I forgot that modern BIOS were UEFI, lol. The BIOS manufacturer does not matter, then. Right, to start in Safe Mode, restart your computer and press F8 on startup until the startup screen shows up. Then, choose the Safe Mode setting. The computer will start in Safe Mode (That is, only load the minimum required to run the computer). If the computer works normally, the problem will likely be software related. It the issue still persists, then it will be hardware related. It is very important to check that because the troubleshooting steps will be very different in the two cases.

She is running Windows 8.1. Please refer to earlier posts

No, it's not. I would also like to have your motherboard specifications and what BIOS you're using. Also, try to start in Safe Mode. If your computer works in Safe Mode, then we can rule out the possibility of a hardware failure. If it still crashes, it might be a hardware related problem although it would be strange considering your computer is new.

Hello; First, it would be good if you could provide us with your technical specifications. What OS are you using ? And the details of your hardware. Is it a fixed computer or a laptop ? Also, try to start in in Safe Mode and see if the problem persists.

This is good. It does not really look like her but it is still a very good drawing nonetheless.

I don't really like the style... Actually, what really bothers me is not the style itself, it is more his (her ?) look on the face and his (her ? ) weird smile....

gaming Do you go for 100% on video games?
boiteporte replied to Twi Rubix's topic in Media Discussion
I usually go for 100 if I can. But on games, like Batman where you have 500 trophies to collect, I usually get bored after 300.... -
why were there 35 candles on Rainbows Birthday cake?
boiteporte replied to paradoxical's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Well, we don't know how old she is. If ponies can live 200 years, then, 35 years old is very young. So, it could be possible...who knows ? What matters is not her "raw" age but her relative age compared to her life expectancy. EDIT : I got that wrong. What matters is her raw age (which is what we are talking about here) and not her relative age. EDIT 2 : I think I was right, the first time around. The bottom line is, she could be 35 years old which would be equivalent to a much lower human age. For example, a 35 years old human is equivalent to a 4 years old dog. -

gaming Worst Video-Game Characters Ever
boiteporte replied to Castle Bleck's topic in Media Discussion
I think Spirou is the worst. I mean, he is so dumb, it's incredible... First, he decides to chase a bad guy. But there is a small car blocking the sidewalk. He has the choice between two options. a) Go around the car Option b ) climb onto the roof of the nearby building and jump from roof to roof. And he goes for option b. Next, he wants to take the subway. What does he do ? a) Buy a ticket and enter the train Option b ) Climb on the roof of the train and avoid all incoming obstacles while train is on route. Of course, option b is the most logical and this is the one he goes for..... -

The mods here do seem nice. On our forum, there are over 430 moderators. Some are stricter than others.. I have seem some of them kick people who talk about MLP because a few are actual anti-bronies. With that said, they cannot ban. This is not their decision to make and people will NOT get banned just because they like MLP unless they rub it into other people's face. And our Terms of Service is outdated. I mean, we still tell people to report PM's containing illegal stuff

gaming Are video game villains(Most of them) really evil?

The Reapers are not evil, they are just machines that were wrongly programmed. -
gaming Are video game villains(Most of them) really evil?
boiteporte replied to TheMarkz0ne's topic in Media Discussion
Well, in Mass Effect, the Illusive Man is not really evil, he just made the wrong choices. In Alice Madness Returns, the March Hare and the Dormouse are not evil, they were just tricked. Add to that the fact that they're crazy... In Deus Ex Human Revolution; The enemies are not evil. They want to do good, but their methods are quite violent. It is possible to side with their way of thinking at the end. -
Well, some people on our forum do get banned because of MLP. Not so much about liking it but it's more about posting ponies everywhere and spamming. As long as they stick to general chat forums, it's ok. What is not appropriate, is posting ponies in other places where they're not wanted. People don't like bronies so, when bronies post about ponies on other places, people lash out at them, they retaliate and everyone gets banned. End of story, lol
