This is something that's been on my mind. Is Celestia really that good of a leader? For one, when NMM is about to come back and thus threaten her subjects what does she do? Put all her hope that her student will first off, realize the whole NMM thing (and the day before no less) then just tells her to go to Ponyville and make friends. Okay, what had Twilight NOT been able to make friends? What if she had but she made 3 or 5? Either way things would've been messed up? Same with all the other badies, let's let my subjects do all the work and put their lives in jeopardy even though I have highly trained royal soldiers/guards! Also, is it just me or has Celestias "goddessness" kind of puttered out? When I first watched I thought Celestia was very wise, mysterious and all-powerful, but as of the end of S4 she definitely, at least to me, seems more and more of a "background" character that really isn't all that useful. Just my thoughts.

I have always been curious, considering there is a lot more to the MLP world than Equestria is it that they are the most powerful nation, ala the U.S or are does it seem to be the biggest/most powerful since Equestria is the focus? Since we only see stories regarding MLP in the land of Equestria I have been curious if, indeed in all of the WORLD of the MLP universe if indeed Equestria is the most powerful/prosperous out of all the nations or if it just seems that way due to the show mostly focusing on it. When it comes to most of the villains they state it's most dangerous/threatening to Equestria rather than the world.

I liked Digis early reviews, but in S4 he seemed to, how shall we say, go off the deep end a bit? Even with his explanation I still think his new OC is in bad taste. That being said, I LOVE DRWolf001! He by far has the most fair reviews I think. And I love all his other videos as well.

Hmm...How do you feel about Rarity? Yeah, I totally understand this. Especially about the women being more inclined to care and such. While of course there are bad women, I really don't understand why so many men have a hard time acknowledging when other men behave badly or when generally men are worse at something. There was a thread on another forum that talked about car insurance and lots of the men were complaining how unfair it is guys have to pay more, yet study after study has shown that men are generally worse drivers and cause the most wrecks. Yet the guys kept trying to argue against it and some pulled up some obscure and shady "statistics" trying to say women are worse than men. Not to mention I hear lots of "women driver" jokes.

Interesting responses. I forgot to add, one thing I HATE is when ever I have tried to defend things from a females pov guys will try to shut me and other guys that do the same by saying "Don't be a white knight". I find it extremely sad how a guy taking a woman's side is seen in such a negative light. I have also noticed in other forums when women talk about women issues guys invariably come in and hijack the thread trying to make it their issue or make it seem as if guys have it as bad, if not worse than women. I always end up feeling ashamed to be a man when men come in to topics about "rape culture" and the like. The vast majority of their responses are always so disgraceful. EDIT: One other thing, I recently got a MLP t shirt and my friend said I shouldn't wear it because I could get beat up for it. How sad is that?

Now, I can understand if it's stereotypically girly why many guys (and women for the matter) may not be interested in it, but it has amazed me how many guys I have known that have just outright dismissed even watching a show/movie no matter its subject matter if it has a female lead or is primarily composed of females. For example, I was watching the show "Haven" which has the main protagonist as a female FBI agent and my friend saw it and said "Dude, the main character is a chick, why would you watch it?". I tried to explain to him how good the show was but he found having a female lead was too off putting. Another time, I forgot what it was but a friend recommended an anime that was good but stipulated with "The only problem is it mostly has girl characters". The first aforementioned friend won't even play video games where you play as a female and makes fun of me for usually making female characters in games such as MMOs and such. Mainly because I just find it more interesting to play as the stereotypical tough guy dude. This is to say nothing about MLP which just by the name most guys dismiss as "just girly crap". I don't get it. Now admittedly as a guy I am quite different than other guys. For one, I have never bought into the stereotypical "macho" and "masculine" stuff to much. Also, I for one genuinely love hearing what females have to say. I find it quite intriguing hearing things from a females point of view and find how generally different their interests as well as sameness to men very interesting. I am even part of some female-dominated forums because of it. Of course, guys have said I am "gay" and the like because of it. It's really disheartening. Again, I can understand guys just not wanting to seek out and actively involve themselves in "female things" but what I don't get is why, so often, if any kind of female thing/activity is brought up so many guys like to joke or make fun of it as if it is something lesser than what men like. Men certainly don't have an issue with women getting involved in "male stuff". I recently watched a documentary called Missrepresentation which I found quite sad. The prevailing belief is women will go see movies about men but men won't see movies about women. But sadly from what I have seen being around lots of guys it seems to be quite accurate unfortunately. I actually LOVE watching movies with tough bad-ass chicks and am tired of the damsel in distress/super macho guy cliche. Anywhoo, this is just something that's been on my mind and wanted some thoughts and opinions

As the topic says, would you like to be able to erase your memory of MLP so you could watch it fresh again? Sometimes I do, I have re-watched S1, 2 and 3 so much I wish I could watch them with a blank slate again.

If they came to our world and were to interact with real life Ponies how do you think they would react?

One thing I am curious about: When Tirek was going all around Equestria stealing the essence of all the Ponies was it just the adults or did he take the essence of the fillies too? It only showed him taking from the adults but I am sure it would've been considered inappropriate to see him take the fillies as well.

I will say I do think AotD and EPsK are better songs but I don't find this to far behind.

During Shining Armor and Candances wedding you can see they put theirs on their horns. Granted you don't see them wearing them again so it could be unlike Humans ponies simply only wear them during special occasions. But even so it got me thinking, how do EP and pegasi wear them?

Say the Mane Six were permanently transported to our world and had no way back, which would have the easiest time adjusting and which would have the hardest? For me, I think Rarity would have the easiest time, she would fit right in with some clothes designer and I think would end up doing pretty well, closely tied by Rainbow Dash since she's all about being tough and strong and can defend herself pretty well. As for the hardest, I think Fluttershy would have the hardest time adjusting to all the violence and overall hatred in our world. She'd probably become a virtual hermit hardly ever leaving her residence.

If, god forbid, something were to happen to one of the VA (all of which are very good and talented), how would they go about finding someone to replace them? Do you think it would even be possible to find another VA that sounded even close to the original?

What are some times in your life where you have applied lessons/morals from the show in your life? The most recent one for me is taking the lesson from "it ain't easy being breezy". A friend of mine came to stay with me in my apt, he is going through a divorce and has had trouble getting a job but finally got one. At first he didn't pay rent but helped out, but after awhile he stopped doing that;' as well as eating my food but not buying groceries. I tried talking to him but he kept making bad decisions such as getting a credit card and maxing it out instead of helping with rent despite living with me. Finally, after 3 months, enough was enough and I had to tell him to leave. He tried to make excuses saying "Oh, I am 2 grand in debt, but once I pay it off I will help" and "If I leave I can't go back home". But regardless, I knew that if I was not firm he'd still be here and still in debt and not paying rent or helping around the apt, so I said sorry but you will have to find somewhere else to stay. Eventually he was able to move in with another one of his friends. So the moral/lesson in "it ain't easy being breezy" really resonated with me. Much as it sucks he won't ever be more responsible so long as I or others continue to give him free roam and board and he is forced to face facts and be more responsible.
