  1. Thank you, I'll surely use it! At least once i can figure out how to do it.
  2. I pretty much hate every class, but the classes I hate the least are English, (I love writing and reading) Digital interactive Media, (computers!) Web Mastering, (again, computers!) and A/V Production (Computers, last class with them). They also occur in that order. The class I hate the most is math. (or in my case, geometry) I really hate math, if it wasn't for technology, I wouldn't want math to exist. Everyone says it's logical, but I really suck at it. It's never been logical for me. I just wish my teachers would accept my great talent for sucking at math and just let me ditch it.
  3. I'm not going for a specific design here, just put stuff pertaining to Dada Life, Daft Punk, Deamau5, Minecraft, Doom, Savant, and CoD Zombies, along with my favorite quote, "Hold on, if love is the answer, you're home." all in one signature. Surprise me.
  4. I'm interested in music, ponies, video games, writing, and more music. Did I mention music? i don't think I have yet, so let me mention it. Music. Did I just go five seconds without mentioning music? Well here, allow me to mention it again, music.
  5. Who the hell takes a Daft Punk song and makes a dubstep remix out of it? They took a piece of art and ruined it.
  6. It was one of the earliest genres of house. An iconic instrument used to get that iconic squelch/distoted bass noises in that genre was the Roland TB-303. All nerdiness aside, it was basically just a minimal genre that would have a few (or mostly one) synth over a simple drum beat. Look up some acid house mixes or Da Funk.
  7. The mixing needs work, like everything just sounds too loud. But hey, it reminds me of acid house, and I really love acid house.
  8. Most of it. I'll understand the few things I don't get soon.
  9. Alright, thanks! I've also been watching Varien's music theory videos.
  10. Hey, I'll learn how to do good melodies. (gosh that was egotistic, even for me)
  11. I'll just stick to doing the music I like. I'll try to do more complex stuff, so I can go out of my comfort zone, (which is good for growing your talent) but less is more is just in my nature.
  12. To be honest, I've always preferred the less is more approach with music.
  13. It's okay. I'm open to criticism, as long as you have good reasons and you state them. Chances are when I grow older (and hopefully become successful) I'll probably look back on this and cringe. I tend to be a make one song and move on kind of guy, so I probably won't end up tweaking it in the future. Any tips for melodies and mixing? Edit: and holy crap your music on your SoundCloud is amazing. Please upload more. Now excuse me while I like and repost your songs.
  14. Let's see. In the real world, there's over 7 billion people. That would probably mean at least a few thousand people would have a similar talent. Apply this to ponies, I assume.
  15. https://soundcloud.com/pulse-43/maud-pies-joke Feedback, tips, and constructive criticism appreciated. Also, if someone could make a spectrum analyzer visualizer thingy with both Maud Pie and Discord for the YouTube video, that'd be great.
  16. I wanna make a song about phases now. I'm already doing a song with someone's vocals about a certain pony. Unrelated, but for some reason, I've also been itching to do a song with vocals of the fifth of November Guy Fawkes poem.
  17. The way I've noticed, especially with myself, is when someone grows out of a phase, they either don't care that they went through that phase, or they'll regret it. I've noticed with my phases, it's normally the latter. To be honest, I shouldn't be worried, but I do over-analyze. And thanks. Still new here, so I didn't know if this post was in the right place or not. Yeah, I once went through a Big Time Rush and iCarly/Victorious phase. Even had a Victorious pencil pouch in 6th grade. I regret it all.
  18. Basically, has anyone here ever stopped to think about whether or not this brony stuff is just a phase? Like, right now, I'm not only a major brony, but I'm also a major pony-shipper. A male, teen brony, who ships ponies and listens to EDM. Sounds like perfect phase-material, unfortunately. I'm just hoping none of this is a phase. I know this sounds cliche, but I feel like I'm at the best point of my life right now. I've learned to be more tolerant, I got back into EDM, and I've even started to screw around with making it (been doing it for almost 6 months now) and I plan on being a producer when I grow up. All because of ponies. Yet, what if one day I grow out of it? That has to be my biggest fear, honestly, is outgrowing this. Hell I remember one time someone kept trying to tell me my love of Daft Punk's music was just a phase.
  19. Die. It's my favorite word because of what it means in German. Despite sounding like a dark word in English, in German, it simply means "the" Like Die Glocke, which was a German weapon, sounds so brutal, but then when you translate it to English, it's just The Bell.
  20. It won't let me vote, but yeah I would. She is my favorite princess. Although I'd be a bit nervous.
  21. I haven't read this full thread yet, but, technically, Ed, Edd, n Eddy (an amazing cartoon btw) ended before the movie.
  22. Yo, I'm a bit new here too, but hello.
