  1. How could anyone think that understanding physics is easier than biology? I guess my mind just works differently.

  2. I have something similar to that. I assume it's because I've watched so many gameplay videos with commentary talking over them that I feel inclined to do the same thing and talk over a game I'm playing. I feel as if I'm talking to an audience that I know in the back of my head is nonexistent, yet I do it anyway.
  3. I'm sure that if it was a full out war from both sides, a magical barrier could only do so much against a wide-scale nuclear bombardment and our advanced weaponry and transportation. Human casualties would involve having the love sucked out of them or having their legs being transformed into candy canes by magic while pony casualties would include bullet holes, radiation and diseases. -_-
  4. I wonder if any show in the future will have the same magical appeal that FIM has... or had.

  5. Shenmue III AND FF7 remake? Sony's DESTROYING the competition right now!

  6. If we've blindly used it for centuries, it's perfectly O.K. regardless of the obvious health risks. If it's something different and somewhat new that some old people are uncomfortable with and is so much less harmful than tobacco and affects no one but the user, We need to make it illegal. GG 'Murica you know what's best. Seriously, if you're going to make weed and other drugs illegal in the majority of the country, you might as well make tobacco illegal since it's one of the most deadly products you're distributing throughout the country.
  7. Streets of Rage. After the 3rd game from the mid 90's, we've seen so many prototypes for cancelled potential installments for the series, one from this decade, that I'm almost pissed off that Sega hasn't released a new one yet.
  8. Not really. I picked Rarity as my favorite because of the Element of Harmony she represents. Really, her personality can sometimes be the most annoying of the six. XD
  9. How about we compromise... Engrish?
  10. "HoE" stories? I've never heard of those before. And trust me, I've got more ideas for random stories floating through my mind, sometimes more than I'd like. One of these happens to be based on MLP. If you like, I can tell you my idea and you'd be fully free to use. And trust me, my story "can be pretty dark at times." Here's a hint; most of the story, if not nearly all of the story, doesn't take place in Equestria. It's definitely MLP related, though.
  11. No one does. Those who claim they can change their emotional attitude quickly are either lying to themselves or ignorant of how deep emotions are engraved in the subconsciousness. The fact is that it is possible to change, though.
  12. Try to read the comments, acknowledge them and simply move on after that. It's of no consequence. If you really like a certain comment, good. If not, don't focus too hard on it. Unless it's providing constructive criticism, it has no value to you. This is the internet. 72.3% of people lack empathy towards others and will not think twice about calling anything they don't like harsh terms. Accepting that makes it much easier to deattach yourself from all of the strong emotions connected to the negativity. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with having strong emotions, far from it, but you need to be able to control when you want said emotions to occur in the first place. This is no test that will determine your future, no loved one has passed away, nor has anyone threatened you with harm (If one of those has happened, I'm sorry I brought it up). It's just a few stories/fanfictions, nothing more, nothing less. Trust me, if you were perfectly calm and collected and could see yourself right now, you'd probably chuckle. Trust me, I've had similar situations where I would laugh at myself during self-reflection. If it puts you more at ease, I'd recommend fleshing out your ideas with several rough drafts prior to uploading a final idea online.
  13. A good, not great, creepypasta that became much more popular than it should have. Seriously, the "I AM GOD" thing at the end had my laughing my butt off. Even the Tails Doll is scarier than that bloody Sonic recolor. We really need to get rid of all of this "hyper-realistic" garbage, though. It's become the most annoying cliche in creepypastas. That and the whole .EXE thing also.
  14. I could buy a Nintendo console for the Zelda games alone. <3

  15. I'd wonder where I could find and talk with some religious folk. I'm sure I could find plenty of Westboro church members drinking tea there. Or maybe god got so confused as to what people consider good and bad that he cancelled the system all together. Satan's unemployed and looking for work. But really, both heaven and hell are such complicated and inconsistent ideas that it's doubtful that you'd truly go there. When you die, you'll go wherever your heart believes you should go. You can register this as either heaven or hell depending on your earthly experiences, I suppose. Trust me, some people enjoy physical pain and torture, whether it be of themselves or of others. You think waking up in hell for them would really be what we call "hell"? For some people, the idea of speaking to god in person or being reincarnated would be their equivalent of hell. So what do they get? Or it could be the stereotypical approach which involves someone burning in a pit of fire with good old Lucy by your side. What type of pain do you feel? You're dead; your pain receptors are no longer functioning, so it couldn't be physical. Mental and/or emotional pain? An all loving god would not permit such suffering without reason, so perhaps you're just stuck in the void of unknowing despair you created in your mind during your physical life and god trying to free you would be pointless. Maybe god's description of love is far different than ours, although I suppose you could make the argument about how terrible life in 3rd world countries and even in 1st world countries would prove a lack of love at all. However, If god has a set, strict law of what is good and bad, like humans do, god would be no better than the worst of humanity with some super powers thrown on the side. If god were truly like that, the universe wouldn't exist with the complexity we know it with and "hell" wouldn't exist. There's no justice system similar to that of earth where we have courts and judges that, by our own flawed and ignorant definition of good and bad, pass judgement. Regardless, I'm sure that heaven and hell are just side effects of the ego taking it's tole on what was once a clean slate. You're not going there, so don't worry. If you think you did poorly the first time, I sure that you could come back some other time... Short answer: pain pain pain, scream scream scream, why lord, blah blah blah...
  16. ooooh, a topic about hell. This ought to be entertaining. :)

  17. How is the new episode?

  18. My name is short for Leon Shiva, a video game character who's one of the main bosses in the Sega game franchise Streets of Rage. The guy knows what he's doing. He's the reason why I greatly increased my flexibility and learned how to do a (no hands) kick up. Still weaksauce compared to him, obviously. Oh, and the number 500 is also pretty cool.
  19. Indigo. It's such a rich and deep color.
  20. I keep hearing that the 100th episode will change a lot of fan theories about the show. Why?

So this episode is mainly about the side characters and not the mane 6?

    3. ShadOBabe

      ShadOBabe

Yep, that's the entire premise. A whole slice of life episode about the background ponies while the Mane Six are off having an adventure somewhere.

I can hear the wails of fic writers now...

  21. People are lazy and want an easy, if not typically ineffective, way to determine someone's intelligence. A number makes that possible. Unless there's a noticeable trend of an incredibly low or high IQ after taking several different IQ tests when the tester's mental health is well and stable, they're worthless. Even then, they can only tell you so much.
  22. Besides, if we've recorded nearly 1700 different planets in our galaxy and have only landed man on the moon, I think it's far to say that aliens that can travel all across the galaxy should know about many more planets than we do, Earth included. If these hypothetical intelligent aliens exist, it would be pointless to sent out a signal unless that signal had a specific request in mind.
  23. When you're listening to an audio book that records someone knocking on a door and you get up to check your own door.

  24. The relationship this man has with his pet fox is simply adorable.
