I can confirm that I did start the process of upgrading to IPB 4 last week. I do yearn for custom software, but alas, the EOL date is April 2017 and we don't have the resources to build something this featurific by that date. We have something like a bajillion different apps and hooks (now plugins) that we need to rebuild from the ground up or find and purchase their replacements.

To give up something you love because it only endangers you, it must be painful. Many years ago a friend of mine died from an epileptic seizure, which was down to massive failures from emergency services, you can read about that here. I can only appreciate what you must have to avoid, and experiences you miss out on because of this. I sure hope that future medical advancements will bring in better treatments for this and you are able to experience what you are forced to miss out on. -
