MLP is an anime. I don't care what anyone says, because you can't change my mind.
-
-
@Kujamih Because not all anime is ecchi. (Little known fact)
-
Hahaaaa is what you thot...
Anyway its a joke and practically, you're considered anime if you are made in japan. Because like doraimon and other anime like it... Dosn't fit in that art style but fits western style... But its made in japan then it is called an anime....
I wish i was born in japan...then i can legally say my nationality is anime..

Nether Update came out a few days ago. About freaking time, an update to the Nether was pretty long overdue.

"This game came out for the NES and I played it when I was 5, so that means it's better than every other game that came out after it." -Almost half of the gaming community.
"This game is for the Playstation, so that means it's above criticism." -The other near half of the gaming community

As a dev, IMO I would barely be able to deal with all the limitations on NES. So I really don't think we should compare games from the 80's with modern games, since for their times many were groundbreaking and the workarounds devs came up with back then were amazingly cleaver. And for once, games were finally story driven. I can't say they were better, but still great though.
And yeah, the playstation part I agree xD PS fanboys are far too blind to want to admit that PS exclusives are far from perfect and other platforms do some things better than sony.
-
@Jesse Terrence Sure, NES games were great for their time, but to say that they're better than modern games simply because they're older is... pretty arrogant. And I'm glad you agree with me about Playstation exclusives, lol.
-
@AveryGamerDude not as arrogant when you compare NES games with some of those uptight indies that try the retro approach. I've seen some that are mediocre at best. Of course, that there is a matter of aesthetics and limitations which make both comparable. You can't just compare Super Mario Bros. or The Legend of Zelda with their switch recent titles. Still, if your retro game is eating half a GB off the hard drive, we could argue you did a terrible work at optimization xD

I don't take issue with politics. What I have a problem with is a large group of people on the internet espousing barbarous and evil rhetoric.
-
I think I'd rather trust what embryologists and scientists have to say about abortion and global warming than what some random f**ks on the internet have to say about it.

That’s a fair stance. I’m just pointing out that they probably don’t care thought. No point in getting ruffled about it, it’ll just put more stress on you.
That said, always be skeptical. The “facts” change all the time, and scientists are not immune to fudging things.
Its obviously super unethical, but that’s humans for you.
-
I'm glad you agree, and yeah, I'm sure they don't care.
And yes, the facts are obviously changing all the time, because science is always making new discoveries, and we'll change our minds accordingly, and while scientists DO make mistakes, after all, they are only human, it seems pretty doubtful that ALL of them get things wrong.
And yeah, you're right.

I'll be honest, one of the main reasons I wanna move out of the USA is something that's pretty trivial in most people's eyes.
-
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually think the art style for Pony Life is kinda cute.

I've always been worried that I have FAR too many waifus, but according to most people I've met on the web, you can't have too many waifus. That's good to know.

@EpicEnergy And most people I've talked with on the internet would agree with you!

I honestly find it hilarious that climate change deniers act like they understand the science of climate change better than actual scientists.
-
According to Wikipedia:
"In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with low ability at a task overestimate their ability. It is related to the cognitive bias of illusory superiority and comes from the inability of people to recognize their lack of ability. Without the self-awareness of metacognition, people cannot objectively evaluate their competence or incompetence."
This describes climate change deniers to a T.
-
@LyraLover 💙 Describes a lot of people to a T, honestly.
-
@China (100% NOT China) Bold of you to assume the average climate change denier is capable of basic math.

It's seriously frustrating that my mom gets onto me for not working when I literally CAN'T get a job because of this stupid plague...

Welp. The new Pokemon game announced wasn't Gen 4 remakes. Time for me to cry.

Man, if I ever visit Texas again... Celestia have mercy on me.

I love how upset people are getting over the fact that IGN gave Sword and Shield a positive review... like, sure, I don't like IGN much either, but they have a right to their opinion, folks!
