"I did once, before this."
Mother waved a winged arm around to indicate everything around them, though If that included the things beyond the walls where a good question. A question that she wasn't answering at this point in time as Omen went closer to her where the larger creature extend her other clawed hand down to course through Omen's mane.
"Before my children."
The hand didn't pass through as it had with Sen, though the glow persisted whilst Omen... Looked happy. Not the usual neutral with little indicators of emotions, but serene and full of joy, with life dancing in the eyes fixated at her mothers loving visage. It was very different from what would have been seen thus far, but this was but one oddity amongst many.
"It have been a long time though, and I am no longer who I were back then. Now, I am what they call me. I am Mother, and by that name you can call me too, child of another world.
As to your other question, the answer is not as simple as that. Here, in this shape, the foulness have been cleansed from you, but this is just part of who you are. Wherever your real body and soul lies, the darkness will continue to seep into it, corrupting and devouring til nothing is left. Such is the curse of sacrificial magic, and it is not a curse you get rid of easy. However..."
Mother changed her view to the siblings, with Lin in particular, whilst rising from her seat and taking Omen up in her arms when it were, still running her claws through her mane, gently across her face and so forth.
"Every world haves a time when the magic reached its peak. Some call it twilight, others Krx'thiiiiif, or hundreds of other variations, depending on the one who speaks. If you can find a place of pure magic on the very hour and crush the foul thing it courses through, it should be drawn out and demolished by the pure essences who will not tolerate such impurity. I cannot imagine it will be an easy spot and time to find, but it must be done, for if you leave it be as it is now... It will eventually leave nothing but an empty husk."
She looked sad as she said the last part, feeling for this little creature and what a burden she now carried. Even if she had likely put this upon herself, it did not mean that she should suffer from it, especially not as she likely did not know how bad it could become. Often, creatures who used this blend of magic didn't until it were too late.
"There is power to be found other ways, and if you still desire the power to do something, you can search for those. Perhaps amongst the pure magic you will need to find as is, I don't know. World have fickle magic with many variants, and though some things are the same, others will always vary widely.
Now, I wish to ask you something, as well as the child who I presume are the brother you spoke of? What names do you wander by, and what drew you to think you had to reside to magic that have been made to cause nothing but misery?"

@@cwhip9,
Zinthar were quiet for a few seconds after the answer and question, thinking of whatever or not he should answer this. Truth be told, he had said that he would answer as they had left and this were all over, as he did not want the vision of him clouded, though if they were close to freedom now... Perhaps he could indulge in sharing some? This close to the dream halls, it seemed possible that he could escape on his own if worst came to worst, and Crescent did not seem one to scare off easy...
"...I never knew Luna, as far as I recall, but Celestia is another being entirely.
Once, when I were the pet of her apprentice Star Swirl, she sometimes came around the chambers where my owner and me spent most of our time between his studies. She seemed like a nice pony back then, and sometimes came to play with me whilst speaking with Star Swirl. Though I haven't seen her since the day I had to flee from the castle when I returned from a mouse hunt to find her proclaiming to herself that any trace of Star Swirl were to be sanitised or destroyed, myself included if she could find me.
I never found out what happened, just heard some days after that a day of sorrow were begun to mark his death the day before when I had tried in vain to return to Canterlot, only to almost be trapped by spells. I never even got to visit my owners funeral..."
The hairs on the feline started to raise and a sickening feeling of seething rage would begin to radiate around him briefly before he calmed down a little again.
"The anger I felt then will never end before I get answers to why she feared me around, and how Star Swirl died as I do not believe the lies that he went of old age. Yet, I have had my time to think of it, and what I did wrong back then in my hunt for answers. Though I will not repeat the failures from then however, I will not cease either. I want answers, even if I have to remember some limitations this time."

@@Moonlit,
"Honestly I think that you should let Princess Luna ask her for the meeting. She'd want time to prepare I would imagine, and if the word comes from her, Princess Sparkle might be more inclined to listen. Would make it carry more weight and stuff."
All the way back to Serenade's home, Ziggy tried to help the increasingly tired pony staying awake with small talk, though it didn't seem to help much as when they finally reached there she more or less stumbled the last few steppes before it was lights out.
Looking at the sleeping siren she lets out a small giggle before raising her eyes to look towards Fah'lina, who seemed to have found the placement on the zebra/pegasi's head comfortable.
"We'd better leave her to get some rest. Besides, I could use a nap too.
...Say, have you ever tried sleeping on a cloud before?"
As the mimic shook her head, Ziggy giggled and whispered something about her likely finding it comfy, then snuck out, locked the door as well as she could behind her considering that she didn't have a key, and flew more or less straight up, looking for a stray cloud she could push to being above this house and use as a comfy bed for the night. Something that she would eventually find and finally end off towards sleepy-town one again.

@@Wolves,
"Considering That, I'm not sure I want to know."
Happy pointed towards the town where walls that gathered to form almost bubble around part of the town roared ahead. Much like with a hurricane, you could see the winds from the amount of dust and such that rushed through it. Though, as were evident not only by the shape showed but also the fact that no houses touched seemed to get damaged, this was not a natural phenomenon, and you couldn't apply regular logic to it then.
It seemed as if they'd be cut off from entering the section of town that this were happening with - a part that he wasn't sure whatever or not covered the trade area, but were thankful about not hitting here and bringing his own wagon in danger - though considering what were occurring, why would you Want to? Sure, even he could feel the curiosity gnaw at him, but there was this little thing keeping him from charging in called *Common sense* that didn't think that rushing into a wall of wind were going to end well.
"Please tell me this is a local thing and not something going horribly off the hook."

@@Melke,
Briar winced at the sounds around him. At first he had just been prepared to go with Syo and be done with this for the time being, but with Priestess mentioning the crystal spider from before... He could still recall what had happened the last time it had shown itself.
"Brittle, go over to Seamore and the trees. It will be safe there until I return."
"B-But... Y-You're coming back, right?"
Briar put a hoof on the head of Brittle and lightly ruffled her mane, as well as do what he could to make her sight of what would be above them limited.
"Most certainly. Now please, go over there, and remember that whatever happens, you're safe there. Nothing can hurt you."
"Yes I could."
Briar turned his head towards the taunting voice of Ashta and sneered at him, showing off his fangs and his displeasure of having him anywhere near them more and more clearly.
"Not if you value your ability to walk. That is, if the trees don't smack you away like the squishy bug you are first."
The temptation to carve into the plant rose once more for Ashta, but he kept it back. For now. Another time, he would get back for every little thing this maggot did or said, but for now, he could enjoy his small, hollow *victory*. In the end, he were still going to be a hide on his floor.
Meanwhile, Briar ignored him further and with one of his vines, gently pushed/lead Brittle towards Seamore and the trees, where she'd lay on the ground in a clear spot between them and look as Briar retracted his vines and faced Syo with an "I'm ready." whilst Ko kept his focus on the Subterrenean forces and weighted some what they were saying before making a reply of his own.
"If what have been said is true, then the longer it lingers, the more we are all in danger. Something neither of our ruling bodies would want to happen, no? A waste of perfectly good resources to fight something at high power when you can handle it in its infancy after all."

"Sounds like somepony Really needs his caffeine fix."
Some vendors would likely have taken some irritation with the minor outburst from Rapid, but this pony had been in the business of selling coffee for awhile now and he saw all sorts of testy folks in that line. The lack of having a good cup of joe aboard after waking up, or later int he day after work, could really make some ponies a bit short tempered, and if he let that get to him he would have run out of customers ages ago.
Besides, once they got their caffeine running through their system, they usually cheered up a lot and became more stable. Like this one likely would instead of going to highs and lows on a whim this easy.
Pouring up the cappuccino that was requested, the venor would hand it over with the grin still plastered on his face, going "That'll be 2 bits sparky." (price seemed low and fair at two bits. Adjust to one if it seems expensive. Not sure about the currency value)

@@Moonlit,
The time that went by were surprisingly enlightening for Ziggy. Not that she didn't think she'd learn things, that was a given, but the amount of stuff that she had no idea about before this was just amazing. Not all were going to stick, despite Serenade's good efforts to make her understand it, but some things were going to stay in the back of her head for sure. Especially about the North Star. Funny how she always just thought that the stars went up randomly each night.
As she were hearing about yet another constellation and looking at the old book that Serenade showed her - just looking from a glance, not touching it as it were a special gift from the sound of it and you didn't mess with that - Serenade showed something else: That she were getting tired. Seemed like not even she, who were doing this sort of stuff often at night from the sounds of it, could keep it going too long after all. Not that Ziggy were any better, as she were also yawning a few times now and again, and did so in response to Serenade's yawn too when it were, but Serenade sounded a little knackered too in her mind.
That, or her brain just needed some oxygen. Yawning didn't always have to mean you were tired after all.
"Getting tired? We've been out here for a while and it's almost getting... Well, early, so it wouldn't be surprising. Perhaps we should get you home again, and then look at more fun constellations another time?"

"T-The princess? She shouldn't be here I'd think. Should she? N-No, not when the others are already... No, she isn't supposed to be in this dream."
The slug started to halfway speak to himself and halfway answer Crescent, nervously going through the motion that seemed to say that he didn't expect Princess Luna to meet them. At least not in this dream, though not why, which seemed important as the way he spoke sounded like there was a particular reason for it.
Something that wondered the curious feline in their midst too, though not enough to dig into it further on his own. His best bet were that this dream were unnatural in some way and needed fixing, such as perhaps the dreamer were stuck and unable to wake up, though something told him that even if he aired that opinion he wasn't going to get an answer. Not that he wanted one frankly, as he might start to care and all, but if it were he likely would be stonewalled in some way.
What did interest him though, were the princess herself. She wasn't the one who were his old... Acquaintance, but indirectly she were still part of that one, and it made him curious as the tone of Crescent sounded like he wasn't in awe of meeting her. Something which might imply he had seen her before, though that'd be a neat trick since she were corrupted and trapped far as he knew.
Perhaps if he asked Crescent a few things, starting with that last part, he could get a bit more in tune with what were going on these days, and how long he had actually been away. Besides, it passed the time as they headed for the exit.
"Last I were around, the princess of the night was trapped in the moon. Have she gotten loose?"

"Don't worry, you will both make it. Though, brace yourself child, for this will hurt."
Suddenly, the nearest of the three pillars opened vaguely glowing, pale eyes near the end headed towards the floor before large, leathery wings springs spread and gave away that this were not a pillar, but instead a creature that had stood ready. A creature that looked somewhat like the old legends in Equestria of Humans, though the large wings that started to glow in a pale light as the figure flapped and took to the sky before descending were very much not standard for that, and instead were one of the signs that pointed to this being more of an anthropomorphic bat than anything else. Also because she were about twice as high as a general human.
As she landed you could see more, like the long, flowing white hair that embraced her calm, welcome face, and the elegant dress made of bone and thick shadow that seemed to flow like a cloud of smoke as she moved beneath the winged arms, though she cared not for how she looked, but just for the creature that now came into her domain. The domain of Mother, and the shadowy ones such as the daughter that now looked longingly at her being.
She swiftly reached for Lin, and with pale-glowing claws passed her hand into the siblings shared body with nothing resisting it. As were evident when she started to draw threads along her fingers like she were controlling a spectral weave connected to Lin, she were working on another plane than the physical right now, so the body remained unharmed, though glittery strands of silky material poured out of her and gathered loosely next to Mother.
Now, the process were going to hurt both the siblings, and it would be somewhat lengthy as part of the flowing motions included patching some together that seemed frayed or torn apart, but eventually, there would be a ball of energy in which Lin resided, and the body that - whilst likely feeling very tired - would contain only Sen.
To finish off, Lin - who would be able to see the process as the ball, even thought he lack of limbs and such were likely uncomfortable - would see shades start to crawl of the walls and herself being made into threads again that were weaved in with the essence drawn in. It would feel strange, as the energy and shades would start to mingle and take form around the idea of the body that the energy had once been part of, but eventually, a version of Lin would be there, with a body feeling like she were used to, though with swaying hair and the color scheme of Omen.
It should likely still feel alien, as this were just life in a body and not a soul, but the pain and the leakage should have ended at least.
"Your energy needs time to settle before it can be returned, so enjoy the time you now have, where one is two again."
She looked a little tired as she said that and sat herself in thin air where the floor suddenly rose in shades to form a fitting seat beneath her, but she also looked happy to have done her part in saving a life, though she were not sure what were to be now that the one were two.
It were fortunate they had not been two souls mingled together, or this would have been... Complicated.

Is it bad that my first thought when seeing that picture were *Uuuh, shinies!*?
Beyond the first thought though, looking neat. ^^ What's it for?

I think having a personal zebra student is easier than trying to mix a canon's powers, yes. Gives you room to form your own little creature without the pesky limitations of canon. ^^
With this sorted then along with the magic, we seem to have the base in check then. Long as you don't try to leech the life off of other's OC's without asking first, I think that we can get you started.
So, considering you have the pair in the Everfree forest, there is likely a good place to start, yes? Do you want to begin with your own thing or try to aim towards one of the other established groups? Starting of on your own thing is likely easier to begin with, as you don't need to read back on a lot of things, but it is up to you of course.
And just because it starts as something mainly focused on you, it doesn't mean it can't eventually mingle with others.
What're your thoughts on how to start mate? We'll work something out from there, or you can post a beginning and I'll wing it as best I can.

@@Moonlit,
"Meet your parents? But we haven't even been on a date yet."
Ziggy neither could nor wanted to hold back the laughter with that one. She knew it was a bit immature and it were not what Serenade had meant, but... Sometimes, you just had to go with it when you had the chance. Something that Fah'lina didn't seem to agree with as the mimic bent a bit from her position of Ziggy's head and looked her in the eye with an expression of *Are are you serious?*.
"Sorry, sorry, couldn't help myself. But it could be fun, and seeing the old journals would help a lot to see the development of you and potential diseases though the years. A boon to be sure.
And sure, I'm all in for learning something new. Never had much time to learn about stars beyond them being pretty, and I've got lots of energy left to spare."
She grinned at the siren, not sure what were going to happen as Fah'lina shook her head and returned to a sitting position on Ziggy's head. Likely it were going to be interesting though, and it would be cool to see more of Serenade showing her speciality than she had seen thus far. Always fun to see others in their ace.

As the door opened they would enter a great room where the ceiling were hard to see from the vague light the ghostly candles gave off around the room. It had plenty of room though, as were evident by the space from wall to wall, and that the three, rough pillars that hung from the ceiling and escaped the floor by a few feet, didn't feel like they took much space.
Not that there were many things here either. A bed stood there, grand and looking comfy as few, but it were barely touched from the looks of it, and neither were the few chairs, the bench and some sort of large, see-through bowl. Only thing that seemed really out of place here though, were a watery orb that floated in the middle of the room, with a piece of purple rock inscribed with multiple-colour gems underneath it.
It looked to be floating with random patterns of the colours of this plane and never standing still, like a droplet that someone stirred into, but beyond that it seemed harmless enough.
"We are here, Mother."
"I see you my child, as well as the one who honours me with her visit. How I wish this could have been under different circumstances and I could have learned more of the one who stopped the lonely streak of my long-awaiting daughter from the get go, but alas, we must mend what will soon bleed the blood of souls first. Are you prepared, friend of my daughter?"
The voice still flowed on unseen winds, but it seemed more focused now around here somewhere. Around the pillars or the orb in the middle of them seemed to be it, but it were still hard to say where exactly.
______________________________________________________________________________
"You should not be afraid of the Atazi. Perhaps we have started on a bad root, but it sounded like they had been looking for you, though they weren't aware of who or what you were before they met you. Perhaps something in the way you got here?"
"It called a spacial abnormality. Usually happens with poorly made teleportation spells sends you away, and the residue energy clings on to you like water for days."
Nerzhei turned her head and looked at them disinterested, though mainly at Lyriel, as she were the one she heard the clearest.
"It's easy to track if you have the right tools and the brain to read the signs of it."
She withdrew the orb she had reached towards them earlier and showed it before returning it to its spot and moving onwards.
"Pff, being brainy and researching only got you so far Nerzhei. You still can't track well enough with that thing, or you wouldn't need me."
Qert seemed to get in his two cents in from behind them as he jumped into yet another tree, keeping his constant watch on the ponies and listening in far more than Nerzhei cared to right now. Just in case they said something that were important in some sort of way, though thus far his first encounter with ponies hadn't left him with much reason to think they would.
"True. Sometimes it needs another tool to work properly."
There were some mumbled cursing behind them, and in front of them, a dragoness suddenly looked a good deal more entertained as a smirk went over her face from lashing back at her small companion.
Meanwhile, Lyriel just let out a small sigh and turned to Summer, lowering her voice some so that it wouldn't be as easy to hear for other than her equine companions.
"And I do not fear them for are, I fear them for what this means, as the peaceful life I knew before this have now ended. Though I do not fear they will bring me harm as long as I show them my respects, I worry what are to happen, as even if I am to stay here, they will know I am here now. There will be no more of this silent exile for me, and though it excites me some to think of what can be... I worry about change."
She looked down on Summer and Frosty, then to Blitz that were seemingly not listening in much and were instead following the movement of Qert, and a small smile spread on her face.
"Though if you can go through this with your heads held high, I will try and think of this positively."
She didn't realise the fear they had for the dragons. For all she knew, they were just paranoid about their scaled companions because they had met others like them in their own place, and didn't think highly off them there.

Far as I know, Zecora already knew her tricks before she came to the Everfree Forest, so that seems kinda strange. Especially as she is seemingly adult or at least young adult, and your OC is 16. Still, if it is limited to a few, select things such as just making a cup or smaller object like that come forth, it's workable. She shouldn't know too much of this sort of thing or it starts to make her character strange to put in place in my opinion.
As for the magic, I am going to need a few more details still I'm afraid. That it is destructive is a good start, but again, it's magic learned from a book for non-unicorns, likely haves some kind of downside or limitation. As you say it can make objects, it sounds chaotic, so perhaps it haves a random nature that adds to the destructiveness? As in, though you mostly get what you try to make, it can also end up being something else entirely that's gonna take a good deal of energy to deal with. So you try to make a campfire, and instead it turns into a giant spider that starts a rampage for example.
Could also be a reason why it was banned after causing destruction, without being a rather evil sort of magic in itself.
Nitpicking a bit, I know, but creation magic needs to be defined somewhat or it will be like Discord's ultimate edition with no limits on what can happen, which is a lot of Mary Sue to handle.

"Little dear, what have you done to yourself?"
The soothing voice was heard near them again before a small poke from what felt like the tip of a needle or sharp claw would be felt on Lin's right side. Though, for her it would feel worse than just a poke. It would feel as if the claw spread a fire that burned through layers of skin and veins, entering her blood and passing through the stream. A feeling that would go away after the poke were done, about a second after it first landed, but the memory of it would likely linger for a while.
"Your energy bleeds child. It will hurt to touch that wound, yet to staunch the bleeding I am afraid that we must, even if there is little I can do with this limited space. Please, you who my daughter calls her friend, walk to my chambers, and I will see what is to be done when we meet."
The sound of a door creaking open further ahead were heard, and Omen towards it briefly before starring back at Serenade, awaiting what she'd do, oblivious to what had happened between Lin and Mother beyond the words she had heard.

As he got to the front of the line, a chipper looking earth pony with a milky-white, wild mane and tail, a cornflower-coloured coat and a dainty little hat woith a feather in it looked at the pegasi with a big grin on his face.
"Always nice to meet a new customer. What can I get you sport?"
It seemed like the one who owned the stand had been there long enough to remember a local from a newcomer/tourist, but like most in town, didn't get unfriendly because of that. A customer was a customer and a pony a pony after all, didn't matter where they came from before that.
A little above, Stargazer had taken notice of Rapid as well and flapped a little away from him, drinking his coffee and waiting for the pegasi to complete his purchase. He were in no great rush all things considered, and if he got testy about going off to get something, he'd be a hypocrite considering how the allure of coffee had drawn him in like a moth to a flame.

@@Moonlit,
"Yeah, that would likely carry a heck of a bias. Though..."
Ziggy tilted her head a little and scratched her scalp, trying to get the thought she just had to stay put.
"Well, won't she always have that bias unless she meets some nice ones? If she's a new princess, she might make all sorts of bad laws against sirens because she only met the roots of all evil and generalises, and those things can't be easy to reverse again if she eventually learns better..
Might be that if you, Princess Luna and her met alone, she could be convinced that not every siren is like the three. Though I guess Princess Luna would have already thought about that since she's supposedly super smart, huh? And there's the energy you say are bad around the new princess that might make things weird... Yeah, perhaps not a smart thought. At least not until it goes away from her I suppose.
Just thinking that, y'know, changelings are still allowed around, even after the invasion. Seems bad that you have to be hidden when they don't."

Can't see many issues with your joining mate, though if I may, I have a few minor questions.
1. The non-unicorn magic I presume will be some sort of dark magic, yes? Not that it needs to be from the dark ensemble, and might be a more harmless variant, but for a non-unicorn to use it is likely under the *give some, take some* category that is mostly encompassed by dark magic. Could be something minor like draining energy from the surrounding area (withered grass, dried up earth, that sort of thing) but just guessing.
Also, what sort of magic is it? Most tend to be focused in an area - not everyone can be the princess of magic after all - and curious what it might be.
Mostly the first part there is important though, as I try to figure out why it would be banned. It draining the environment would make sense as if that were a common magic usage, Equestria would be a barren wasteland, but it's just a theory at least. Not sure what your own ideas for it is.
2. The zebra you mentioned in the bios, I assume that would be an OC, and why you ask you can have more characters? (Which, of course, you are more than welcome to have). Just curious there again.
As mentioned, nothing major, and mostly just curious as to how things would work with your OC, so worry not, unless your reasons is *It is the Necronomicon lite book* you can consider yourself accepted.
We can discuss how to get you into the RP properly after the minor inquiry.

@@Moonlit,
"Oooh. Well, that makes a good deal of sense. Never figured magic left smells behind though. The things you learn, huh?"
Ziggy scratched her head. She had heard of residue being left behind before at the hospital, sure, but smells? She'd think that they would have included that amongst the whole *beware with magical residue when you treat a patient, or they could get a mutagenic infection* thing. Would make it easier to identify perhaps.
Then again... Might just be that not everypony could smell it? She knew that some smells were delicate and only could get traced by certain races or ponies with rare genes, so it were feasible she suppose... Something to think about later.
"So... What to do? Is there some kind of soap that can be used to scrub off things? Perfume to hide it? Or is this one of those *hush* *hush* things where I'm better of not knowing what's going to happen?"
She didn't find it any fun when there were things where she were told stuff akin to *it's above your pay grade* or *it's better you don't know* or of course the old stable *you wouldn't understand it anyway*. Still, she knew there were those sort of situations and she accepted that, even if it made her curious, and considering things, she figured that this might be one of those times. Most of the siren-related business seemed to be between just Princess Luna and Serenade herself, and Ziggy knew that sharing anything of the things she were aware of were bad, so she'd completely understand there being a limit to what she were to be told.
Still, she'd like to help her friend here in what way she could. Especially if it could stop a potentially biased pony from finding out there were a siren in the area, that she'd feel compelled to go after. Nothing good could come from that.

There were a point when Stargazer wasn't even sure if Rapid and hi were wandering the same path anymore in the market. A point that was reached about 10 seconds after he had first gotten the whiff of coffee when he saw the stand where the big barrel of dark, warm, energising brew were nested in, and he automatically went towards it and the small line at it.
It would take a few minutes, but eventually he'd reach the front desk and the clerk that remembered him from yesterday when he had also come around to get a big cup of joe. The Night Guard were an easy one to remember amongst the usual customers and considering that he once more bought the biggest cup that he could get, something told him that it were going to be a recurring meeting between them. Something that Stargazer didn't mind at all since without coffee, he had trouble handling these multiple days with little to no sleep runs that he had been through ever since he got to Ponyville.
Really, he were starting to get why Princess Luna had asked him to come here to help out.
His coffee on the go, Stargazer flew a few meters up and started to look around, seeing if he could find out where Rapid were. Might be he had been near him the entire time, but right in the moments before he had been able to get his hooves on the brew of life that he were now chugging down a little by little, his focus hadn't been all there.

"Ehehehe. Luther, the Mind Sculptor. Haves a nice ring to it."
Her mood seemed to have swung up a bit more on their way out of the cave if she felt like goofing around again, so by the time that Mr. Blackwater wanted them in she should be completely off to her old ways. Depending on how it would go with the patients that she likely had to deal with right now at the office that were.
Those ponies had gotten into her mind more as they had started to get out of the cave and the thought that there might be a line at her door, wondering why she wasn't opening up and helping them, were starting to pull in her the more she thought about it. She really Hoped there weren't a long line, but considering how it had been with Scarlet earlier... She couldn't rule anything out.
Which reminded her: she had to find Taps later too and ask about the panacea she used on Scarlet. It were some rather powerful stuff, and she'd really want to at least know What it was, and hopefully be told where she could find some herself. It would really be helpful to have some of that ready for the bad cases.
Though, with all of these things on her mind... Well, it wasn't Likely that she wee gonna miss the meeting with Mr. Blackwater as he got his way of burning what he said into your skull, but after the way she had forgotten about poor Dax - a situation she also had to handle at some point - perhaps she got so caught up in things that it simply got pushed back, if not forgotten entirely, before it was too late.
"Fun aside, I Really have to get back to the office and see if there's anypony there. Perhaps you can both come by later and we can follow to Mr. Blackwater's office? Been there once when a package got sent to my office instead of his, so I think I can find my way in there again - and hopefully not get lost for a half hour - but just thinking that perhaps you'd not want to get there on your own. Team power and all that, right?
Hehe. Anyway, I gotta go. Take care the both of you, and may the spirit of the floating potato kitten smile upon you."
With that she gave them a quick hug once more, then rose to the sky and set course for her office, praying every second that, by Celestia, it wouldn't be bad, and the worst of the injuries were over. Or at least that she had gotten there in time to avoid having to send anypony off to the hospital.

Ziggy opened her mouth to answer, but the things in her head weren't dissipated completely yet, so the only words that came out of her muzzle were *Rawr rawr*, which made her toss her hooves in front of her mouth to cover it up. Mainly to stifle a laughter.
"S-Sorry, had my thoughts elsewhere."
She took a few deep breaths and let down her hooves again, trying to be serious about things. Or well, as serious as the peppermint zebra seemed to be in general, but she held back any laughter at least, so that was the important part as far as she were concerned.
"Anyway, what I know about magic? Well, not much beyond zebra magic really, and that's a bit spotty too since there wasn't a lot of literature on that when I grew up, and dad couldn't be in the hospital to tell me stories that often.
Frankly, I mostly just know the general idea of the natural, element balance, the three prime elements of chaos, light and darkness, and the disputed element of soul. And the medical applications when they are in the hospital. Though how it works and the finer details I don't really know. Doctor studies took a lot of focus and we were advised to go with what we could, so since I'm not a unicorn or that good with zebra mojo, I was put on a study course that mostly boiled magic down to *Do as it says on the label, or ask a unicorn*."

That would be the last thing he said before returning to his shelf and the two of them leaving, giving Happy just the last look at things in the office and put down a few things mentally before this were done and they could get on their way towards the outside again.
"Heh, no worries Cyan. Truth be told, it have been nice to help you, though it would be nicer without the si-"
A pony bumped into him as he were speaking with Cyan, making him stop his sentence and feel a rapidly increasing urge to beat the offender up a little for this. He didn't have the chance though before he would go on, mumbling something about *the winds being crazy outside*.
Now that he listened though... He could swear he heard a few others speaking about the wind. Broken words here and there, yes, but rapid mention of the word along with *hurt*, *nowhere* and *bad omen*. Those were the things he could hear clearly at least as they passed a few towards the exit.
"Huh... I wonder what's going on..."
Honestly, *wonder* wasn't correct. A more accurate description would be that he were feeling slight fear and some paranoia about what was going on. A little talk about the weather shouldn't, but there had been something in the tones and such with ponies that didn't exactly instil him with a lot of confidence.

What an easily distracted nuisance this one were.
One of many thoughts that went through the head of Zhu as he ran forward, taking small leaps from side to side to not be easy to hit in case the creature had decided to try his hand at that. Something it seemed not to have done and instead focused on the man from another world. Not the smartest of things it could have done, but it would serve his purpose well.
It would be a little before he would get there, but when he did, he would take a large leap and go for a spot near where Sisilia where clinging to, fangs bared and ready to bite down and deliver his own part of the venomous cocktail the Creator had asked of him to dispense. And much like Sisilia, he weren't going to let go, but would to the best of his abilities wrap himself around the limb until there were no more toxin left in his venom sacks.
The venom that ran through him were an odd blend. In small dosages, it could make the victim face delusions and make them susceptible to input from what they could be lead to think were themselves, but as the dosages rose the state on the mind altering toxin would increase too, leading to even the hardest of minds to feel their sanity crack or their brain beginning to work against them in other ways. Though this he knew from what happened to normal beings, and depending on what he were willing to use. This would be the first time that he used it all, and the result would be... Interesting.
Even if he had seen things happen, and knew how the end could come through this, seeing it through another's eyes and his own weren't the same. it did not give him the perspective he needed at times, and when this one fell he would want to see it with his own two eyes, rather than the mirrors of others.

The caring voice blew around Lin again as Omen shot out her tongue, wrapped it around the handle briefly to open the door and show a long hall with pale, ghostly lanterns lining the walls stretched out before them. It seemed to be made from the same substance that this world were ripe with, yet this kept solid and unmoving instead of twitch and turn for little to no reason. You would also not see anything at all being there if you tried to watch from the other side of the door.

Okay, So many questions about this then. Not just the books - though she were really curious about those too - but about what Serenade's reply had meant. From the sound of it, a comment that related to her getting a thought about something when they had spoken about Zecora, though what exactly the thought might be she hadn't the faintest idea about right now, and she didn't think it nice to interrupt somepony writing. Unless they made a ticket that were, but that was a whole 'nother thing.
With that in mind, Ziggy just saw down on her stomach and started to look around from her seat, waiting for that special moment when it either seemed like it were okay to ask questions, or Serenade would start explaining.
It didn't really matter what thing happened first. She just had to stay focused on looking out for the moment. Let nothing distract her at all. No sirre, nothing. No. Ziltch. Not even the small flock of moths that seemed to fly in a heart shape out of the corner of her eye, or the thought that the lake was a sort of water monster that were gonna rise up Godzilla style and go *rawr, rawr* all over the place.

A little time passed as she heard the voices of the others before she started to crawl out of the hole again, looking rather jittery still, but starting to slowly getting down again and realising how silly she were being. Which in turn, made her blush up like a pyre when it started to sink in what she had actually just done.
Usually she kept her cool in things, even if she acted strange at times, and when it came to the boss there were usually little to be seen in her being scared or nervous about what he were going to do. But in the moment, when the adrenaline were running, the relief of seeing both Chuck and Oglevy get out of the hole safely, and still having the thoughts of the incident in the shed that she had promised not to tell Mr. Blackwater about, the very angry, shouting Blackwater boss that came out of nowhere had shaken her a little more than she felt comfortable admitting.
"I uhm... Heh, I guess that Was kinda silly..."
She didn't sound completely convinced yet as she lifted a hoof and scratched the back of her head awkwardly, but they had gotten through to her at least some, and she went over and drew them in to a small hug.
"Thank you guys, you're the best. Not just today, but in general too with all the hard work you do down here, keeping the mine going and make sure everypony's safe. This place would be a lot more dangerous without any of you here, and I wouldn't trade you for all the cupcakes in Equestria."
She would let go of them eventually, and when she did, she'd look a little more cheerful, smiling down on the two stallions with rosy cheeks and starting to think of times she could pull up as examples for these two to have saved the day. A task that quickly got out of hoof as they did a lot of good work daily here and just picking one moment would be near impossible.

Far as dad told me and my siblings, the ones strong with potions can mix the right ingredients with subtle magic and either see things in the surface of the brew in the cauldron, or have vision quests through the elixir that can be tapped from it. I think it might require something from a particular place or pony if it's to be focused enough, but I'm not entirely sure. Dad isn't a potion specialist and though my siblings are, they still have a good deal of learning to do.
Really though, I doubt you have to worry at all. Zecora seemed nice, and from what I saw and heard she's not a gossiper. More like a mystic, and those sorts never really say anything unless it's needed. Not sure why, but I figure they just like knowing things others don't."

Stargazer were trained to notice small things with ponies in his line of work, so he didn't miss the change in Rapid's behaviour when the friendlyness of the locals started to get a little more focused on him. Though he wouldn't have to be trained really to take notice in this, as the pony weren't exactly hiding his nervousness too well.
There were a few things he could say about this, some reassurances and warnings about a few he had taken notice of that might be worth avoiding for a small bit of time and so forth, but it was likely for the better that he instead just took the first few stepped towards the market and waited for the pegasi to follow him. Nervous folk didn't like to be focused on too much in his experiences, so unless Rapid felt like speaking about it, it were likely for the better to ignore the incident for the time being.
It was a pity that he were nervous like this as it were anyway to be honest. With the amount of random ponies giving him a passing, friendly wave, nod, smile or otherwise, he would have likely been able to land a bucket of friends in a few minutes to get him off to a good start in town.
But, all in its own time. Might be that some of the local smiles would eventually start to rub off on him and he would seek them out.

Stargazer noticed the hesitation from Rapid and stopped himself before getting back to the ground and folding in his wings again. He could stretch those later when he had to patrol things or something.
He tried to look around at what might have caught the interest of the pony, but there weren't much to see there all in all. Just the road to the castle they had been on, and the market, with a few stores here and there between the more food-based gathering of carts and such. and where they stood now. All things considered with what he had said before, and the fact that he didn't seem like he needed a dress, the market were likely the thing. Or the locals who were trying to make him feel welcome now and again. Some ponies were a little shy when it came to that.

"Sorry for the wait, our technician likes to triple check things. On the bright side, I now have some news to bring, if you are ready for them?"
Happy had essentially been quiet for the fifteen minutes that had gone since Cyan had last spoken, not sure what he were going to say to her about the self-medication that didn't come off as preachy or jerkish. Though she found it strange that Lin mentioned that she were right behind Omen when the later were transporting them on a small piece of *land* that meant they didn't have to move, she didn't think it meaningful to say something about it. Especially not compared to the question that were given.
"It is something we value. An object from another world, that holds form and shows of the wonders of the place where the sibling have brought it from.
We take many things here to show our siblings with no masters, so they can see what we do. Most of them break apart or Mother tells us to bring them back, but she let some things stay, and binds them to a place so others can always see them. 20 pillars from 20 worlds."
Omen went silent for a moment whilst she thought of the last time she had seen this pillar, whilst they rapidly got closer to the destination Mother had told them to go to.
"The fourteenth are from Equestria. Something I found before Master was taken. But you will see what it is soon. We are almost there."
Within a minute after saying that, they would land at a small place with 2 things that didn't seem to move. The first was the Pillar, which rested on a dark pedestal, floating in the air with a pale, ghostly glow around it. The pedestal weren't that tall, and neither were the item on it that were likely somewhat disappointing to Lin if she looked: A cube puzzle. Something which were essentially an old foal toy that had some buttons to push, and depending on the order, a side would buff up and either let out a small sound, a flag, show something inside or other, small things.
The second thing were somewhat simple too: A door. Not attached to anything, just a door in the middle of the air next to the pillar. There was little to it, with just looking like a darker version of an oak door, though there were a symbol on the doorknob that stood out a little of a feathery wing and a bat wing, spreading out from a ghostly looking heart.

They'd love her in Lad Pegasus though, that she were pretty sure of. Some of the shows there would kill for a chance to get something like her on stage, and the audiences there tended to be more into things the stranger the performers were.

It wasn't one that would be easy to see either, but if you looked up, and focused on one of the low hanging clouds, one seemed to be following them slowly that got a tail sticking out of it and a glimpse of foal-sized eyes could be seen now and again. Nothing that stood out as more than just odd, even if you did notice, but it were an interesting little thing nonetheless that Rapid might not take notice of either.

A flaw in Omen's design - if you could call it so - were the emotional part often were dulled down and hidden behind the more base, logical side of her. At times that were a good thing, as she kept her cool more and could see thing objectively if it were needed, but then there were times like this, when she saw the sister of her only friend going into a near panic and only responded by looking. Curious and with a hint of concern, but regardless, still she simply watched.
She felt no panic alongside Lin, nor fear for what were happening to her. Just thoughts on what could be happening, and wondering what she were going to say, since there was nothing she could really do. She were not magic, and this were a problem with magic.

"Focus your mind away from the fear, and save your strength. It will give you time."
"Mother... What should I do?"
This Omen could understand. Not the motives or what went on, but what Mother would wish for her to do. Mother, who had watched them, and now spoke to the dual personalities of Sen and Lin with the soft voice that almost seemed to embrace the listeners in a soft embrace.
"Lift your friends burden my child, and bring them to the fourteenth pillar."
With that, the voice vanished and the three of them were left behind again amidst the chaotic surroundings.
"The fourteenth pillar... She will wait there,"
She looked over to Lin - or Sen, if it had changed again - and tilted her head to the side before the ground beneath them suddenly shot up and the layer of the shadowy *rock* they stood on carried them on tendrils of shade. It were how Omen usually transported others in here, and she had done so with Sen before, but she had wanted to walk now to not miss any sign that Mother might be near, so this would not have been as effective.
Now though, she knew where they were going. It was just a question about who would be the one in control whilst they got there, and of course, when they would eventually arrive.

"From what you've said about Sirens, I'm guessing it's not easy to suppress that side when you go into the basics of your being like this, huh? Like an instinctual part is resonating when you get near and the vibrations gets stronger and tries to take over the more you're around it.
It's admirable that you can do it Serenade. Really is."

Honestly, my schedule changed all of a sudden yesterday, so I never got around to it because I didn't have the time I thought I would have. I might not be able to get a post in until Wednesday. Please understand that my car is in the shop, so I've been taking the bus or walking to work. It's really cutting into my spare time and energy. Hopefully I can get my car back soon so I can get back to posting at my usual pace.
That sucks dude. :/ I hope your car gets fixed soon.

No, your Rapid post were responded to at the bottom of page 169, and Seamore already told you that the Twilight post would take a bit longer.
Please check OOC and posts the next time so I don't have to have the satisfaction of teasing you like this.
Hehehehe.

@everyone
Gonna have to push my replies back a day, sorry. Between the runny nose and my lungs trying to escape, I'm not really in a position to be able to get anything done. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow.
Casual Stroll - An Introductionary RP mainly around Equestria OOC [Open Entry For All]
in OOC & Discussion
@,
There's no way to make it short mate without skipping a lot of details, but if you want to go to Ponyville, I can skip the part about the main one, as that have currently locked down Ponyville and makes it so that no others can enter. Still, other Ponyville settings are there of course.
To try and give a short one of that one though, there is a lot of different species - some on the spirit plane - being *led* by a big, talking hippo with wings against a being that is currently not viewable, but might be soon as we are drawing towards the end. The thing they are against is currently known as The Forgotten One and is roughly a thing that takes you away from this world, memory and all, and gets stronger by it. It sort of looks like a big blob with arms and such far as I recall, but my memory is kinda bad so I apologise to @@Seamore Sandwich, if it's wrong, as it's his creation.
The town is locked down with a sort of *dome* of strong winds, so if you'd like to be part of this RP, you'd have to start outside and eventually come in when things are done.
We have another team doing that, consisting of my OC Happy Hour and @@Wolves, OC Cyan, that have left the hospital to see the bdome over the town. You could meet with them if it were.
Another group that have some interest in town is some outside influences that have yet to actually go there, and because of guard presences I have some doubts that you will be able to get near them without being caught. Though, if you feel like that, they are in the Everfree Forest around magical trees, and consists of changelings, a few large foxes, some spiders, a talking cat, a plant and a pony. (I apologise if I forgot anypony)
Beyond that, we have some groups in sort of different timelines. As I do not want to restrict, all are permitted to have their own fun and not be part of the main, so they can have their own things with calmer towns and such where there is currently issues going. One of those is the teaming of my OC Ziggy, and @@Moonlit, OC Serenade, who's a hidden Siren. They are just starting a new evening, so you might be able to say some hi's and stuff there, but if it is, no godmodding and knowing she's a siren on sight. The cloaking magic is pretty effective to show her as just a pegasi, so she should be seen as that generally.
There's a few other groups too, but most of them are slower in it than you might want to be part of.
There is one made of:
@@Stardust Balance,
@@Glike,
@@Dark Horse,
That are having some fun in town. Not part of that one so can't say, but they might welcome a new face if asked.

@@Minty_The_Sweet,
They all seem perfectly workable mate and you're free to use all three if you so wish. ^^ Though, if you want to only list one, I can list them in the order I think looks best perhaps? Just my opinion of course,. and you can pick and toss however you see fit.
1. Princess Butterfly
2. Crystal Ball
3. Minty Sparkle
My reason is simply that Butterfly seems to have the most depth and easiest story to work with for a first place. As you have not said what hive she is part of and are heir to (there are several after all, with each their own queen) you can make up your very own if you wish to, or go with the nearby and familiar Chrysalis hive all the same. Both works well really, and I think it could be fun to have her meet a few of my changelings.
Crystal Ball (tragic story by the way, poor foal.
) is the next one as she have some limitations, but she's mould-able in her approach to things from what it looks like - as in, she is not chained down by canon stuff and the like - and could be interesting to have around too. I can think of a few that might be interested in meeting her frankly, my own OC's included. Something of note is that I have a demonic mare of sorts in things, so if you want to evolve towards getting sight or magic back at some point to the character, there is also the chance to do that long term. (the demon mare is unlikely to ask for your soul, so worry not) Just mentioning in case.
I also have a blind OC called Briar that she might relate with some.
Minty Sparkle... She haves potential too, but I'm slightly worried about her in the sense that while she fits, you would likely either have to have Celestia hidden her after Luna came back, or have a bit of tension going after she met her half-clone. It's not saying this isn't a great character with potential, and I Do allow Alicorns, just saying that it will require something with the princesses interactions that should be less than ideal, looking at the story in your bios.
I'm sure you'd do great still, but I get paranoid about little things.
Perhaps one you chose what one(s) you want to use, we can mix it up with something including @, too and have a load of fun? If he's up for it of course, but just a suggestion. Can have you both on very different things with no issue.
Oh, and if you didn't get it this far: You're approved for all three, with the footnote on the Alicorn. ^^
