    forgive me if this goes somewhere else, but just something i was just thinking about.....it's been shown on more than one occasion that celestia and luna's royal chariot are pulled by pegasi, and what i wanna know is, why in the hay they have pegasi pulling the royal chariot or even have a royal chariot because, hello obvious alert, alicorns have wings of their own?

    it might just be my imagination (i haven't watched an episode with cadence before this one in quite some time) but does anyone else feel like cadence's voice sounds different in this episode?

    i don't like how pinkie acted here.....personally something i would have liked to see is her walking up to big mac with the turkey gobbling contest medal around her neck and then taking the medal off and putting it around big mac's neck, stating that the only reason she won was because big mac lost his voice, and she wants to give him his title back....no bearing on the episode, yes but a kind gesture all the same

    i had an idea for an episode where Twilight goes to Canterlot and she meets one of her BBBFF's instructors from his academy days....said instructor voiced by gunny sergeant R. Lee Ermey (who btw is from MY home town! ....which is in kansas whereas FIM is made in canada.....crap....you have to have canadian citizenship to do voicing in canada.....)

    going to get a LOT of flak for this buuuuut......any episode with rarity as the central character...she's fine any other time but for some reason i just find her boring when the episode revolves around her

    i've been mad at diamond tiara and silver spoon before.....but this time i'm thoroughly DISGUSTED in them! this is the pony equivalent of mocking a kid for being handicapped and quite frankly it makes me sick

    one thing i must say about big mac in this episode, (and if this counts as a crowning moment of heartwarming for the show someone PLEASE add it to tvtropes!) is that the thought of big macintosh, easily the calmest and most stoic member of the apple family, being so openly happy and joyous over the thought of welcoming pinkie into the family is indeed, too sweet to truly put into words
