  1. Jailed for hiding contraband under her huge ermine cape! EDIT: I confess to missing Radience with that shot and hitting A.V. ...Am I going to jail for that?
  2. (S)he's right! It's the exact same story with me and Weather Factory Meltdown; move at your own pace, and it'll be done when it's done
  3. I finally found the coolest facial expression, and I'm sticking with it like I'm sticking to the ground!
  4. I can't breathe with this mask on...and I can't breathe without it!
  5. There was a grain of sand under my pseudopod...it's a pearl, now!
  6. "Is that a mouse on the floor? ...Should I run away screaming, or say 'D'awwww!'??"
  7. How does she do it without opposable thumbs!?
  8. When I learned that the makers of FiM actually did research on real-life horse body language while putting the show together, I got curious about how real horses think. So I put in "how do horses think?" into youtube, and found a channel called ThinkLikeAHorse, which contains horsemanship advice and demonstration videos from a former police officer named Rick Gore. The commentary from one of his videos went really well with some footage of Twilight getting soaked in previous seasons, so I put together this youtube video combining slightly-edited audio from Rick's vid (used by permission) and MLP footage, mostly of Twilight from seasons 1 through 3---please let me know what you think! If people like this, I might make a sequel or two, like "Rick Gore Treats a Unicorn With Founder" or "Rick Gore Corrects a Disrespectful Pegasus"
  9. My headcanon is that Celestia and Luna were the nieces of Princess Platinum: her sister married a high-ranking brother of Commander Hurricane, and Chancellor Puddinghead performed the ceremony---thus were the governments of the three tribes united. So...I think this is pretty plausible, though I wouldn't go so far as to say they were considered an abomination. And maybe a few canon works contradict this headcanon... That's another thing. There's an alicorn OC that I recently got permission to use for my fangame named Thunder Artist, and...well, having him in the game as an alicorn wouldn't have worked with the worldbuilding for my game, so I had to downgrade him to a unicorn, unfortunately. This is lack-of-canon-info-on-alicorns thing actually a big reason why we need to make our own worldbuilding, and because of your point #2, I figured that being an alicorn led to being royalty, if for no other reason than that their great power brought great responsibility.
  10. I've been to Five Guys, and I love it. Never even heard of In 'n' Out until I read this topic! Are they like Hot 'n' Now?
  11. Thanks; I was curious about whether this was a check to see if anyone is paying attention, because it's my experience that, in a lot of cases, they don't really expect you to read the long document before signing it. That's not smart, but not uncommon, either. But these other explanations make a lot more sense than what I was thinking!
  12. I'm not looking for free legal advice; I've just had an experience enough times to pique my curiosity. When I see a long terms-of-service agreement or contract or something the like that asks for my signature (especially in real life), I tend to read it before signing. But one thing I've noticed several times now is that there are often minor mistakes---two section F's and no section E, paragraph 2-a having a roman-numerals list that goes from (iv) to (vi) with no (v) in between, that kind of thing. My question is: do attorneys deliberately put minor mistakes in these contracts to see if anyone points them out, to check to see if we're paying attention?
  13. I hope you're still at this? I'm still at my fangame---putting together animated background elements that can react to event flags at the moment.
  14. When I was a kid, there was a TV show that was briefly on FOX Kids called the Mr. Potato Head Show. It was like the Muppets, only even more off-the-wall! For a long time, I couldn't find the full series online...until now! I think, my fellow bronies, that you're going to like it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gN4expzBTRo&list=PLJNc8j6_Xzd6z_Efk5No93R0dksWgLNRk I've linked a playlist here; the series only lasted 13 episodes, unfortunately...fortunately, all 13 of them are here!
  15. Any mare in the hospital: "I'm going to give my brand-new baby foal the name Product Placement!"
  16. If it were up to me, I'd have an arc villain throughout the season and maybe even beyond with Hydia, Reeka, and Draggle from G-1. They have some interesting dynamics with varying levels of motivation and effectiveness, so there's room for both comedy and drama with those villains. When I say "arc villain" what I mean is that ideally, they'd be driving either the main plot or a subplot of a majority of episodes in S7, though not necessarily each and every episode. Maybe there'd be some overarching mystery or goal that they slowly work towards over the course of the season, too. This is in contrast to Starlight Glimmer's tenure as a villain: Starlight was in the start of S5 and the finale, but only had cameos in between; I think someone who drives a lot of the plot would be a better implementation of a villain.
  17. I only use annotations occasionally, but honestly---this isn't the right way for youtube to go! I was also annoyed when they took out the ability to send youtube content creators private messages...
  18. Celestia: I want to arrest that pony, but he's not broken any laws...time to bring out the 600-year-old public nudity laws!
  19. I might be putting a review on youtube about this some time soon; I've scored a switch, and it's hard to put Breath of the Wild down. What I really don't like is that the Switch doesn't have a browser: the Wii U and the 3DS do. Heck, a simple Boox (a really cheap-o tablet-thingy that is meant to let you read books) has a browser. Why shouldn't the Switch?
  20. IMO, it's all in how they explain their absence for the last six years. If the writers have a good explanation that works in-story and makes sense, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Coming out of the blue, I'd be unhappy.
  21. Shining Armor and Princess Cadence: I wish we hadn't named our filly "Flurry Heart"...we should've named her "Mystery Meat".
  22. Twilight Sparkle: I declare that Ponyville now has an official state religion: nepotism!
  23. Different strokes for different folks, to be sure. But to me, the appeal of MLP is in the worldbuilding, the characters, and I suppose the writing, too. A change in drawing style won't necessarily affect any of those negatively, so it doesn't bother me much.
