Do European Countries have more tolerance for Bronies?
Razorwind replied to cider float's topic in Sugarcube Corner
As much as I hate to say that, Poland isn't very tolerant country. Just look at our president election this month. Conservative candidates took about 90% of votes. Well, some of them voted for Kukiz (20%) to oppose those, who rule today, but still... It hurts socialists like me. Many Poles tend to think of MLP as a show for gays (homophobia is strong here) and bronies are often thought to be freaks or homosexual by 'normal' people. Of course there are many tolerant people in Poland, but bronies are often sincere about their opinions only in groups of other show fans. So, I'm not gonna say we're more tolerant than US, but let's be honest, in some cases we're worse than Vatican. -
Guys, is everyone so friendly here? I think I'll soon change my mind about how MLP affects people (it didn't change me, I think). If I would have to choose my favourite pokemon it would propably be glaceon or shaymin (depends on my mood). Absol is on top though, I still remember having one in Emerald. Man, I need to buy that 3ds... Blast you, driver's license! Shame on you for taking away so much fun from me! Anyway, once again, you're all awesome guys. When I started watching show I thought that Bronies are bunch of freaks or lunatics, but now I think of myself as one of you. Brohoof (man, it feels so strange to write that)! Isn't my welcoming too long already?

general What were you doing just 10 minutes ago?
Razorwind replied to Lisa's topic in General Discussion
Drinking a cup of nice tea in the afternoon (or evening, I'm not sure when it starts, it's almost 8 p.m. in my country). And before anyone asks, I'm not from England. -
I'm Pole, but from what I know, my last name propably came from Hungary. So, for Hungarians: 'Lengyel, Magyar – két jó barát, együtt harcol, s issza borát' (Did I wrote it the right way?).

mega thread What game are you playing right now?
Razorwind replied to Mint Petal's topic in Media Discussion
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines (any fans here?), even if RPG system is better. Still trying to figure out if there's a good way to block or it is just doesn't do much. -
Your Online Personality vs Your Offline Personality
Razorwind replied to SanityNotIncluded's topic in General Discussion
In real world I tend to stay away from just about everyone excluding family and close friend (exactly one). I'm totally shy, introverted, I can't start a conversation and things like that. Also offline, I am a thoughtful guy, I think alotta thoughts about alotta things. But online I become a little louder, I can talk more than normally. I'm also ready to share my opinion, I'm not afraid everyone will make fun of me. I'm better person in the internet, I think, or at least more sociable. -
gaming What is the most recent video game you beat?
Razorwind replied to Sepia-chan's topic in Media Discussion
Dragon Age: Origins or Mortal Kombat 9... Few months ago... I can't really make myself complete any game right now. I doesn't mean I wasn't trying: Neverwinter Nights, Mass Effect, Baldur's Gate (um... BioWare fan?), Oblivion, Skyrim, old Deus Ex, few Total Wars, Dawn of War... It's like a curse. I'm becoming a casual player. -
S05:E08 - The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone
Razorwind replied to Jeric's topic in Season 5 Discussion
In my opinion, it's definitely better to send two ponies instead of whole mane six to do the job. We can focus on the characters instead of the group. And of course it shows how do relationships work between different ponies. In one word: awesome. Obviously there will be more episodes in that style and I can't really wait to see them. That being said, I love just about every episode where Pinkie plays an important role. I don't know why, but she just makes me happy. It didn't change this time. -
What foreign countries have you visited?
Razorwind replied to Sweetie-Belle's topic in General Discussion
Why does so few people travel to Poland? It's not only country of workers, who can't speak english and car stealers. But, back to the topic... I was only in Germany, for a week or two, but it was great. I was part of student exchange and I lived with german family. I still can't understand why did they drink cola instead of tea for breakfast. I can't live without a tea! Is it normal in Germany? And I was fooled when they told us that we'll eat 'wurst' (sausages). In Poland this may mean two things: 'kiełbasa' (one of my favourite meals there are) or 'parówka' (I don't really like it). I hoped for the first... Still, Germans, I love you! -
Why does everyone hate math so much? I don't really get it, but it's propably because I hate it too. PE used to be the worst, but the teacher has changed and now we only play football (soccer, if you're from US). Physics was even worse, but I don't learn it now. English is kinda easy for me, but that's because it's foreign language for me. Polish (I'm from Poland) isn't bad either, I actually love interpreting poems and reading (good) books. History? Until it's not modern era, it's interesting. Can I ask you a question? How many different classes do you have in other countries? In Poland, in second year of liceum (your high school I think, starts at the age of 16) I have 10 classes and I'm focusing on humanities.

I've got something in style of 80s. David Hasselhoff, 'True Survivor'. But that's propably because I've just watched Kung Fury. Awesome movie, really awesome. -
Do you ever get nervous over small things?
Razorwind replied to Le Kvlt Dawn's topic in General Discussion
Worrying? It's my middle name! Has anyone heard about social phobia? You know, you may be a little afraid of interactions with others, their effects and things like that. I have very strong social phobia. I'm worried about what am I going to say when someone says 'Hello!' to me. I'm worried when I have to tell my opinion in front of a class or even write it on a paper. I get nervous when PE starts, cause I'm scared that I'll be worse than others. I never talk to the group, I'm kind of an outsider. When I say something in public, my hands are shaking the whole day. Oddly, in the internet I get better, as you can propably see. So, yup, I do get nervous over small things. I really hate that part of me, really. And please, tell me I'm not the only one here with problems like that. -
Is everyone here Pokemon fan? My first? Fire red, back when I had my gameboy. Now I'm saving for 3ds, but I have to get a driver's license and that's not really cheap. But maybe in few months... And I thank once again for that amazing welcome. It's not in my style to post images, but...

Kung Fury... I you didn't watch, you have to. One of the best Kickstarter projects ever. With such low budget... If you like climate of 80s or making fun of it. It was just released on 28 may, so it's still new. Look for it on YouTube, it's completely free and it's not really long (31 minutes). Triceracop and Hackerman rule!

Oh, wow, that's great! Possibly are there any Godzilla fans too! You know, you really made me feel better today. I honestly smiled. And that's awesome, because I was really close to depression. Blast that, I'm making myself a martyr there. But sincerely thanks for everything. I think I'm getting more socialized.

Thanks, it's great to see there are people kind to me. Most of the time I feel so different, especially in school, where I'm just standing around. That site may be one of the best things ever happened to me! By the way, Lemon Stripe, is that shiny Rayquaza on your signature? How many Pokemon fans is there among the bronies?

Ave! New guy here! I wonder how many bronies do like Pinkie Pie because of her ability to, you know, socializing, making friends. And I mean those fans who actually would like to be more... like her. Those who are shy, quiet, extremely introverted, things like that. I was wondering if there's more people who act like her or those who want to. I belong to the second group, just to admit. My first post outside the welcoming topic... I'm kind of nervous. Hope I did well. Introverts of all lands, unite (I know it's hard)!

Yeah, I guess that's not bad start. Still, befriending is not my specialty. I'll do my best and I know you'll do too. Thanks for warm welcome, I'm liking this place more and more.

My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie How did you find MLP Forums?: I was surfing on the internet, then I thought 'why not try to enter this intriguing fandom?'. I came to this site and I created the account. So here I am... How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: My brother was a fan of the cartoon and I loved those amazing songs, when he was listening to them. Then I decided to try watching the show and I became addicted. What should I write? My favourite pony is Pinkie Pie, but not because I'm similar to her, but rather cause she's acting like I'd want to. I'm more like Fluttershy, I can't really start a conversation (social phobia and things like that). I decided to create an account here to train social skills being (at least a bit) anonymous. What can I tell about myself? I'm from Poland, I'm 18, I'm male. I'm not into drawing, but I'm not bad writer and singer. I have the soul of the artist (or that's what everyone tells me), kind of a melancholic, introvertic and sad-looking guy. I also like cotton candy (which completely doesn't suit my personality) and I love watching football (I mean european football, soccer). I listen to many kind of music, but most often it's something odd to 'normal' people: classics, hard rock (okay, that's not odd), piano and sometimes gospel. I'm not gonna talk about politics and please don't make me to, I would write to much. I guess that'll do, right? And in the end: nice to meet you all!
