Given the need for him to brumate due to health and how it equates the two, it makes Dash look idiotic without even proper justification." Wait, Tank needs to brumate to stay healthy... It's healthy for him because he cannot function well in the winter weather, so he brumates to conserve energy. If Rainbow Dash is trying to stop winter from coming, to stop the cold weather from coming... doesn't that make "Rainbow Dash could harm Tank" a non-issue?

    Yeah i agree, I've stopped simply looking at review scores and actually read the reviews. If there has to be a summations I'd prefer a concluding statement or a list of pros and cons. Even then, reading the entirety of the review is still better. For a more comedic take, ProJared gives a score that is more of a metaphor for the game rather than a quantitative grading of its quality. For example: Alone in the Dark was a game that had too many ideas that none were polished or expanded upon so his score was "Too much candy" out of ten.

    Small concern about Slice of Life: in the 22 short films (SImpsons episode) all the side characters had established personalities to work off. The ponyville folk's personalities are mostly fanon, and their's nothing to work with in the actual show.

    So if episode 9(of season 5) is supposed to air on june 13 and episode 8 airs on May 23, that's 2 pony-less weekends... in addition to the skip between 6 and 7 (groans)

    Whoa, you got this up fast! I am excited to see them try to explore Equestria, but I hope that there will still be time for slice of life episodes since those are my favourites.

    After rewatching a few classic episodes of the simpsons, you pick up on a lot of little subtleties that made the show so great.

      Most shows are like that, especially ones you got into when you were too young to initially pick up on some more complicated aspects of the humor.

    "How would you like it of every one was flying with 10.0 wingpower, and you were only flying with 2.3" "Well I... uhhh, I..." "EXACTLY! Humiliated. I'm sorry Rainbow Dash, I just can't do it." This is sad on two levels. Fluttershy feels like she doesn't measure up to the other pegasi, showing how much the bullying from the past has affected her. But also Rainbow Dash has trouble trying to figure out how to tend to her. She has trouble relating to her and giving the right words to help her, despite wanting to fly with her best friend.

    I don't care for EQG but it is canon and the events are known to the main characters. Nothing I can do about it.

    I guess the character designs. I don't like the skirts, or the way the torsos look like they only have 10% of the character's body weight.

    Because plot convenience... But outside that, I think Fluttershy is a decent flyer hampered by insecurities. Adrenaline and focus, however can do wonders. Faster than Rainbow Dash though... no.

    I personally love them. Their episodes usually have really good morals, a lot of charm, and are usually pretty funny too. Hell, I actually look forward to CMC episodes. Maybe it's because they're children who have some growing up to do, but the lessons they learn are usually quite good. Every episode has given them some decent character development, and has given them interesting conflicts. I think what I also like about them is that they don't feel as... archetypal as the Mane 6. In their episodes, they don't feel as exaggerated as the Mane 6 tend to feel. For the sake of comedy or plot, the Mane 6 can be written as exaggerated at times, but the CMC have mostly avoided this. So, what do you think of the little fillies?

    I guess I'll go with "Lesson Zero" just for how batshit insane Twilight goes. (The rest of the mane 6 were pretty funny too)

    I don't have much of an opinion on Flash Sentry, since i don't think about him that much, but if he indeed is a parody or a joke character... well he's not a well done joke character. It still feels like he fulfills the role of a high school romance interest and the plot kind of stops when he's around. I just don't care and have no strong opinion about him, one way or another.
