This was Christopher Lee narrating LIVE with Rhapsody of Fire some years ago. Amazing stuff!

Any metal song that uses Dvorak's "New World Symphony" is automatically legendary in my book!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes guys! It's been a difficult week with mom in the hospital over pneumonia (she's home now and recovering, BTW) and see all of those really helps! I know I've been absent, moreso than I should be, but I still appreciate and love every one of you! <3

I'm VERY open minded about metal music. I mean yeah; I have my favorites: power, progressive, symphonic, traditional, and neoclassical definitely. I can like death, doom, and SOME black just fine, but...when it comes to slam metal and grindcore...just...no. I respect all forms of metal (and music in general), but I can not and do not see the appeal in slam and grindcore; as well as the related derivatives of both. I mean, is it just to be heavy and brutal JUST for the sake of heavy and brutal? I mean, if that's your thing, more power to yah! But the pig gutturals and lack of actual lyrics really puts me off. Yes; it's almost impossible to listen to some doom, death, or even power metal without looking at lyrics, but as least there is some and the music is actually attractive. I appreciate the speed and technicality in slam/grind, but...the respective styles just do not speak to me. Different strokes for different folks; pretty much.
Just a metal thought from the forum deer. :p

@Lucky Bolt Should I ask? :p
@Lord Valtasar I highly recommend them; a very underrated band!

Finally getting into some more Dream Theater. Really digging their stuff more and more!

Happy birthday Trobz! I am truly honored to be a friend of yours, and I hope your un-birthday-day is a special one! ^^

I love this intro so much. Digimon was definitely a big part of my childhood; almost up there with Spyro even! As nostalgic as I am for the American intro; that Japanese original reigns supreme~

Speaking of Spyro, I just a cute ideal animation of him doing a cute sneeze in a cold environment.
-
@Wolf Guide Yeah, I've seen that animation! The one where he sneezes flames and burns the grass in front of him? That one is funny!

Be careful of the path that you find; or else it's a haunting of the worse kind~

Apologies for my absence. Turns out they found a blood clot in my leg, so I have been dealing with that. D:

@PathfinderCS I am *so* sorry to hear that, My Friend. I hope you feel better soon.

So; turns out I have cellulitis infection in my foot; which results in the swelling that I have, as well as the pain in my leg. Fun.
-
Foot has been swollen since Monday; was hoping it would go away, but has varied between slightly better and slightly worse. Guess doctor's appointment tomorrow then...

For a theme song from what was a pseudo-documentary from the 90s; this is pretty friggin epic.

Ever since my dad passed away I've been having to learn a few things he never really taught me; one of which included learning how to use and operate a chainsaw. We've been doing some major cleanup & such of the property, and the chainsaw has been helpful, but I seriously struggled getting the thing to start. Oh boy, but I'm getting better with it. XD

I promise @Bakugou Is My Man ❤; I'm being very careful with it. ^^;
And thanks @ChB; I appreciate that. It's been a hard time, but we're largely through it all now.

My favorite band releases a new song with a music video and I'm like HELL YEAH! \m/
