If someone had agreed to watch an episode, which one would you choose? I didn't have much time to think so I decided to go with a Rainbow Dash episode and went with May the Best Pet Win since I remembered it being pretty funny, though RD is a bit of a bitch in it... What is the best episode per character and the best "overall" episode where each character gets a decent amount of time on-screen? Should I have just made her watch the very first episode? Interesting question! Twilight Sparkle - I see her on the tactics side of things, finding the best way to "get" the other side, figuring out their weaknesses, analysing intelligence. Part of me also wants to say main off-the-field, at the desk leader, part of me wants to stay away from her being a leader in that way... Rainbow Dash - Leader and fighter of the air-division. Fluttershy - I agree with most others that she'd be a medic. Caring is her calling! Pinkie Pie - She'd be in charge of creating weapons, she'd be the Tony Stark of that war and she might end up being a superhero. Applejack - Leader and fighter of the ground division. Rarity - I see her as the most well-rounded. I think she could do anything really which might make her less of a go-to person for any specific task, but she'd be great at any of them. -
We all have our favourites and of course it's easier to explain away some flaws that our favourites have and we are more impressed and endeared by their qualities... well, that's why they're our favourites I guess! Pinkie Pie is my very favourite pony, she's so energetic and her energy and laughter is contagious, I love that about her! Plus, she's athletic and (I believe) a genius lol

I've missed a lot of it because I haven't even watched until the end yet (and so I wasn't in the middle of any of the controversies) but I still feel people have reasons to get upset with things... Not everyone can agree... I don't think everyone winded up 100% satisfied with the way certain things were dealt with (from what I gathered) so for them especially, they have some reason to anticipate another let down with the movie. For those who ended up being pleasantly surprised by other issues, hopefully they're being more open-minded this time around with the movie. Personally, I don't like the idea of following the trends by making them human and I think a pony movie could've been a huge hit. ALL little girls love ponies even if they don't know MLP:FiM. -

I haven't seen the whole series yet, I'm in the middle of Season 2... I think Secrets of My Excess is my least favourite because I love Spike and I hated seeing him with such a negative personality, all greedy and unlike him. Not the little cutie baby dragon that I love at all!

I feel like we're missing a lot of information about Scootaloo. I understand that she's not related closely to the Mane 6 so it's not as necessary to include her, but with the sisterly relationship she *wants* to have with Rainbow Dash, the story could definitely be developped further so we get a more balanced story on the CMC characters. @Parasprite I'm surprised to find out she's Cheerilee's sister! I didn't get that impression at all! I'm only in the middle of season 2 though... Interesting! -
Pinkie Pie singing IS Pinkie Pie, so I can't help but love her the most, though I also voted for Rarity, she has a very beautiful singing voice.

I think they're all very close in age, 1-2 years difference between them all. I agree with most that Rarity is the oldest. For me Applejack has to be the next oldest... She got her cutie-mark rather late so she must've been one of the oldest to get it. As well, she was coming back to be on the farm when she got it which it a step older than RD and Fluttershy in flight school and Twilight trying to be accepted into school. I don't see Fluttershy's size as an indication that she's older than RD. I think she just grew awkwardly and that helps explain why she couldn't fly so well while RD was small and agile. I have to put Fluttershy as older than Pinkie and since I believe RD and Fluttershy to be less than a year difference, RD is also older than Pinkie. And Pinkie is justinkie, I dont think shes younger just because she lives with others... My final order: Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle

Thanks you guys for the warm welcome. I will go check into some other topics on the forum including the one on brony vs pegasister. PrincessLuna: I haven't gotten attached to her yet. I seem to have missed the episode where she becomes good again because I saw her only in the episode about the night that seemed like Halloween... Forget what they called it... I need to find that first episode, I would've understood the character better... And I'm guessing she's featured past that episode? Is "brohoof"ing something the same as liking it?

I'm NooniePie, but the name is actually inspired by my daughter who is the human version of Pinky Pie. The girl who laughs the most but is also very feisty and quick in her emotions. The one who sees the best in everyone, full of love and joy. The one who says the most awkward things sometimes without realizing it. I started watching MLP after she found it on Netflix and I got addicted a few weeks ago. I threw her a MLP-inspired 6th birthday party and have been watching episodes behind her back. I think I like the show more than she does and I want to buy the toys twice so I can have them too lol What do they call adult female MLP fans? I've heard brony used for women too and also pegasister... What is preferred? Is this board pretty mixed with men and women? I'm looking forward to participating.
