisitive, Dream tends to rarely be mindful of the big picture focusing instead on the task at hand. Her curiosity often gets the better of her in almost every situation. Even in an emergency she can be more concerned with the how and why of it than her own safety. Background: Born in Ponyvill to parents Stargazer and Aura Light, Dream Catcher was fascinated with the unknown, in particular dreams. This curiosity became a full blown obsession when she was visited in a nightmare by Princess Luna. Since then all of her other ambitions have been set aside while she works on her new goal of learning to dreamwalk. She befriended Mav (and by extension Ice Mane) a few years ago in an attempt to understand his unusual lack of a cutie mark. At first the two were annoyed by her following them “like a lost puppy” as they put it but she has since become accepted by them.

I was born and raised a Baptist, though if im really honest with myself I dont consider myself to be part of any one religion. I believe in christ of course but I dont think there is any one true faith in the world today and that they are all diffrent variations of a greater truth. Also I feel I should point out that I view christmas to be a secular holiday, if you look into it you find that it has very little to do with Jesus.

Hello all, I just joined and to be honest, the reason I did was because I cant find anywhere else to ask questions for a fan project im doing, (ill go into details later). Its a FF but not in the traditional medium but none of the other sites I frequent, ie Equestria daily, fimfiction ect. have dedicated forums. I hope you guys are both active and nice.
