  1. I was a fan of the original MLP. Granted, I was about 4 or 5 at the time so I didn't realize how cheesy it was. Even so, I still have a special place for it in my heart. MLP FIM is far superior and improved upon the franchise in every way conceivable but a classic is a classic and I appreciate Hasbro for having given me some great childhood memories.
  2. Why does anyone really need to tell or confess they are a brony to anyone, let alone parents? Unless you want to. I don't understand why so many seem so concerned with what others think of them and their likes. Who cares? You're opinion is the only one that counts. As a gay man, I learned that lesson. You can only live the life that makes you happy and you don't have to share everything with everyone, unless you want to. It's up to you. Basically, do what feels right for you and to hell with the rest. Ya know?
  3. Oh, that's pretty cool then. I'd like it for my own personal laptop but not for the entire world to see. No, not because I'm embarrassed but simply because there is more to me than ponies.
  4. Maybe one day. Who knows? Life may end here and continue on somewhere else in the galaxy. I think life goes in cycles. We can only guess at how long ours will last. We should still have a ways to go since humans as we know them haven't been around all that long compared to other species that were wiped out.
  5. Why do we pay haters so much attention? IGNORE the negative and enjoy the positive. Life is too short to be so concerned with what others think of you and your likes and dislikes. Live YOUR life and do the things that make YOU happy.
  6. I'm confused. Can everyone see it or just the person who installs it?
  7. I always really liked that pony and actually still own it. As far as this generation goes, I've never actually watched them and don't really plan on it. Appears brainless. What I appreciate about FIM is that there is a story and relationships and things make sense within this fictional world. It's not all random hogwash. That's a big reason I hate the new Care Bears. They really screwed the pooch with that one. -_-
  8. ^ See, we're so awesome that we are too modest to accept a compliment.
  9. I never said we are perfect. I actually pointed it out right in the original statement. However, bad days, warts and all... we are generally a very nice community. Go to any Lady Gaga fan site (or equivalent) and you'll see what I'm talking about. Our sole purpose here isn't to tear down others to make our idols appear superior. We aren't constantly negative. I indeed think we are rather awesome.
  10. It doesn't matter how often it's used or really even in what context. Wrong is wrong. We all know the meaning behind the word and it is almost always used to hurt a minority. I'm not condemning anyone or trying to come down on anybody but a bigoted word really has no place in modern society. Just my opinion.
  11. Is that a real term? I hope not. I find it very offensive as a gay person who has had to deal with bullying over my sexuality.
  12. I just wanted to give us bronies mad props for being so respectful and generally awesome. I'm a member of other online communities and so often they are filled with venom and bile. Seriously. I'm a big pop fan so the stan wars between fan bases of Lady Gaga, Britney, Madonna (etc) is maddening! I know it's the internet but that's no excuse to treat others like garbage. So, yeah, I just wanna give love to my fellow bronies for being able to express themselves without hurting others. It's so nice to have a peaceful place to hang out at and be myself. No drama. And yeah, I know that things aren't always perfect but compared to others, we're all freaking saints!

Don't have to be a psycho super fan like me. It's cool. A perfect summer single and video. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkYyqxHdwNg&list=UUmQmc-Y4N9btVMUS1BfnyDw&index=1&feature=plcp
  14. Same at my Target. Toys R Us is doing a buy one get one free deal and I totally capitalized on it.
  15. There's all sorts of reasons to love or hate something. The only thing that truly matters is what YOU think.
  16. No, I wasn't aware of that. Thank you so much.
  17. I like her just fine but she's probably my least fave personality wise out of the 6. I've never been in to the vanity types as far as characters go.
  18. Anyone else collecting these? I know Hasbro uses the same molds of the mane 6 for all of them BUT I'm still collecting and I am only missing one - Rarity. Seems she lives up to her name. Anyone willing to trade me? I want the card that comes with her as well. The following list is of the doubles I've gathered since first starting my blind bag collection (cards included with each).: Take your pick! Applejack Pinkie Pie Lucky Swirl Pepperdance Lemon Hearts Sweetie Blue Cherrie Spices
  19. I don't care what anyone else thinks, I LOVE and must HAVE them all. WHEN DO THEY COME OUT?!?!
  20. MLP is alive and well. Everyone should just enjoy it and not worry about what is to come. Live in the present.
  21. I'd take a quick peek and leave. I don't waste my time with hate. That's for immature idiots and losers.
  22. I'm not worried about the show. We could get up to 5 seasons. It really depends how profitable it remains for Hasbro. No matter what, MLP will live on in our hearts and most likely in reruns for generations to come. Don't worry, be happy!
  23. What would I do? Simple... I would live pretty much as I do now but without debt. I wouldn't go on a spending spree and get a bunch of stuff I don't need. Sure, I would buy the best TV or this or that but it would be things that I would use on a daily basis. You wouldn't see me with 5 cars or more than one house. Nope, I'd continue my simple lifestyle but my house would actually be paid for. What a wonderful feeling that would be. I can't imagine what it must feel like to have actual extra spending money. I never have that. I struggle from week to week for the most basic stuff. Ugh. Dreaming about this type of thing is nice but it's also sort of depressing because I know it's very unlikely. P.S. I would take care of my family and make sure no one is hurting for anything.
  24. Anyone else a fan? I just started getting in to it but I really enjoy it so far. It's so quirky and all around silly (in a good way).
