  1. I've talked about this before, but I always just found Rarity to be a well-written and well-developed character in spite of being based on a pretty typical trope. I guess this could be said for all the main characters to be fair, but I feel it really works in Rarity's case in that she's pretty much based off of the "girly girl" trope yet still manages to be a strong character and just herself. She was dedicated to her work, but was willing to share it with others. To be honest Rarity as a character in retrospect was just pretty inspirational to me. I kind of feel like, looking into how she was written, she just felt like herself, and that made me feel more confident in feeling like a softer, more effeminate male before realizing I was trans.
  2. oh yeah i watched the hazbin hotel pilot and the first few episodes of helluva boss

good stuff, wish there was more tho

  3. Some thoughts: -I'm happy to see Fall Guys being ported to the Switch, have the game on PC and it's pretty fun. -I'm somewhat interested in World's End Club as a fan of sidescrollers and narrative-heavy indie games. -Skyward Sword HD looks neat, I'm glad it's being re-released and playable without motion controls, but at the same time, $60 for a 10 year old game... seriously? -Splatoon 3 looks interesting

They better at least make the Stamina Gauge last longer -- e.g., Breath Of The Wild's version.

  5. Super Mario World was honestly just a game that really made an impact on me and has definitely held up well even now. It's the kind of game I can just always go back to and replay and in some ways I've grown more appreciation towards it's design and structure in general. Yoshi's Island isn't too far behind though. I also remember playing the shit out of the classic Sonic games, particularly 2, on the DS via the Classic Collection so there's that too.

  8. I'd probably say I'm more interested in the Xbox Series X at the moment. I'd at least say I'm interested in the sheer amount of power in the system plus features like backwards compatibility and Game Pass, and honestly I don't really feel many of the PS4's exclusive titles really appealed to me and so far there hasn't really been anything on the PS5 that has blown me away either. Course, it's still early on so that could change. Ultimately though I'm not really planning to get either system at the moment - more of a Switch and PC person in general, plus got an Xbox One X fairly recently (and even if I was planning to I most likely wouldn't be able to lol). Ultimately though I'd just say look into both consoles and see what features and games interest you more.
  9. Are there any Thomas and Friends fans here who have heard about the reboot? It's um... yeah...

  10. ngl MLP:FiM is probably my favorite period but I think that's to be expected here. Other than that, my other favorites include of Aggretsuko, Steven Universe + Future, S1-5 and 17-21 of Thomas and Friends and S1-10 of The Simpsons. Also started watching Animaniacs (1993) after watching through the first season of the reboot and I'd probably say both are up there as well now.
  11. Honestly Reddit is bad but I use it anyway.
  12. I mean, it was the most popular Windows version for a pretty long time and I don't feel like a lot of people really care enough to upgrade for one reason or another. To be honest I would downgrade back to it from 10 if I wasn't worried about software/hardware support and security updates.
  13. I was born in the wrong generation, why couldn't I have grown up being a caveman in the Stone Age smh

  14. I did not care for The Witcher 3
  15. Star vs the Forces of Evil has always been a show I wanted to enjoy but could just never really get into. Maybe I'll give it another shot one day but I feel like there's a lot of concepts with the show I like yet it was just never really that interesting to me.
  16. In addition to this I'd also say Undertale (preferably the Pacifist Run though) and Night in the Woods, both narrative-based games I just really enjoy going back to a lot that honestly make me want to play more narrative-based games.
  17. I finished Ori and the Blind Forest at the end of the year. Honestly an amazing narrative-based Metroidvania sort of game that was challenging and fun all the way through. Really liked the art style too. Want to get around to Will of the Wisps at some point.
  18. I got spoiled on what happened in the second-to-last Steven Universe: Future episode because of YouTube recommendations talking about rumors and it actually kind of pissed me off. I also sort of spoiled the part of Doki Doki Literature Club because of a SiIvaGunner video but in retrospect it was kind of my own fault that time lol
  19. Stay safe, everyone.

  20. Favorite video games are probably Undertale, Night in the Woods and Overwatch. I don't really play much card or board games nowadays, but Cards Against Humanity is pretty fun (and hilarious) with my brother, and growing up I really liked "Sorry!" for some reason. I think the troll in me just liked kicking people back to start when I got the chance
  21. Not a food or consumable in general but the Nintendo Switch cartridges. The reverse psychology got to me and right after getting the system and a couple games I tasted the cartridge after seeing all the posts about it
