  1. Ooh,ooh, black forest! With buttercream frosting! Yum! Which MLP moment sent chills down your spine due to how awesome it was?
  2. Well, Pi gives us an excuse to eat pie on March 14th so I'm all for it! Favorite type of pie?
  3. Okay, I'm not denying this and I know MLP will have to end someday, but this just bummed me out. Better to fade out a legend than live on stretched out until worn thin, I guess. Hopefully we can get one more season out of it, though. There are still so many untold stories, unexplored places, and characters who haven't been utilized to their full potential; plus I for one have still been enjoying this season so far, which I know doesn't ring true for everybody but still, I'm still having a good time.
  4. I'm not too concerned about the new writer thingymabobber. Plus the preview is vague enough that it doesn't give much of an insight onto how the writing will be, so for all we know it could be astounding. Although, admittedly I do wish that Rainbow's first episode as a Wonder Bolt would be a bit more honorable and happy for her. I know happy, problem-free plots aren't typically good stories but I feel it would have been nice for this one. There still could be other problems, but I wish this was Rainbow at her best considering this was her lifelong dream after all.
  5. I enjoy many, if not all of the songs from Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games. However, "Helping Twilight Win the Crown" is honestly the only song from the first movie that I can remember. I know there were others, but I only have vague and hazy memories of them. So yeah, personally I'm not too big a fan of the songs of the first movie, but I love love LOVE all the others!
  6. I feel a lot of love already goes out to Chrysalis and Sombra, which I'm fine with, but I feel there are others who deserve the spotlight just as much if not more. I always go back to the Flim Flam Brothers and Iron Will (I don't technically count Iron Will as a villain, but he was a semi-antagonist in his episode). The Brothers and Iron Will are both just characters trying to make their business grow the only way they know how. There's nothing inherently evil about them. Although, having seen the Flim Flam Brothers return once, I want to give them another shot because Leap of Faith wasn't exactly my favorite episode. I don't think they should be reformed per se, but I'd like to see an interaction between them and some other characters that doesn't involve swindling. Maybe see what they're like when they're not on the job.
  7. I feel the average is different. Back then, or at least when I was younger (I'm 18 right now) there were plenty of enjoyable cartoons. Fairly Odd Parents, Teen Titans, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, Lilo and Stitch, etc. But for the most part, none of them had a huge overarching story that really drew you in. In terms of individual episodes, they were great to watch, but if you looked at the big picture they weren't anything too special. Now we have what are, in my opinion, garbage shows such as the majority of Nick's current programming, the Powerpuff Girls reboot, etc. But there are more gems now that really immerse you into the universe and have very talented and recognizable staff working on them, such as MLP, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Star vs the Forces of Evil (which I haven't seen but I hear is really great). So, I feel there are a lot more cartoons that are being produces that are less enjoyable, but at the same time there are these absolutely amazing cartoons that come out every once in a while. Also, we're older now, so what may have been enjoyable to us as kids isn't typically applicable anymore. It's difficult to see it from a child's perspective now.
  8. Well, I personally don't enjoy them, but there are definitely others who do. Am I the only one who wants more Twinkleshine, Lemon Hearts, and Minuette hanging out with Twilight?
  9. For most of the emotional moments I can keep it together compared to when I first saw them. Though, there are still a few instances that get to me: Magical Mystery Cure, Brotherhooves Social, and Crusaders of the Lost Mark (although technically these last two are still relatively fresh). There are some other moments, but these are the three biggest for me.
  10. I am expecting so many references to Gordon Ramsay, don't let me down! Another Rarity/Pinkie episode? I'm down. We've gotten some good AJ/Pinkie episodes, it's about time Pinkie starts sharing the wealth. I'm very excited for this episode.
  11. Well, back before I was a brony in 2012, I was able to recognize a picture of Rainbow Dash as being a character from "My Little Pony." I didn't really know specifically about Friendship is Magic, though. I just knew it was a toyline or something. I didn't even know bronies were a thing back then. Although, at this point in time, FiM has gotten a lot more exposure, wanted or not, so I think they'd be much more recognizable nowadays.
  12. In my own personal opinion, I think Season 5 has introduced the best batch of new characters (even if some of them will probably only have one episode) since season 1. A lot of them are very relatable and enjoyable, and I'd go as far as to say that some of these new characters are even better than the likes of many veteran characters as well. Of course, this is my subjective opinion. It's really only up to you to decide whether or not it's worth your time.

Sorry, didn't realize it didn't work. I think this one should work fine, though: https://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/serene-sanguine-r9364 And don't stress about it. Feel free to do this whenever you get the chance. Take care of what's important to you first.
  14. I know that's what you said, but you did also say you want these new characters to be as important, if not more important than the Mane Six. That would be pretty difficult considering they're the Avengers of Equestria. It'd be like Marvel introducing a new team that's on the same footing as the Avengers or even more influential/important. They have sub-groups, like the X-Men for example. But the X-Men definitely aren't on the same level as the Avengers. Introducing a group more important than the Mane Six would be like establishing a new Avengers. I just don't think it'd be very believable or help in giving credibility to the Elements.
  15. Actually, that works against the new cast being as important or more important than the Mane Six. It's kinda hard to imagine a more important role than the Elements of Harmony without over blowing it into something improbable and overexaggerrated. The Elements would either have to transfer or have no bearing on the story.. then again even in the show now the Elements are absolutely useless and no longer have a role (the artifacts thenselves, not what they stand for).
  16. So a Power Rangers type deal where the Elements are passed onto a new batch of ponies? And we get see the CMC as adults and Flurry Heart in her teens? The Mane Six appear every now and again with mentor roles to the new Elements? I would actually like this very much. Maybe have it set in a new town for a change of pace?
  17. Start the best darn one-man volleyball team this side of the galaxy has ever seen. Care to take me on?
  18. Because I see you around often and your username is fun to say. :3
  19. I don't necessarily dislike it, but I'm not much of a fan of extremely vibrant coloros. I'm more of a purple kinda guy. Same.
  20. I'd be pissed if I were Celestia too. For hundreds (possibly thousands) of years, I've been sitting on a throne all day, doing boring princess stuff. I get hundreds of subjects each day asking ridiculous questions or having insane requests, it has become monotonous and mundane. I get the chance to go to a nice dinner and speak with a good friend and check in on the progress of a reformed pony. And I end up having to wait hours, and I can't even eat at least because not everyone is at the table. I got a break from sitting and waiting all day, answering questions I've heard hundreds of times before.. to sit and wait and answer questions I've heard hundreds of times before. Not to mention I'm pretty sure Celestia was onto Twilight's case and knew those weren't Starlight's new friends, plus Twilight had a pretty huge ego and spun the conversation toward how a great teacher she is and not how her student was doing. Yeah, I'm impressed Celestia didn't fly off the handle and was able to keep calm.
  21. The actual video comes out tomorrow, but here's the audio: https://youtube.com/watch?v=Hn6UekzOPc4 I wouldn't say it's their best work, but it was still pretty enjoyable. I'd have to say so far Tolkien takes it.
  22. Well, can't say for sure yet. Right now Starlight is just Spike's awesome castlemate. I don't consider Starlight part of the Mane Six in the same vain I don't consider Spike part of them. I'd still call her a main character at this point, though. I won't consider her part of the Mane Six until the seven of them go through an adventure that binds her together with them, a la Season 1 and Season 2 premiere. Best new character introduced this season?
  23. Yeah, teleporting oneself seems to be just a bit more difficult. We never really see many other unicorns with the ability to teleport either. Actually, the only Unicorns I recall having seen teleport is Twilight, Starlight, and Sunset Shimmer (I think? Did she teleport during her first encounter with Twilight in the Crystal Empire? I can't really recall.) Rarity, a Unicorn we've known since the start, has never been seen to teleport. I think teleporting is a higher level skill than simple spells such as levitation and illumination.
