  1. MLP is an anime. I don't care what anyone says, because you can't change my mind. :proud:

      Then why isn't it ecchi?

    2. AveryGamerDude

      AveryGamerDude

@Kujamih Because not all anime is ecchi. (Little known fact)

      Hahaaaa is what you thot...

Anyway its a joke and practically, you're considered anime if you are made in japan. Because like doraimon and other anime like it... Dosn't fit in that art style but fits western style... But its made in japan then it is called an anime....

I wish i was born in japan...then i can legally say my nationality is anime..

  2. Nether Update came out a few days ago. About freaking time, an update to the Nether was pretty long overdue.

I really need to visit the nether in Minecraft just to see how good the update is.

  3. "This game came out for the NES and I played it when I was 5, so that means it's better than every other game that came out after it." -Almost half of the gaming community.

"This game is for the Playstation, so that means it's above criticism." -The other near half of the gaming community

As a dev, IMO I would barely be able to deal with all the limitations on NES. So I really don't think we should compare games from the 80's with modern games, since for their times many were groundbreaking and the workarounds devs came up with back then were amazingly cleaver. And for once, games were finally story driven. I can't say they were better, but still great though.

And yeah, the playstation part I agree xD PS fanboys are far too blind to want to admit that PS exclusives are far from perfect and other platforms do some things better than sony.

    2. AveryGamerDude

      AveryGamerDude

@Jesse Terrence Sure, NES games were great for their time, but to say that they're better than modern games simply because they're older is... pretty arrogant. And I'm glad you agree with me about Playstation exclusives, lol.

@AveryGamerDude not as arrogant when you compare NES games with some of those uptight indies that try the retro approach. I've seen some that are mediocre at best. Of course, that there is a matter of aesthetics and limitations which make both comparable. You can't just compare Super Mario Bros. or The Legend of Zelda with their switch recent titles. Still, if your retro game is eating half a GB off the hard drive, we could argue you did a terrible work at optimization xD

  4. I don't take issue with politics. What I have a problem with is a large group of people on the internet espousing barbarous and evil rhetoric.

the far people on both sides are so bad, don't center your life around politics kids

    4. AveryGamerDude

      AveryGamerDude

Obviously. I don't wanna center my life around politics, but someone has to criticize their ideas, or else they'll just grow.

  5. I think I'd rather trust what embryologists and scientists have to say about abortion and global warming than what some random f**ks on the internet have to say about it.

      AveryGamerDude

Yes, but I don't act like I know better than actual scientists. I just base what I believe on what scientists say. The point of my post is that scientists that study stuff like global warming probably know more about global warming than random idiots on the internet.

    3. ShadOBabe

      ShadOBabe

That’s a fair stance. I’m just pointing out that they probably don’t care thought. No point in getting ruffled about it, it’ll just put more stress on you.

That said, always be skeptical. The “facts” change all the time, and scientists are not immune to fudging things.

Its obviously super unethical, but that’s humans for you.

    4. AveryGamerDude

      AveryGamerDude

I'm glad you agree, and yeah, I'm sure they don't care. :P

And yes, the facts are obviously changing all the time, because science is always making new discoveries, and we'll change our minds accordingly, and while scientists DO make mistakes, after all, they are only human, it seems pretty doubtful that ALL of them get things wrong.

      And yeah, you're right.

  6. I'll be honest, one of the main reasons I wanna move out of the USA is something that's pretty trivial in most people's eyes. :yeahno:

  7. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually think the art style for Pony Life is kinda cute.

While I prefer the FIM style, the Pony Life style can be quite lively with all the wild expressions. :D It's so cartoony! :yay:

  8. I've always been worried that I have FAR too many waifus, but according to most people I've met on the web, you can't have too many waifus. That's good to know. :sealed:

  9. I think I may have had it. For a a period of two weeks, I felt really sick, was super hot, and had chest pains, etc., and I think that MAY have been Covid-19, but I'm unsure. If it was, then I built up an immunity to it, fortunately, but I'm not positive.
  10. I honestly find it hilarious that climate change deniers act like they understand the science of climate change better than actual scientists.

      According to Wikipedia:

"In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with low ability at a task overestimate their ability. It is related to the cognitive bias of illusory superiority and comes from the inability of people to recognize their lack of ability. Without the self-awareness of metacognition, people cannot objectively evaluate their competence or incompetence."

This describes climate change deniers to a T.

  13. Welp. The new Pokemon game announced wasn't Gen 4 remakes. Time for me to cry. :(

      Photon Jet

But Pokemon Unite looks like fun. It's kinda like League of Legends but with Pokemon.

  14. Pewdiepie IMO. Loud, incoherent screeching isn't funny.
  15. Left my home state for the first time in 2 years and visited Dogwood Canyon, MO! (To be fair, it is located right on the border of Arkansas and Missouri. Heck, part of it is in Arkansas!)
  16. Man, if I ever visit Texas again... Celestia have mercy on me.

  17. I guess this means every Crash game after Crash Bash/CTR is no longer canon?
  18. This is a counterpart to "What video games do you think are overrated?" Instead of listing games that you think get more love than what you think they deserve, what video games do you think get more HATE than what they deserve? As per usual, I'll start: Bendy and the Ink Machine Cuphead EA's Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Every Call of Duty game except the pre-MW ones Every game in the Halo series except CE Fallout 4 (And 76 a teeny tiny bit) Five Night's at Freddy's (All of them) Grand Theft Auto V Minecraft Most modern Sonic games Pokemon Sword and Shield The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Undertale ...And that's all I've got for now. If I come up with any more, I'll post again. What games do YOU think get more hate than they deserve? Lemme know!
  19. What are games are overrated in my opinion? Hoo boy... where do I begin? Pretty much any Playstation exclusive except Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Look, I love this game, too, but I don't think it's the best Zelda game, let alone the best video game ever made, which some people have claimed.) Every Fallout game minus 4 and 76. (Once again, I like these games as much as the next guy, but I have some issues. I liked the atmosphere of the first 2 Fallout games, and I thought the villain of Fallout 1 had a pretty cool design, but I think their stories are only kind of good. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. Also, the gameplay is pretty slow and clunky. I get it these games came out in the late 90s, but still... I think it could have been a LITTLE better. Fallout 3 I also like, but I think it gets WAY more love than what it deserves. It is fun and has some neat ideas, but once again, I just don't think the plot is all that fantastic. It's not bad, it works... but it's not that interesting to me. It's a fun game, but one of the best ever made? I don't see it... and finally, New Vegas. Most of my issues with the other Fallout games can be brought back here, but New Vegas is kinda better. Some of the side quests I thought were really cool, and I loved the callback to the original Fallout games, but once again, while I think this game is really good, I don't think it's one of the best ever, let alone above criticism.) Pretty much any well known game from the 1980s. (Don't get me wrong, I love retro games as much as the next guy, but I just think games have gotten a LOT better over the years. I understand technology back then was limited, but games back then were much shorter, were often unfairly challenging, and didn't have much to offer compared to games today. Just because something is older doesn't automatically mean that it's better or that it gets a free pass from criticism.) The Witcher 3. (I don't hate this game, I just think it's a watered down Skyrim, though I'm sure a bunch of people are gonna jump down on me for saying that.) Super Mario 64 (I like this game. I really do. I also have a huge nostalgia spot for it, but I seriously don't get the widespread acclaim it has. Sure, it's good. But the Mario Galaxy games, Mario Odyssey, and even the New Super Mario Bros. series I think is better than Super Mario 64. A good game, but not one of the best IMO.) The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind (Beginning with the obligatory "I like this game", I don't think this game is particularly amazing. Sure, it's fun for what it is, but it's really clunky and broken compared to the later Elder Scrolls games. I also didn't find the story particularly engaging, even though everyone PRAISES this game's plot. I don't get it.) Team Fortress 2: (I have to say, I was a HUGE TF2 fanboy back in 2014-2015, but then, after Overwatch came out, that all went crashing down. I mean, I still like TF2, but I think it's a largely inferior game to Overwatch. Overwatch is more balanced, more fun, and more graphically impressive IMO, but I see TF2 fanboys all over the web saying TF2 is "better" than Overwatch. I'll be honest, I think they're just saying that because TF2 is older, and as we all know, if a video game is older, it's automatically better. ) That's all I have to say for now. If any other games come out that I think are overrated, I'll post again.
  20. Oh boy, where do I begin? The Martian Saucer's second form in Terraria's master mode. (Before the Journey's End update, there was an easy way to beat it, since its death ray couldn't travel through blocks, but now, its death ray attack can travel through blocks, so now it seems like the only way to beat it is to use the Black Spot mount at max speed and use a ranged weapon. ) Quarry Junction in Fallout: New Vegas. Seriously. Screw that place. (Technically, this area is completely optional, but I always like to tackle it. The deathclaws in Fallout: New Vegas IMO are WAAAAYYY too strong. In Fallout 3, they were definitely the most balanced. Stronger than your average bad guy, but by no means impossible, but in Fallout 4, they're pretty much a total joke, even in survival mode. But in New Vegas, they can take away a third of your health in a single hit, even at a high level and with the best armor in the game. I'm not kidding. The deathclaw alphas and mothers, on the other hand? They can kill you in TWO hits! And whatever you do, make sure you kill the mother before you kill her babies, because if you kill ANY of her babies before her, she'll get angry, and kill you in a single hit. Like, I'm not saying that challenge is bad. Challenge is a good thing. But there's a difference between challenging, and just freaking IMPOSSIBLE.) Cuphead. Pretty much the entire game. Super Mario Bros. 3, pretty much ANY of the later levels. Magic users in Skyrim. Seriously, the Dragonborn can take down FOUR DRAGONS with no trouble but dies to a few lightning, fire, or ice combos from some mage in a cave?! What the heck?! Those are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head. If I think of or encounter any more, I'll let you know.
  21. I love how upset people are getting over the fact that IGN gave Sword and Shield a positive review... like, sure, I don't like IGN much either, but they have a right to their opinion, folks!

  22. Yeah... Kum and Go is pretty much an exclusively midwestern thing. (Even though Arkansas and Oklahoma aren't midwestern states. )
  23. Well, I'd really like to visit the rest of the United States. I'd also like to visit France and Italy, because I've heard they have great food there.
