My friend and I got a photo with the main band members. Unfortunately touring members weren't around and they're really cool! I should've said "next time with elivira and Kaylie" and maybe they wouldve been like "well let's go get them!"

Will There Be Romance In My Little Pony G5?

I would say I don't mind if there is romance. I didn't mind it in G4 as long it's built up correctly and not just random af. And there were some decent romance moments in G4 Spike and Gabby, Big Mac and Sugar Belle Tho the former was random it never went super serious romance anyway. But either way great episode. I was waiting for either Rarity and Applejack or Starlight and Trixie or something that we saw get developed for a while. It didn't happen and that's fine, but then in the finale we see Sandbar and Yona and it's like bruh we don't even know about Sandbars aspirations etc. And Applejack and Rainbow Dash out of nowhere like come on. If Sunny and Izzy get together that'd be nice. I feel like the movie really built up this great dynamic between the two. From the main group, Id probably only want one couple and then someone in group have a romance outside of the main group. I can't stand when shows have to ship every character in the end like romance is the end all be all. Really liked that Rarity was with anypony at the end tho I was hoping the single status would be reserved for Rainbow Dash.- 44 replies

I'm going to a haunted corn mazed with my friend on friday, friend's halloween party on saturday, and throwing my own get together on sunday

Ohhhh actually sounds pretty interested. But yea I get that saving money. One of the reasons I haven't been to any anime conventions or anything cuz too busy going to brony conventions and spending all my money there @Megas XD

MLP Convention in 2 Days:
State of abs: don't have....yet
Last week decided to push cardio in and today I am water fasting.
If everything goes correctly, I should have them by Thursday.
And then on Thursday/Friday just got not get too crazy with eating/drinking so that Saturday my abs with be showing in my Katara cosplay
I am so determined at the moment.
But at the same time....If I'm going to miss out on eating great food and drinking with my friends just to keep my abs for saturday...then I will sacrifice my abs for those first two days of the con!
Micro-managing at a convention sounds bleh

So not a Nirvana fan and Smells Like Teen Spirit I find terribly boring.
But my family put on Black Widow and I was like fuck it I'll watch it, but the cover version they put on is 10times worse

I've been practicing my makeup pretty often recently and definitely feel like I'm improving!
My excite for Ponyville Ciderfest has multiplied after seeing myself in my cosplay!
Still got a long list of other things to prepare for the con however

Wish I had ALL my old yugioh cards still
Not just because of how Rare (cough expensive cough) they were but also how satisfying it is to have complete stuff.
Looking back at these old cards and it;s like
"wow I had that card, hey I had that card, and that cards!" I have like 200 cards still and like 80 fake cards but damn so much gone.
Dark Paladin, Relinquished, Toon World, Blue Eyes, Red Eyes, Polymerization, cards that complete fusions, time wizard, etc.
And of course it would be for sentimental value as I dont play modern YuGiOh
(not that I ever played an old game either jajaja)

Gotta get my makeup game on point for my cosplays, and almost have my abs again. Burning off the fat without cardio took some time but I'm almost there
Trying to keep your spirit up is tough tho. Not just in terms of fitness but mental health too.

Zephyr Heights is great But honestly the daisy field that they're walking through with the tree that was on the map was muah beautiful!

So I saw the Gen 5 movie yesterday with my friend (and we had mexican food afterwards
)
I really liked it. First of all the character designs and the scenery were WOW AMAZING!
Before I had said that I would rathe take place in a different universe etc. (outside of friendship is magic) but a world where the 3 pony races (minus bat ponies) are separated and like rekindling is a pretty neat idea tbh. Def. interested in seeing what happens next.
The spectacle of each scene was pretty great. The first song "Gonna Be My Day" was incredible! I love it so much and Vanessa is soooo great! Not alot of pandering which is great. Fun characters and great voice acting. That being said here are my gripes:
-the end of the film had no grand spectacle (that robot was lame too)
-magic was restored because only like 16 ponies were "no longer racist"
-Those 16 ponies not being racist wasn't earned
-Hitch transformed/reformed out of nowhere (not earned)
-besides the first song the other songs kind of fall flat for various reasons (2-too short, 3-too goofy, 4-pretty good but a lil repetitive, 5-sounds great but some lyrics are cringe, 6-same as 4 but worse)

@Miss I love Sunny, favourite character along with Izzy. I just didn’t really think her transformation was as earned as Twilight’s was. Not that Sunny doesn’t deserve it, because she does. I just think the real journey for her only took a few days and for Twilight, it took three years.
And nopony reacts to Sunny transforming! Or at least they do slightly but not enough. Or does nopony know what an alicorn even is? Just add that to the list of a million unanswered questions this movie raises.

Hmmm still gonna have to disagree for the same reasons that the journey wasn;t three days it was basically her whole life while Twilight was 3 years.
And I gotta say they're more confused than anything I mean just a second ago when they saw a pony with a horn, without a horn, with wings, without wings, they were scared or angry so seeing one with both is more like wtf than anything. They don't know what an alicorn is. If you think about the only pony that knew anything about the past was Sunny's dad too. Everypony else thought it was just tales that there was a time when all pony races were friends.

@Miss I meant the journey that we see. I think it started when she met Izzy, Twilight’s started when she moved to Ponyville. Just my view.

Not sure if I made a status of this before (I know I have my moments of spewing stuff about halo)
Ranking original trilogy (campaign)
1. Halo 2
2. Halo Combat Evolved
3. Halo 3
Halo 3 is easily the worst. The campaign has alot of pandering, yes some is fine considering it's supposed to be the end but it's too much that it's annoying. But main reason is that it's way TOO EASY and the enemies are not fun to fight and the weapons aren't as fun to use either for the most part. CE has like every weapon be fun and Halo 2 with the exception of like 2 weapons where they're not fun to use. Floodgate is like the worst level ever. It's replaying through the same level, which one could say we've done that before, BUT it lasts like 2 seconds and of course including everything else I said before. I still like Halo 3 but just considerably weaker in terms of gameplay.
HOWEVER, multiplayer is easily the best....all because of forge. Without forge idk.

Halo 2 to me is like perfect (story, gameplay, atmosphere, music, emotional weight, etc.) besides annoying legendary.
Yea CE is great minus the tedium. The levels sometimes feel like they go on forever and of course the replaying the level BUT DIFFERETLY this time is fine and a cool aesthetic but not the most glamorous experience but still mega re-playable. In terms of the story not alot of emotional weight etc. at least for me. Maybe other people felt more connected to the characters but I wasn't really. But incredible atmosphere, art, music, and sound. The origin gets huge bonus points for originality.
