    G2 lasted between 1997 to 2003, but it ceased distribution in many places, including America, in 98. Don’t let G3 hate fool you, that’s only from adult bronies, but G3 was highly successful with it’s intended audience

    Hasbro is pretty quiet with G5, but I no longer think G5 is a failure, but rather a modest success. Not something to be axed now, specially knowing G2, an actual failure, lasted about as long as G5 has gone now

    Or a direct distant sequel for all that matter I don’t think they are axing G5 so soon tho. For what I’m guessing, they may go all crazy to finally make the full encounter with Twilight, or introduce other races like divine dragon horses

    Oh, ok. Yeah, it’s seen people repeating over and over this is an alt universe because the idea of G5 being a sequel is so repulsive to them, basically . Regardless, it’s possible they’ll keep references at a minimum even if they get G4 rights back next year, BUT, there’s definitely an encounter with nerd poneh in the future

    I much agree it wasn’t special, but never expected it to be. Still, I’d liked they never recycled FIM episodes, with the introduction of new characters and returning characters did something different instead of a rehash.     I’m sure the inconsistencies between MYM and TYT is due to being sourced to different writers and animators, A DIFFERENT COUNTRY EVEN; so inconsistencies are more likely. And a smaller scale show like TYT is bound to be less concerned with little details like that. I mean, it’s a hard job being up to date to constant changes with one show already, imagine two
