  1. I cannot contribute any coding to this, but if you need a male simlish voice at any time, feel free to poke me. I'd LOVE to contribute to something like this.
  2. The full and complete Journal is now out and ready for people to look at! Whew. made it in time for halloween.
  3. The Journal of Morning Mist A Choose your own adventure story. Hello, everypony! I have been working on this project for the last several days and I am hoping to have it done and ready by Halloween. It is to be a choose-your-own-adventure series told in the form of journal entries that will be read to the viewer via narrated youtube video. Every journal entry will have 2 choices at the end of it, and every choice leads down a different narrative path centered around a newly discovered island and the mysterious and horrific civilization that once called it home. Mainly, I am just making sure I spread word about this sucker around. It's been a pain in my buttocks to put together and I'm still working on writing out the various paths and routes the viewer can take. Just so people know, I do fanfiction readings on Youtube. I'll have a link to said channel in my signature if anybody feels so inclined to take a look at what I can do.
  4. Well, the cutie mark of my first OC is a red writing qull with a teardrop coming out of the tip instead of ink. He got it when he wrote a poem that emphasized the emotional trauma he was going through at the time that more or less defined him for the rest of his life. My second OC's cutie mark is in the top-right of the following image. He got it when he told a campfire story to his family and some friends on a camping trip. He told the story perfectly, switching voices seamlessly and perfectly, hitting the narration and character vocals right on the head every time. Tone Shift, the 2nd OC, is more in line with how I am now than my first OC. That is a question I ask myself a lot, surprisingly. I came up with it in, like, 2008? 2009? I don't remember how I did it back then; I was a pre-teen at the time and I just slapped some syllables together to come up with a name, I guess. I mean, it stuck pretty nicely and even earned me my preferred nickname of SJ among my closer friends, so I'm not complaining.
  5. The jar of peanut butter. Every time. Oh, starting hard, eh? I usually don't listen to mainstream music, so I don't have a commonly recognizable answer. Plus I have two different primary 'modes,' as it were. Either 'Goofy whack-job dork' or 'depressed and pessimistic recluse.' So, I'd probably have a different 'song' for each of those modes. The depressed mode would probably be one of the following: HOWEVER, for something that is related to my goofy mode, I'd probably have to say something like one of these would fit the bill: You asked for one song, you got four. Congradulations.
  6. Yeah, I've never done one of these things before and my OCs are usually reserved for specific things like Fanfics or RPs. I don't really know what to do here; never made one of these things before, so... yeah. Ask me stuff. Ask me stuff and I shall attempt to answer in a way that makes sense. Though it is important to note that the 'making sense' part is not a gaurantee. I'm kind of an immeasurable dork.
  7. I definately enjoyed this episode. Thus far it is probably my favorite one of the season. Mostly due to that awesome little bit in Starlight's mind with Daybreaker. Hell, I made a video about that which isn't pulically visible yet (to avoid spoiling others who stick to the U.S releases.) I had fun, this much I know.
  8. I'm single mostly due to being shy as hell in person and I often times come off as blunt or as a rude jerk on the internet. I have strong opinions, am very intoverted and I work from home.
  9. Just took some inspiration a friend of mine said and, well... It is unlikely that I am sorry.
  10. @@gamecubeguy214, No, not King DeDeDe. Since this thread has like, no traction, I'll just say it; I got the base sounds from my cat.
  11. I recently made a collection of 'creature' sounds, and I would like you magnificent pone pones to guess what I used as a source sound effect to make the sound file. It's a dumb idea, but honestly, I'm just curious to see if people can guess where I get the bases for some of my crazy files from. Anyways, audio file is right HERE! Soundcloud link.
  12. Woodbird, as I called it when I first found it as a little kid on a beach somewhere. Found a piece of wood on a beach that looked remarkably like a bird to my young eyes, so I took it home, named it Woodbird and got waaaaay too emotionally invested in the silly thing.
  13. I don't update my status very much, do I?

  14. A couple of videos thrown together by me, each one made on a whim.
  15. @@crispy fries, "All items will be taken for processing and examination when we reach the rooms. I will admit, I agree with you on that front. We have been getting rather relaxed these last few years, more so than I would like. But there isn't much I can do about it at my rank." The soldier said, before the elevator 'dinged' and the doors slid open.
  16. @@crispy fries, The soldier nodded. "Yeah, the stains are gone. Hold up, we're at the elevators." The soldier came to a brief stop as he pushed the call elevator button on the wall. They were in a far narrower hallway now with a lower ceiling. Solar flare looked to the soldier with a curious glint. "So, uh, are we gonna be given ships before we leave? You know, so we can fly out of here?" "Negative, kiddo. Once questioning and analysis of the wreckage is complete you and the other survivors will be given a ride to Equis aboard the 'Reliable,' an old and surprisingly sturdy cargo freighter that was once used to transport highly explosive materials safely. Details are still being worked out, but there should be plenty of room on board and additional protection from a few Fighter wings." The door to the elevator let out a beep and slid open.
  17. @@crispy fries, The soldier glanced back. "Much to my dismay, yes. We get complaints about it from time to time, but we just don't have enough funds to add an additional module to the station for better arrangements... Just one of the many 'perks' of working for the interstellar navy, I suppose."
  18. @@crispy fries, @@CP3_P0n3, "What, we playing intro's without me?" Flare chuckled slightly before thumping a hoof against his chest "Name's Solar Flare. I do freelance work, usually work that requires a star ship pilot." He gave a rather large grin before turning his eyes to the pony with the large bag. @@Colenso Rivers, "And what about you? Are you going to get in on the naming party?" Flare asked cheerfully.
  19. @@crispy fries, Solar flare peered over at the hunk of destroyed metal and plastic from where he was and let out an impressed whistle. "If that was a camera, it sure isn't now." He looked over at the mare who had asked for the camera in the first place and gave an apologetic shrug.
  20. @@crispy fries, @@Colenso Rivers, Flare looked towards Redwood with an impressed expression. "Ex-Navy, eh?" He didn't say anything else as the wounded were ushered away and a pony, a unicorn, in the uniform of the officer in charge of the station, made his approach. "Colonel Northstar is, at present, planetside on Prism attending an important meeting. Now, then... We'll keep you here for at the very most 24 hours, but probably less. We just need enough time to ask each of you some questions so we can get a better picture of what happened out there." The unicorn turned his attention back to some other navy ponies behind him. "Escort them to their temporary quarters."
  21. @@crispy fries, "Don't go cussing up a storm now." Solar Flare quipped playfully, smiling over at the mare as he proceeded down the ramp a few seconds later. He paused to take the view of the docking bay. There were catwalks overhead with navy ponies trotting to and from various destinations. In front of the survivors was a small group of medical ponies along with a group of armed guards. The medical ponies approached those few among the survivors with the poorly patched up injuries to get a closer look.
  22. Solar flare tapped at his chin silently, no doubt just as confused as everypony else here about the attack... It had all happened so fast. One second everything was going smoothly, the next one of the escort fighters was hit by a missile and crashed into the side of the transport vessel, taking out it's shields just like that. Then all hell broke lose with a dogfight breaing out outside and a lot of firepower hitting the transport. It only took the attackers a few minutes to completely wipe out the escort and wipe out almost the entirety of the transport vessel. It was a good thing they made it to their escape pods when they did... "Alright, we're docked. Everypony please proceed out of the freighter in an orderly fashion and do as the navy personnel ask. I'll open the loading ramp for you." The pilot called back from the cockpit. "Alright, thanks." Solar flare replied, wincing slightly at the volume of his own voice, despite trying not to be too loud about it.
