  1. Was this the abstract to the 30 page scientific paper you and your team of DnD players made?
  2. I don't own any gaming consoles anymore and I don't plan to get any, but the Wii U looks like a very fun console. I love Nintendo for making such fun games, even if they aren't making very economically-intelligent decisions. The Mario and Zelda games on the Wii U look very fun, and I love how Twilight Princess is being remade. Sonic Lost World looks like a nice throwback to the classic Sonic games I used to play as a kid. It's a shame the Wii U is doing poorly, and I predict that the NX will become the next Dreamcast. It won't have as negative effects on Nintendo as the Dreamcast did with Sega, but the situation will be similar, too little too late, and it will cost Nintendo quite a bit.
  3. I don't play many modern video games anymore, but I thought the new Battlefront game looked great. I was considering buying a PS4 for it. I love how it only focused on the original trilogy, as I really did not like any of the prequels. I liked the side content we got as a result of the prequels, such as the clone wars cartoons (both of them), the great games based on them that came out for the original Xbox, interesting books, and some fantastic characters like General Grievous. It looks like a solid game that seems easy to get into. Unfortunately, it's expensive as hell. The total game costs over $100 with the Season Pass. I recently found out new details on the season pass thought. The expansion packs will include new Tatooine maps, the Deathstar and Bespin. I think that this is great, but not worth the $50. Maybe $30 would be more fitting instead. It sucks that Han's blaster, the DL-44, is overpowered. I think it should have been exclusive to Han Solo, but of course it won't be nerfed because it's the catalyst that got customers to pay the extra $10 to get the game with the weapon earlier. They won't hurt their cash cow now, will they? :diamondtiara: I also disliked how the unlockable skins for the Empire were so limited. I thought the Rebels were pretty diverse, but C'mon developers, you have so many different types of Stormtroopers to work with. The game itself certainly looks beautiful. I'd go out and say it's the most graphically impressive game ever made, unless you have a specific artsy-fartsy type of game in mind. I really don't think that the game deserves all of the hate it gets with the exception of how overly expensive it is.
  4. Let's just say that my 3.7 GPA in high school meant absolutely nothing outside of scholarships. It didn't mean I was smart or dumb, it didn't mean I was ready for the real world, and it didn't mean that I was ready for college, regardless of what some of my upper level classes said to me. The only thing I considered useful in high school were my science classes, especially my human anatomy class. Not only was it interesting, it proved to be very useful and important later on. Teachers are improving, that much is definitely obvious and I've noticed that throughout my time in grade school. I have to give them credit for what they do, trying to accommodate the subject they teach for a large variety of students. I couldn't see how you could do it. It always seemed like some people were just naturally able to do certain classes better than others, as unfortunate of a reality as that is. The teachers try hard (at least, most of them do) and it seem to be unpredictable as to whether or not they'll succeed or fail to try to make every student in their class excel in the material. I don't think that the teachers are the problem, far from it, it's the subjects themselves that some people just don't know how to properly adjust to. I'm sure everyone is capable of learning any subject sufficiently if they are not severely mentally impaired, but they don't understand how to shift their method of thinking over from one subject to another. I could see the intelligence in some of my fellow classmates back in high school who were struggling in math and I could tell it was possible for them to do well on math quizzes and tests, but it's unfortunate that they couldn't realize that themselves. I wish we would stop saying that teachers are always the problem for poor students when that's simply not true. Sorry if I sounded a bit off-topic here. Was I?
  5. No, they just make our flaws more visible to others who are actually paying attention.
  6. You're told that you can go to Equestria forever, but you can't come back and history will treat your existence here as if it never happened. Do you accept?

  7. I'm not taking anything he says seriously until he faces VeganGains on the Drunken Peasants. Seriously, I'm getting pissed off that he keeps something finding ways to avoid coming on the show with him.
  8. My Little Pony, and... Well, that's about it. Is that good or bad? I don't know what qualifies as obsessed, to be honest.
  9. I need to get around to learning Arabic and Sanskrit. Maybe Syriac/Aramaic, but only spoken. I considered learning Chinese, but I know that's to messy for me.
  10. I read a couple of star wars books and played some of the games when I was younger. Lightsabers were sometimes referred to as laser swords, sometimes as an insult, sometimes because of a lack of knowledge.
  11. That's the reaction you typically have when you live with someone who only owns the prequel trilogy.
  12. I'm expecting the events of Soylent Green to take place, just with more advanced technology and medicine. Either that, or people will become so obsessed with technology that they'll find ways to live virtual reality lives or upload their consciousness to machines.
  13. I had a dream where I picked up a giant head of corn shaped into as Donald Trump's head and I laughed my ass off.
  14. Probably when King Sombra uses his magic door to show Twilight and Spike their worst fears. The idea of seeing your worst fear manifest before your very eyes is both a scary and sad thought.
  15. I like it. Something about the nose looks a little bit off, but that's not too important. It looks nice.
  16. I remember that I would always use to baffle my keyboarding teachers back in grade school. They would say that I had incorrect keyboarding posture, but I always had the highest typing speed in the class.

My handwriting is pretty bad though, so I guess that's the tradeoff. XD

  17. I love how this website has so many different emojis of different facial expressions of characters from the show. So funny. XD

  18. Apparently, some people think regular water is gross. I remember someone who said she couldn't stand water because it was tasteless and it had no flavor. If she kept that stance for a long time, I'm sure that half of her teeth are fake at this point.
  19. I'm getting back to reading Fanfictions again after a long hiatus. I really enjoy reading ones about humans being sent to Equestria. :)

  20. This wouldn't be of any significance to someone unless they took an interest in it in the first place...
  21. "Man, the music was ******* amazing. SGaP, Replacer, Le Soldat Pony regularly uploading content. Sori 52 was great. Every week there was something beautiful and amazing in the YouTube feed. And then they all disappeared." Took the thoughts right out of my mind. ):

  22. I wonder if its possible that some fanfiction writers with more lengthier stories have released their stories in book form. I've seen and nearly purchased a gigantic fanfiction story in book form, but that was not MLP related.
  23. Lol, this thread made me laugh. Yes, it's possible, but highly unlikely. Some people have really good intuition (a good chunk of these people are my cousins. ) and are able to read people's eyes and facial expressions so well that they can detect all kinds of qualities of a person. It's easy for certain individuals to detect innocence, anxiety, cowardliness, naivety and other characteristics, and they determine the type of person you are from that. I'm not saying that you have any of these characteristics, but your friendly greeting may have influenced his opinion about you. I've met several people who were like this, and they were able to see clearly through nearly anyone, but the problem with judging people based on this intuition is that some people's outer appearances can be a completely opposite representation of the type of person they really are. Here's kind of a funny example of what I'm talking about. Ever watched the cartoon "Undergrads"? The main character of the show is a perfect example of someone who's easily readable. At one part of the cartoon, he and his friends were talking about sex. It was easy for me to tell the guy was a virgin. A few minutes later, lo and behold, it's revealed that he is. Putting all of that aside, the fact that the very first conversation you had with him involved virginity should set off some alarm bells about his character. No, I'm not saying that he's a creep and that you should completely avoid him based on that one conversation alone, but don't forget about it. I'm guessing that he's probably just a harmless douchebag. He could even be a pretender. People who go off on discussions about these types of things for no reason, let alone for an introduction to someone, could just be full of BS. Try to tell for yourself if he's just messing with you for some laughs. If he goes on anymore about his personal life, you'll probably find out that he lifts everyday also. XD Safe For Work
  24. Do the exact same routine I always do, since I've always been a Unicorn. Nah, Just kidding.
