Something that I've never understood is how a song that has no lyrics about the show, and isn't a remix or directly based off the show's music, can be fan music. Can someone explain to me how these songs are fan works and not entirely original?

It's not quite a full out convention, but I imagine it'd be tough to get a good turnout and the money for a solely-brony cruise.

I think Spike's around eleven or twelve, because he seems fairly mature and can make competent decisions, but he can also be really childish like when he ate the tub of ice cream in It's About Time. Going into complete headcanon, I also think dragons mature much more slowly than ponies and live much longer too, so he's going to stay that size until he's about twenty years old(assuming he doesn't get another greed growth spurt) and will only reach his full size at age one thousand or so.

I think they worship no real Gods and believe the universe came to be through scientific explanations or don't really care, but they attend something similar to church where the priests give sermons about harmony and how best to be a friend. They would also have an equivalent of the bible, and it's full of friendship lessons and such.

I would not be happy to live like that at all. I don't imagine I'd go so far as to personally participate in the guerrilla fighting, but I'd probably give them supplies and such.

I think the show should be careful with it, the series could be going on for a while longer and if they go and redeem every villain, then they'll just have it make new villains who won't be different enough from old ones to be special anymore. What could be nice would be a season wide event with a single villain, or two villains in case of Flim and Flam, show up multiple times, say every six episodes or so, and slowly become reformed along the way.

Writer's confirmed that was just a 'Hurray, we won!' flowers, not 'You wanna go on a date' flowers. I doubt they have a past- even though the comics are not canon to the show, I doubt the writers would completely ignore the comics having her be with Alt. Universe Sombra and hook her up with Discord instead. They might have had a friendship, I'm not sure. Celestia and Discord being together could be an interesting episode for Season 5, and it'd be nice Celestia episode- I want more characters to have episodes devoted to them but what else could a Celestia episodes be about?

Lyra is obsessed with humans because of a fanfiction called Anthropology(it's decent). Pinkie is a serial killer because of a fanfiction called Cupcakes(it's crap, watch the parody called Rainbow Dash Presents Cupcakes to get the gist of it). Octavia and Vinyl are always shipped because of a fanfiction that I don't care about.(It's decent anyways). Derpy is the grey background pegasus with a blond mane, loves muffins. Is the mascot of the fandom. The brown background pony with a spiky mane and an hourglass cutie mark is a parody of The Doctor from Doctor Who. Read anything from this website URL, http://www.fimfiction.net/stories/top , they are some of the best stories the fandom has written and you'll almost definitely like anything on that page. Don't judge them as not worth reading just because they're fanfictions if you're that kind of person.

Thinking about it some more, I think the real problem is that Spongebob does not draw enough hard core fans. Fan fictions are created when you like something so much, you want to actually write a story about it. Spongebob is the type of thing that can draw in millions to laugh at it, but barely draw in anyone who wants to actually go and expand upon it's universe.

You know, it is surprising. I would have thought there'd be more of them, especially considering on fimfiction one of the biggest authors is a parody of the guy.
