    I think we should have a little more discussion. There's not that much we're talking about. Anyways, here's season 5. This was an interesting season. It's pretty much the transitional period, with some episodes that truly shine (Roller Cowards), to ones that stink (To Love a Patty), to uncreative shorts (Waiting), to overhyped specials (Atlantis SquarePantis), to episodes that were just plain forgettable. Also, should I limit my Admirable count more? I think I went too far with the first four seasons. Maybe even this season. Friend or Foe- Admirable (It was a real pleasure to look at the backstory of some of the cast) The Original Fry Cook- Bad Night Light- Atrocious (There's a difference between being childish and acting like a 3 year old. This is the latter) Rise and Shine- Good Waiting- Bad (Weakest plot in cartoon history) Fungus Among Us- ​Bad Spy Buddies- Admirable Boat Smarts- ​Atrocious Good Ol' Whatshisname- ​Bad New Digs- Admirable (Really awesome, classic concept. I mistook this as a pre-movie episode for years!) Krabs à La Mode- Admirable (Same as New Digs) Roller Cowards- Admirable (FAVORITE OF SEASON 5) (It definitely deserves it's reputation as one of the most popular post-movie episodes. Not counting Season 4, this would be my fave) Bucket Sweet Bucket- Admirable To Love a Patty- ​Atrocious (This episode is extremely uncomfortable to watch) Breath of Fresh Squidward- Okay Money Talks- Good SpongeBob vs. The Patty Gadget- Admirable (Poetic Masterpiece) Slimy Dancing- Admirable The Krusty Sponge- Admirable (Throw an insult at nickelodeon! Go girl!) Sing a Song of Patrick- Admirable A Flea In Her Dome- Good (Underrated/Guilty Pleasure) Donut of Shame- Good The Krusty Plate- Okay Goo Goo Gas- Good Le Big Switch- Good Atlantis Squarepantis- ​Atrocious (LEAST FAVORITE OF SEASON 5) Do I really have to explain myself? Oh, wait, yes I do. Picture Day- Good Pat No Pay- Bad BlackJack- Bad (must re-watch) Blackened Sponge- Okay Mermaid Man vs. SpongeBob- Admirable The Inmates of Summer- ​Atrocious (Doesn't get enough hate within the community. I mean he's a LEGL ADULT GOING TO SUMMER CAMP for crying out loud!!! It's like Dunces and Dragons only just a tad bit less awesome) 20,000 Patties Under the Sea- Okay The Battle of Bikini Bottom- Okay "What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?"- ​Atrocious The Two Faces of Squidward- Good (It's Overrated, but it's still really funny and random like the internet, no wonder handsome Squidward fit right in) SpongeHenge- ​Atrocious (A b-movie parody of something nonexistent. And no comedy whatsoever) Banned in Bikini Bottom- Okay (Good premise and funny but executed very poorly. And I'm not a fan of the antagonist) Stanley S. SquarePants- ​Atrocious (Care to see Season 7 SpongeBob 2 seasons early?) Admirable: 12 Good: 8 Okay: 7 Bad: 6 Atrocious: 8 Seasonal Rating: Decent Best Episodes: Roller Cowards, The Krusty Sponge, New Digs, Slimy Dancing, Pest of the West. Worst Episodes: Atlantis SquarePantis, To Love a Patty, The Inmates of Summer, Spongehenge, Stanley S. SquarePants. Alright, now we're done with the passable seasons and get to the really bad stuff.     Well, technically, Karate Island would be a bad episode, and barely, but most of the hate comes from "Oh this episode doesn't deserve to be #1" shit and I just defend it anyways. Bes Day Ever, I know all about it being super overhyped, and I would DEFINITELY not like it if I was watching SpongeBob before Atlantis SquarePantis's premiere. By the way, that episode SSSSUUUUUUUUUCKKKKED. In my opinion, All That Glitters is the only episode that can really compare to the unholy terrors of SpongeBob's later run.

    Alright, I was planning to make a long review on the movie, but what the heck, I can't say more than what has already been said, So I'll just give it an Admirable. Now, we enter post-movie territory. You may be surprised at how I rated this season. This is because I treat all seasons and episodes equally, meaning that just because it’s “post-movie”, I AM NOT going to assume it’s bad unless it is actually bad. Another thing, SpongeBob didn't go downhill in Season 4. That's a far-fetched rumor that needs to die. Season 4: Fear of a Krabby Patty- Admirable Shell of a Man- Admirable The Lost Mattress- Admirable Krabs vs Plankton- Admirable Have You Seen This Snail?- Admirable Skill Crane- Admirable Good Neighbors- Bad (Ah, the episode where most people say the show went down. NOT TRUE. This doesn't even compare to a lot of the things in the future) Selling Out- Admirable Funny Pants- Okay Dunces and Dragons- Admirable Enemy In-Law- Good Mermaidman and Barnacleboy VI: The Motion Picture- Admirable Patrick SmartPants- Admirable SquidBob TentaclePants- Good Krusty Towers- Admirable Mrs. Puff, You’re Fired- Admirable Ghost Host- Good Chimps Ahoy- Admirable Whale of a Birthday- Okay Karate Island- Admirable (It's probably one of the less admirable things, but the only real flaw is that took the top spot on the Best Day Ever Marathon. There's a lot of debate on what the best episode is, but this is definitely not it) All That Glitters- Atrocious (LEAST FAVORITE OF SEASON 4) Wishing You Well- Admirable (FAVORITE OF SEASON 4) And my favorite post-movie episode. And my third favorite overall! New Leaf- Good Once Bitten- Admirable Bummer Vacation- Admirable Wigstruck- Good (Not great, just weak) Squidtastic Voyage- Okay That’s No Lady- Good The Thing- Okay (It's kinda like Jellyfishing. The two have a similar excuse to torture Squidward) Hocus Pocus- Good Driven to Tears- Admirable Rule of Dumb- Good (Same as Wigstruck) Born to be Wild- Good Best Frenemies- Admirable The Pink Purloiner- Admirable Squid Wood- Bad Best Day Ever- Good (I know that in the "The Best Night Ever!" discussion I said why this episode sucks and that one didn't but after re-watching it the episode is just decent at most) The Gift of Gum- Okay Yes, I don't hate Season 4. I actually love it like the pre-movie Seasons, in fact more so than Season 1. Got a problem with that? Hope not. Admirable: 20 Good: 10 Okay: 5 Bad: 2 Atrocious: 1 Seasonal Rating: Admirable Best Episodes: Wishing You Well, Skill Crane, Krusty Towers, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy VI, and Dunces and Dragons.

    So it's basically "The Great Patty Caper" done right, down to the fact that there actually WAS a mystery.

    Best. Episode. EVER!!! But seriously. This episode is phenomenal. It's one of the episodes that are the closest it can be to a universally loved status, and I can definitely see why. The episode is about standing up to your fears and with courage, giving it all you can get, even if it may seem like too little. The episode starts with Rainbow Dash gathering all the pegasi to a mandatory meeting, however Fluttershy is missing. Pretty clear why, because you know her character, she's kinda like the "Batman" of MLP. They get prepared to send water up to Cloudsdale, and beat the world record. Fluttershy tries to avoid the training because of her constant bullying as a filly, (everyone teased her about being near-unable to fly), but she is brought in, and thinks she will contribute nothing. But she still tries to overcome her stage fright and practice, and makes major improvements, however it still isn't enough. At Tornado Day, there are 8 ponies that are out sick, so the record must be scrapped. Everyone still tries as hard as they can, but at only a few units away, they fail. But they won't give up. Then the unpredictable happens. Fluttershy courageously contributes to it. And the goal is reached! Go Fluttershy! The moral it ends on is extremely important in life that if we add to ours, the world could be much better. It still has a lot of funny moments, but it knew when the comedy should stop at all the right times. With the great story and all, how does it play out? Like I said earlier, it's my new favorite of the series. In fact, it could compete with "Krusty Krab Training Video" as my favorite animation!
