  1. Dude, we busted up laughing as we made it! It's sooooo ridiculous! But at the same time, we seriously loved doing it.
  2. Hi there, Warbalist here with the first song from the upcoming radio drama adaptation of Fallout: Equestria that I was given the green light to release. This is a cover of Wooden Toaster and Living Tombstone's "Love Me Cheerilee," done by Coconeru, Metal-Mary and myself in the style of an old, Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. Here's a link: And you can follow the project here: http://falloutequestriaradio.tumblr.com/
  3. So much surfing! Glad I live in San Diego!
  4. Ooooo, outlaw country, good choices! Here are some amazing guitar players: Chet, old buddy, we miss you! Albert Lee, one of the nicest people in the music industry:
  5. Thanks for starting this thread! Some of my favorite artists: And you can't say anything about playing country guitar without mentioning Merle Travis, unless you have no idea what you're talking about!
  6. I certainly don't call myself straight edge, but I don't do any recreational drugs except for the rare iced tea or root beer (if a certain brand happens to have caffeine). I don't like the taste of alcohol, and I don't like feeling out of control of my faculties or feeling like I'm wasting time. Besides, most drugs have the side effect of either being a diuretic or just drying out your eyes, and when you have my stupid, recurrent corneal erosion problem, you have to be extra careful. Adrenaline, dopamine and serotonin on the other hand, I like...
  7. Have some more birthday happiness, and thank you for bringing us all together!

  8. Thanks, brah! Let's work together again sometime. Sweet, EQD'd! http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/04/music-this-day-aria-flight-dream-cmc.html
  9. This are a couple of my favorite pieces to play on my lute with my wife. This was back when I had hair! Please forgive the wind and cheesy garb. Second piece is actually "Go Crystal Tears," not "Flow My Tears." Someone's gotta change that... And, if you haven't heard this whole thing, go DO EET NAOW!!!
  10. Hey, everypony! Finally finished up the cover of d.notive's Vicious Lies. Vocalist stopped having bronchitis, yay! Check it out. http://soundcloud.com/warbalist/vicious-lies-euro-metal-cover http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?fac8cbshd7n5g7l
  11. Asking questions of ourselves makes us better. As a matter of fact, isn't asking questions what science and progress are all about?
  12. Dude, same here. Smile just did not want to leave my face. I loved all the new background scenery; they totally gave these episodes an atmosphere set apart from the rest of the season. Very cinematic.
  13. I didn't know there wasn't one, thank you for starting it! These guys are a little harder than normal, but what can you say about a Japanese, progressive, black metal band? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9-WwDWh9fo And just to un-weird you a little bit, have some really sad Pain of Salvation!
  14. This song just punched extreme happiness right into my face!
  15. This song always hurts in the best, possible way!
  16. Wow, no way! What a life, man. Missed by all.
  17. Reaper is cheap, and you can throw VST's in it: http://www.reaper.fm/ And here is an excellent VST resource: http://www.kvraudio.com/ And here are my favorite VST's: http://varietyofsound.wordpress.com/ Go forth, and be awesome.
  18. Wow, Coco, you work far faster than I! Good show, old bean!
  19. The sitar is a cathartic instrument. It takes forever to tune and prepare, so you're in a meditative state by the time you start playing. It's magical. When you do get one, and you can and will, if you want it badly enough, try to find a guru, though depending on where you live, they may be difficult or impossible to find. I got mine when my friends all pitched together and bought it through Lark in the Morning: http://larkinam.com/SitarIndia.html
  20. Speed composition: that has got to be one of the weirder videos I've seen. Sounds like an NES that's about to catch fire! Song is super-catchy, once again.
  21. I just made a post about a Regular Show and MLP crossover, but you beat me to it! http://mlpforums.com/topic/13456-sort-of-a-request/ Oooooooooooooo!!!!!
