In Season 3, Rarity had no episodes and almost no significant roles during the season. Meanwhile, in Season 2, both of The "AppleJack episodes" we're focused more on the rest of the Mane 6 and she was extremely scarce throughout S2. However, Fluttershy has had an episode focused on her in S5 (and there's another one coming up,) not to mention her roles in "The Cutie Map Part 2," "Tanks for the Memories" and "Make new friends but keep Discord." Overrall, she's the least important out of the Mane 6 in Season 5, but I wouldn't go so far as to revive the old "background pony" jokes for another pony.

I saw this a few days after it leaked............... I REGRET NOTHING! However, I held off on my reaction because I didn't want to spoil it for the folks who patiently waited until today to watch this (kudos to you guys.) - Safehouse is all boarded up, we've got plenty of supplies, we're all set for the zombie apocal- er.... I meant Nightmare night!! - "And what's the crunching sound? Maybe it's the bones of the ponies out didn't make it out aliiiive!!!" Granny/ What're u doin/ Granny/ STAHP!! - Oh no! Is that? TWICULA'S MANOR! - In all seriousness, Twi's castle looks perfectly spooky during Nightmare night! I guess that was the point. - CUTIE MARK CRUSADER TP.... ERS? I don't really know where I was going with that one. - Anime ponies!! - Personally, I prefer the costumes in Luna Eclipsed, except for AJ's. I LOVE her lion costume. She easily wins "best costume" IMO - Twilicorn Derpy?? I blame Larson!!!! - Dat Granny Smith skeleton... Isn't this a family show? - I liked the lesson though..... Sometimes when you conquer your fears, you still don't like the thing you used to be afraid of. You won't end up liking everything. I'll see y'all next week for a completely new episode.

Yeah, maybe it should be Rainbow/AJ, Fluttershy/Rarity and Twilight/Pinkie. Although, I've always wanted to see a Twilight Sparkle and Rarity episode.

Not bad. However, I would definitely suggest having more than just 2 map episodes. You have one for AJ and Rainbow and one for Pinkie and Rarity, but you forgot Twiilght and Fluttershy.

APPLES AND PIES TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!! -First things first: I have waited FOREVER to see Pinkie Pie's other 2 sisters in present day and to finally have a look at thier personality. - I knew that Spike's present would be a book. I saw that coming from miles away. xD - I guess Pinkie really DOES know how to think inside a chimney, just like Chancellor Pudding head. - Apple Bloom with her new cutie mark. Enough said. - Granny Smith was spot on in this episode. I loved all of her interactions with Pinkie's parents. - Maud is just as amazing as always. She's really smart too. - A gem mine next to the rock farm? Pretty. - I still love Maud as much as I did last season. Marble Pie is really cute and Limestone...... well, she's alright once you get to know her. Overrall, I loved it. The lesson was not to force your way of living on some pony else, just because you don't understand theirs, which is a great lesson. Nick Confalone said that he wanted to make this episode feel more like a Season 1 or 2 episode and I think he succeeded.

I don't think its a big deal. It may be down, but not by THAT much. They have a good shot at fixing it and they more than likely will.

Season 5's writing is at least twice as good as the writing in Season 4 IMO.

It would be nice to see Maretonia. That and Saddle Arabia. Thicket was beautiful though. It would be nice to see it in the show

Now that you mention it, it does make sense that there would be multiple dragon places. I honestly thought they would use the map 6-8 times in Season 5. There was even a trailer where Brian Lenard said something along the lines of "Places that you may have heard ponies reference in previous episodes, that you've always wondered what it's like, were going there,this season." Ah well, I'm not that upset over it. Like I said, maybe they'll use it more in S6.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think they actually said where Twilight and Fluttershy are getting called to and that episode seems like the last opportunity in Season 5 for them to explore a new area. I hope they use the map more than 4 times in Season 6, even if it's only 5-6 times. Also, didn't we already see the Dragon area in Season 2 with Dragon Quest?

I love world building too! I almost exploded with excitement when watching the S5 premiere and "The Lost Treasure of Giffonstone," just because of the amount of world building and lore in those episodes.

"Into the unknown" is probably the most interesting thing on map. Maybe they'll go there in the movie. Either that, the "Undiscovered west," or the "Mysterious South."

As many of you who already own the "Art of Equestria" book already know. The official map of Equestria has been updated to include areas such as Griffonstone, Our Town and even the rock farm. It also has areas we've never seen before, like "Luna bay" and "Bug Bear Territory." Do you think we'll see all of these in Season 6 and beyond? I still want to see Fillydelphia and Hollow Shades.

Either Pinkie Pie or Discord. Should be fun.

"Amending Fences," "Crusaders of the lost Mark," "Rarity investigates," "Tanks For the Memories." Pretty much all of Season 5 is amazing. Or, you can just start by showing him map episodes like "The Cutie Map Parts 1 + 2," "The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone," "Made in Manehattin" and "The Hooffields and Mccolts" when it comes out.

I know, right? Since Filli Vanilli, I've only seen her in Twilight's Kingdom Part 2 and Slice of Life. Both of which, were background appearances .
