I never managed to pick up Skyrim. Most of the time I would just end up walking for miles and miles facing a few enemies that a few left clicks would kill. I can see why people like it, but it's not for me. Dark Souls, on the other hand, get me hooked nearly instantly. Also, it's far from difficult one you get the hang of it. Most of the "thrash mobs" can be killed by blocking one of their attacks and counter attacking immediatly after (and once you learn how to parry, it's going to be a cakewalk) and most bosses can be killed by staying behind them and mashing R1/RB (except some like Artorias, Gwyn and Ornstein+Smough. God those were actually insanely hard.) But what got me hooked the most was the multiplayer. Having trouble with bosses? Summon someone to help. Want to help somepony out with a hard boss while gettig souls and humanity in the process? Drop a soul sign. Want to fight someone? Go to Oolacile Township and use a red eye orb. Some people say that invasions are unfair. That's true when you're just starting out and you meet people with barely leveled stats and maxed equipment, but once you get to level 100-120, PvP becomes fair. I guess I just prefer Multiplayer games over single player.

Alright, 'tis been a fun game night (although I don't really like CSGO much I still had fun. FUN! ) Thanks to PoniArcade for making this happen. I'm looking forward to more game nights like these!

The Art of War. Yes, the one by Sun Tzu. You know, it's not just a handbook for generals. I got a version that also explains what Sun Tzu meant in detail, and most of it can be some highly useful life advice for anyone.

Sadly, I have to agree. Now, I don't mind skill differences since those are bound to happen. I had to quit mid-way because my connection died and when it got back up the server was already half empty (so I don't know if the situation got better after like 10-15 minutes on Turbine). It started out well, but it rapidly fell down. Let's just say... it didn't really feel much different than playing your average game of tf2 on a random server. Now I can't really blame the admins or PoniArcade for how people act because that's not under their control, and as far as I know no one was breaking the rule or being unpolite or toxic. But yeah, we NEED some sort of voice comms server for the other nights. Actually, I'm pretty sure PoniArcade having its own TS server would be great. It would be a place for people to meet and play together even outside events like these, and TS servers don't cost too much (a 50 slots TeamSpeak server would cost 15$ monthly on multiplay) As for separation of competitive and casual players... well I don't think that's really an issue. After all, this is a social event and I don't think participants should be separated for being too good/bad at the game. I have high hopes for the Gmod night, since that's not really a competitive game (regardless of gamemode) and it's much more fun oriented (whereas Tf2 can be frustrating at times), but I'm kind of scared on how the CS:GO one will end.

I think the whole point of game nights are to play in a friendly and moderated environment. Can't build worth sh*squee!* in sandbox? There an entire herd here to help you. Not to mention sandbox can be insanely fun even if all you can use is the wheel tool. ESPECIALLY if there's other people. Same goes with TTT. I'm assuming that if someone starts being a jerk they're gonna get the boot. AAAAAAANYHOOF I have all those games along with hudreds and hundreds of hours logged on them (and I'm still awful at all of them. Well, except sandbox). I'm so up for this. I hope we'll have a teamspeak server up. Otherwise, the voice chat in those games aren't so bad.

Just like every piece of food ever contains something bad for you. Even non-GMO vegetables and fruit are likely grown on polluted ground and watered with polluted water. I'm not saying that you should go and eat the most toxic things in the world, but getting too paranoid about food is probably useless, since as of now pretty much everything is toxic to some extent.

I'm on 4gb I had to clean up the cache every minute because it'd fill up with previews and stuff, not to mention things took ages to render. But maybe now that I got a new gpu it might work a tad better.

I would never fly, unless I somehow manage to grow wings. I don't trust machinery to keep me in the air.
