  1. I know episode synopses tend to not be 100% true to the episode, but if we assume it is for this episode, I don't think Trixie will do anything too unforgivable or evil. Maybe she'll be a bother and pull a few jerk moves (such as closing the door on Twilight's face or something), but nothing that indicates an antagonist. The synopses describes Trixie as a "formerly bad pony." The key word here being formerly, which implies that Trixie did change legitimately at the end of Magic Duel. Maybe she's still a jerk, but definitely not a villain.
  2. In the wise words of Pinkie Pie.. "And you call yourself the Princess of Friendship!"
  3. I have no idea what those are. I'll go with Gearbox because it sounds cooler. Ninjas or pirates?
  4. I doubt she thinks she's more powerful. The way she says princess, I think it's more of a jealousy thing. The title No Second Prance worries me, because it makes me think they're going to leave off on a bad note. But I would absolutely love it if Starlight made a friend outside of the Mane Six and Spike (I don't count Sunburst because they were just rekindling an existing friendship). I'm also not sure why Twilight would keep Starlight from Trixie. I mean, if she forgave Starlight of all ponies, what makes Trixie any different?
  5. We've still been waiting six years for an episode called "One Trick Pony." Get on it, writers!
  6. I can play the basics of the piano. What instrument would you like to be able to play?
  7. Yes yes yes yes yes!!! I'm pumped! Super pumped! Very pumped! Trixie isn't the highlight of that teaser for me, though. It's Starlight's giddiness about making a friend. X3
  8. What is/are your favorite episode title(s) of the show? Whether because it's clever, rolls off the tongue, makes you chuckle, or whatever, I'm interested in hearing some of your favorites. For me, one of my favorites that comes instantly to mind is "Filli Vanilli." I knew it was probably a reference, but I just didn't get it for another couple of years. I knew it was probably a reference to a singer or band, but I didn't think much more into it. Turns out it was based on the duo Milli Vanilli, two famous singers who were revealed to be frauds when they were caught lip-syncing onstage when their song started skipping. And, if you know the plot of the episode, then the reference makes a lot more sense. Plus I love puns. How about you guys?
  9. Yes, this is an incorrect answer. Has my paradox overloaded your robot mind yet?
  10. I haven't.. worked.. yet.. Sad, I know. How much apple could an Applejack jack if an Applejack could jack apples?
  11. I'm excited! :3 (Also, I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence or not but you have a similar username to one of my favorite writers. Did you write the Secret Life of Rarity series, by any chance? I read the whole thing and I loved it! )
  12. I love music like this. It's powerful and each note hangs on. Great work! I'd love to hear more of your stuff. :3
  13. Obi-Wan Kepony What's another pony pun on a Star Wars term?
  14. As in favorite food or favorite thing to cook? My favorites foods are anything spicy, especially tacos and buffalo wings. I can't really cook all that much, though making sunny side up eggs is somewhat enjoyable. What is your preferred method of learning?
  15. I hear what everyone is saying about Marble, but here's my take on it as someone who was very similar at one point: We have to remember that in that particular episode, she was meeting a completely new and different group of ponies. Some people are naturally extremely shy and quiet in those situations. I remember years back that I wouldn't utter a word and I'd just try and hang back. However, when I'm with people I'm very familiar with there'd be a noticeable difference. I know I'm only going off of assumptions, but it's possible that she has her own quirks and personality when she's in a more preferred laid back environment with her family. A lot of people compare her to Fluttershy, so let's take a look at that. On her own, or with the Mane Six or even Discord, she may show some semblance of her shy self, but she has her own voice. She's not constantly hanging back and refusing to speak, she has a personality besides "shy and meek." It may very well be the same case for Marble. The writers intentionally pushed the shy trope with her, but an effective writer (which the show has many of) could effectively show other sides to her while still having it seem natural. I'd agree Limestone deserves an episode before Marble, but otherwise Marble should still be given a chance. I know I'm just speaking from my experience, but many things resonated with me when I saw her, from her body posture to her reactions.
  16. I've watched A Very Minty Christmas, but that's about it. It was definitely no G4, and the ponies were.. interesting to say the least. Except for Minty, she was the only character I actually legitimately enjoyed. I would not mind a G4 incarnation of her sometime. What was the worst "sinking feeling" you've ever experienced?
  17. You.. I like you very much, kind sir.
  18. I've... never actually seen or read Harry Potter. I took the test, so apparently I'm Fluffle Puff Hufflepuff. And literally only 1 point behind that is Ravenclaw. Yay?

    request shop Sig shop :3

Your work is wonderful! I've had this sig for the 2 years I've been here, so I guess it probably is time for a bit of switch, huh? When possible, can you make a sig with good Starlight on one side with a happier shade of green for the background and evil Starlight on the other side with a more malicious shade of green? And text that says "A leaf turned will repair bridges burned" in the center? Thanks! :3
  20. Minuette is in this picture but she's not an option on the poll.. BLASPHEMY!!! It's hard to choose a favorite character because I have favorites in different categories and for different reasons. ;-; Although Minuette is definitely high up there so I'm going to say her.
  21. I can definitely see the concern warranted with this episode.. but personally, I'm content. Know why? That right there is a Season 1-Season 2 synopsis. Nothing big or fancy, no extravagant location or big secondary character.. just a normal day in Ponyville with some members of the Mane Six. This is something we haven't seen in years. Nice old pony shenanigans instead of an episode trying to be greater than the ones before it. It'll be a nice breath of fresh air for me.
  22. I have not. What's something you have not done yet in life that you really want to do?
  23. Oh I totally agree. I'm just giving them the benefit of the doubt currently because I can see the good side to the team. Plus, I think Rainbow will have a positive influence on the team from within. I'm just hoping the teasing doesn't come from Spitfire or Soarin' or anything like that. But, they've been on pretty good terms with Dash and although they've had their issues I can't see them antagonizing her. I think it will probably be a member we haven't met before. I actually feel like the Wonderbolts (that we know) may stick up for her after finding out.. unless they also play along. Actually, I don't think we've had a lesson regarding making offensive jokes at the expense of others. That while someone may laugh a joke off, it may actually dig at them on the inside. If they're going to go the Wonderbolts being a part of it route, this is the lesson I hope they go for.
