Aw darn it, I guess I can't get my cutie mark in gloating and map holding.

Pinkamena (Pinkie Pie) and Fluttershy's cutie mark story topped it for me. Its a no brainer, really. Pinkie Pie is the total opposite now than she was back then. It was odd to hear that such a bright pony had such a bleak..well, 'laughterless' life. I mean, they didn't really even knew how to smile, they struggled just smiling. To see her go from bleak to bright just seemed so amazing. It built her character tremendously and we understand why she does what she does: the party wasn't what gave her the cutie mark in the end, it was the part that they were actually having fun, smiling, and just basking in life that they never experienced. To see a double meaning to what the cutie mark represents is remarkable. Fluttershy's was amazing because it shows how sheltered she truly was and we understand why she became the way she had. It also gives insight to the pegasi. Not only that, but we seen a sad portion of life she had to endure, but she sees that there is a brighter side, seeing the beauty of the world below her to make her overcome her sheltered Cloudsdale life. Plus, ponies like to state that RD was the one who did the rainboom thus causing the others. I feel that, yes, RD did cause it and in turn, it helped the others, but...if she didn't defend Fluttershy, she wouldn't have done the rainboom. In reality, Fluttershy made us have the ponies we have today. I agree, but wasn't it Fluttershy really the cause? RD wouldn't have done the race if it weren't for Fluttershy being bullied, and if it weren't for RD and the colt pushing past her, causing a spin, she wouldn't have seen the ground~ Karma's amazing, isn't it?

True, though I wish I knew why Suri did what she did. It wasn't ever told.

Don't go that route. DT is much worse than Suri (Or Siri whatever) because she knowingly picked on a specific pony knowing that her flaw was in something she just can't handle. (Being that, in the Tweets, its revealed that Scootaloo IS disabled) She knowingly picked on her for the sake of winning a competition that she wouldn't have possibly known she would have won, being that there are others entering and she didn't see all the acts.Besides, I'm pretty sure telling a pony pretty much that being a pegasus who can't fly isn't a pegasus is much worse than a thieving pony. (Then again, Silver Spoon actually was the one to being up that Mrs.Harshwhinny wouldn't choose her because she can't fly at all, being that pegasus ponies fly...and she was the one that pretty much...said that instead) Though, she's just below DT for me. I mean, she knew that she was going to be nice enough to give her the fabric and targeted her specifically knowing she was better. It shows that she's a teeny bit wiser perhaps on who she chooses, but..DT is probably smarter by a long shot..

To me, I can understand how she felt because I draw and that has happened. I've seen people take credit, fail at it, but take it nonetheless. This would bring her clothing out, which she needs. AJ needs her apples to prosper with her farm since she needs the bits. She was being forceful in the way she had presented herself. (In the song, she got in their faces and they gave noticeable reactions. Plus, she was doing the fear factor.) Many bronies consider it her right to get the bats off her property since they destroyed her property. Rarity needs her ability to create fashion and needs all the items she has, its her livelihood and the way she sustains herself aside from gem finding. Yet, she generously gives what she can away. She did so, and was royally screwed over. It must have taken a ton of time to do what she did to both bring them there and even get the tickets. They rallied to help AJ even through the trouble she had caused. Rarity threw her fit, but isn't that similar to the rant AJ gave in a song? Plus, even then, you have to remember, she's highly emotional and stressed. She must create a new line to replace the line that was stolen. Add this to the mix and OF COURSE she would be that way. They wanted what they were given, but they didn't actually want to help her despite being offered. AJ showed the same frustration that Rarity had, but in a different way. She lashed out because she was angry over the spell not working and at the bats in general. It just seemed to me they were off in this episode when in last episode they rallied eagerly behind AJ with her problem. (When its the same way, in essence.)

Isn't what the Mane 5 doing to Rarity basically taking advantage if her generosity the same way? They were offered to go, by Rarity. They were given the tickets. By Rarity.To repay, while yes, she was being a jerk, they didn't want to help her. In AJ's plight, she stood by her even though she WAS being pushy.You'd think if you'd offer generosity, you'd get ig back regardless of whether your being mean. Even then, she has a reason and a very logical one. Her crap was stolen that she worked hard on. Legit reason for being a bitch. Its similar to AJ's reason. The bats took her apples, she makes income that way, and needed assistance to remove them. No matter how pushy she has been, no matter how forceful, they stood behind her. What is the difference here? Her fabric she even invented was stllen by Suri, causing her stress.Rarity didn't react this way earlier because it wasn't that her clothing was stolen, it was the fact that they used her generosity and basically caused her buisness fail. (Suited for Success) While she did react towards it to the others, regardless they should have tried a bit more to help her. They were the ones who beld her up earlier when she took them on a rendezvous.

Loved the episode but I did not like the whole:Rarity takes full blame. It wasn't just Rarity. They offered services to her if she needed it. When she had asked (and needed it because of the stealing) they ultimately recanted for the musical they wouldn't be going to if it wasn't for Rarity! Twilight asked earlier on "if you need help just call" (or something to the extent) yet they don't get chastised. She needed help and Twilight bluntly asked about their own agenda.Where's the generosity there, guys? Plus-Princess, you have upper hoof. Why does nopony notice that? I mean, seriously, she had a coronation and a guy has the set to tell her off. Other than that, I loved it! I loved the characters and puns. RD just made me laugh and Coco is adorable.

She's good for a bad pony design, of course lol. She reminds me of someone that I knew in real life that would copy answers in school from other people and copy the exact wording.

I mean, it sounds like Fluttershy didn't turn just in that night, she must have had other urges in the morning that we never see, which is also a problem. We never see them eating other things other than apples. There are tomatos, cherries, etc, why just Apples? (Other than the fact there are so many more Apples)I love Bats, the song was catchy and everything. It was the conflict that was making me question. I'm curious whether or not the parasprites attacked other towns yet. Its possible they had attacked other towns and cities all because they released them. They multiple fast, so that makes it even worse. Maybe then Celestia would force Twilight into submission and not allow her to use magic. Seriously, everytime she uses magic (outside the premiers and season finales) she ends up messing with things. That is why you don't give Twilight magic god like powers.

I felt like she lagged (Suri) because there wasn't a real reason to act that way, nor do they show more sympathetic reasons to really understand her. With Trixie, she didn't exactly cause the whole Ursa Minor bit, that was the fans. She also is a show mare with talents with magic shows. It would be very difficult, unless you lie, to do your job when you have ponies who can do magic. It was also because I felt like they judged her and she showed them up for doing so, and that is why people dislike her. (They disrupted her magic show, she showed them not to. If they didn't like it, they could have walked away) In Magic Duel, even then she didn't mean to commit all that. She wanted revenge, but not the way the amulet made her. (Being that it took control) She was sorry for her actions and she knew she was wrong, and she stepped up. (In her first debut, the others were so OOC because of their reactions in the end.) At least she tried to defeat the Ursa Minor. You can't say that for others. Lightning Dust tried so hard and took all her might to do what she had to do. She wanted to desperately prove her worth, but didn't cheat in the process or lie about her abilities. In essence, she was faster than Dash and much more reckless, but she wasn't intending to harm anypony. She does try hard, I can sympathize with that. I can even side with her and say that the other Elements were in the wrong in the end because they weren't supposed to be there in the first place. (Its a Military like camp. Why are there civilians?) While she didn't get kicked out, she is much more able to be sympathized with than Suri was. The only thing that made me see different was her comment to Rarity, which probably was a lie.

I think that's also the main reason why Fluttershy was scared. How would they transport them to a new location? Better yet, where would this new location be? I'm still kind of shocked no one questioned where the Parasprites went to after Pinkie Pie led them to the forest. It wasn't smart to consider a newer location where others might be screwed worse than she herself was considering there might not be an expert in the field they need. Other than that question, its also what they would eat. Other than apples, what do they eat? If Fluttershy was turning, why would she only find lust for apples when she would have felt it the rest of the day? Maybe they just eat apples and then what? If they remove them and 'relocate' somewhere else, then that other place might be screwed over because of the other farmer or her distant relatives. At least, if they did have a place near her farm, she'd monitor them so at least others won't be screwed in the process and they won't end up in the position the Apples would have been in. Plus, it wouldn't screw up nature. Still, I can't help but wonder how screwed up the others might be already....I mean, parasprites that will eat your home? Nopony monitors it? I wonder if that's what Fluttershy wanted to monitor in the first place..

Honestly, I thought Suri was a callback to the iphone's voice thing since its named Suri or something similar. I find her the grown up version of Diamond Tiara, but then again, Suri didn't exactly pick on a disabled pony the way she had done so to win a contest. (Then again, she was all too willing to cheat by copying the same exact clothing and go behind Rarity's back to win. Sounds like they could be sisters.) Am I the only one who imagined Suri to be like the woman from Littlest Petshop? There was a woman that was in a dog contest or something and she was just screaming at her assistant to do everything for her dog or something along those lines. I just was so reminded of her. Even when the assistant was fired. Poor girl. Her voice was annoying, but she's annoying so it didn't change much. I would like to see what happened back in the past when she met Rarity or even get more backstory on her, but that won't happen most likely. I wonder if she cheated the whole time throughout her competitions and was disqualified later? I can't sympathize with her much compared to Lightning Dust or Gilda. I wish I just knew more about her to get some form of sympathy, even if its little. Her assistant is a different story. Other than mindlessly loving the background contestant with the blonde mane (Why was I paying attention to her, I don't even know) I loved seeing Coco Pommel. She was absolutely adorable from her design to her voice and actions. She was like Fluttershy to me...though, I like her more than Fluttershy. (Though Flutterbat is adorable too) I would like to see her more to, I can see her being interesting. I mean, how did they even meet? Was she always this mean to Coco? I mean-even with the way DT acts, she doesn't pick on Silver Spoon. I'm just really happy seeing her, she's just...she's just so adorable. She already has a shipping and a group named after her. (I'm a proud RariCo/Clarity Shipper) What are your thoughts on the new episode antagonists?

Probably the same reason why, whenever we see Rarity being generous, it always backfires and bucks her over for some reason. When she did it, she kind of did a Rarity in a way: She did so to help her friend...but..she gets highly screwed over in the end when she does. The only difference would be that Fluttershy continually shows her kindness. (If you saw the newest episode, you see what I mean. I wouldn't be as generous if I was always getting screwed over for being generous.) Its the same for when Rarity had made dresses but they didn't like them so she remade them but caused..her to be a laughing stock. Fluttershy had been kind enough to be there to aid using her services and much more, but in turn, got turned into Flutterbat effectively worsening the situation. Besides, if Fluttershy wasn't bullied (or pressured to do the Stare) then what would they have done? Their whole plan was based on the premise that Fluttershy had done the stare even when they knew she wasn't comfortable in doing the stare in the first place. What could they possibly do? I was actually hoping the others would be just as sorry, considering that it was just as much their fault as AJ's.

Don't forget the Rainbow! Maybe that's her key or something. McCarthy mentioned that earlier in a tweet. I wonder what Cerulean stands for.

I don't disagree with Applejack. She needed to manage her farm, but the problem was that her urgency seemed a little more forced and she was deemed more forceful and 'pushy'. If you think about it, if there was really another creature causing the farm distress (after the bats were rounded up) wouldn't wasting a day mean crop damage would be worse? Heck, just getting the others would be more time consuming than, lets say, rounding them up without them..? The urgency just seemed forced because you lose more crops in the long term. Its been shown that the area didn't take long, and probably by then Fluttershy learned the language, I suppose. Like you said, you can't do anything just short term. In the short term, things seem very easy, great, but then it could be terrible later. (Where I'm from, I just feel so bad for the deer. They overpopulate and there aren't any predators to end the numbers or cull them off.You get the whole overpopulation and a downfall of the area later on.) The short term solution being that you remove the bats from the area. Now what? You remove the food source through magic. Again, now what? I see that Fluttershy's plan has flaws, yes, but AJ's, over all, would be JUST as bad. You have to wonder why they eat so many apples and what use they have, if you catch my drift. Celestia (or whatever god or goddess) would never create something without a purpose. They have a purpose deeper than what many might think right now.

You can be a bully, but not realize you, in fact are the bully. There are other shows that show the aspect. Some people don't realize how they act. It wouldn't matter whether they intentionally had wanted her to feel bad, but she, in turn, felt bad. I know tons of people who are so headstrong, so determined to make their point across and can come off as a bully. Whether or not its intentional shouldn't be the focus. Whether they wanted to-they did so.

I'm not complaining, I'm voicing an opinion. I'm not even the biggest Fluttershy fan, I don't like her as much as some other ponies might, but many ponies don't notice that she has been bullied, she forgave them, they bully again. Bully: To use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants. It doesn't matter whether or not AJ says that now, they don't really mean that by the next episode. RD made that promise earlier on herself, didn't exactly listen to it, and she's the element of loyalty! They promised that they would listen to her more, but they hadn't either. Point is, who cares whether or not she states she's forgiven in the end. The cycle repeats. In the CMC, this happens with Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle continually states the voice of reason, they apologize for not doing said voice of reason, but they continually disagree with voice of reason. ,<---This is obviously the one ponies tend to notice first. Its the same thing. Fluttershy makes a suggestion, it gets over looked, turns out its correct, she forgives them, and then back to square one. Just note that the mistake AJ had done through this bullying method could have costed more than the orchard. Point is, that this cycle was VERY evident in this episode. So much so it sort of scared me. (The body language they gave out towards their own friend is scary) The cast themselves (Rarity herself) felt bad because they did scare the shat out of her. She says this throughout.
