I never took and probably won't ever these guards seriously; they're kind of incomptent, let's face it... first of all, I take what we see in the show as what would happen in the true universe, so when I see them (and Sombra's soldiers) fight like... cats, litterally, it's not because it's a kid's show, no, it's because that's what is hapening in the true MLP universe, and that's kind of... well, I'm gonna be quiet about that, even if their efficacity is debatable... But another episode in which I understood that they're not a big deal is the one in which Rarity is a detective; I remember that they were distracted by a cake. A cake. That's the people who are supposed to protect the monarch; yeah, efficacity at its peak. Of course, they said their situation was "bad", but when you begin such a job, you're not supposed to be distracted by a cake. And that's why I just can't take them seriously... the plot could be asking for it, but then, that universe is what we have as reference, and they're not that great in it. -

Do Earth ponies have the potential to be the most op race?

I don't think they could manipulate the earth's energy, or magma's erengy (even if they could try to manipulate the elements themselves), but we can find something op to every race I think. Well you say it's not just dirt and such, but searching to extend their power to harness the plants' life energy for exemple is... too much, let's say. I like to think that their magic, as a passive one, allows them to be super strong, as it also permits pegasi to fly for exemple. But of course, nothing says that every race can't try to use another type of energy other than magic (you talked about Hamon, correct me if I'm mistaken but I think you're talking about Jojo's Hamon here), but then evey race should be able to do it, and it's something which don't really have any link to magic itself... I don't know if I'm clear enough. I agree with the fact that they could have affinity, let's say, with earth bending, but life's energy and energy in general? Nah, don't think so, or else we could say that pegasi can control molecules as they control clouds, don't know if it's a fine exemple, but well -

While I'm of the opinion that people should have the freedom to decide what to do with their lives, perhaps it might be worthwhile making a Life Advice topic about this and your feelings and such before going through with anything? Suicide isn't a decision to take lightly, I may not know how much thought or planning has gone into this but, I'm sure at least talking about it on here can do no harm, you'd have nothing to do lose by doing so.

Well, I'm very glad to hear you're doing better now in that case! Hopefully whatever was troubling you when you made this update won't be causing you any more hassle from now on; even if it does though, try your best to give your troubles a hard time too and find some support wherever you can, no matter how minor it may be. Life can be incredibly rough, but human willpower can fight a fair battle against it

All of these are good ideas; I would personally go with the alternate Sunset Shimmer thingy, or maybe introduce another whole kingdom? I mean, the MLP world is kinda small, we don't really know a lot of species who live under some kind of society: ponies, changelings, zebras (not sure but meh), yaks, griffons; not a lot, in my taste in the very least. Adding another kingdom would be interesting, they could for exemple be another peaceful species who don't really believe in friendship, but let's say, understanding, and order? Would be kind of interesting to see I think, to see such contrast; could teach the children that there is more than one way to live -

Well, yes, I really think there could be, at times, too much influence over the show; I mean they did an entire episode about secondary characters, copying and pasting pretty much the idea the fandom is making over each or each character. I'm not saying it's 100% bad, but they should try to create something new, next time -
